First off, we were not introduced to the massage therapists. I would like to know who is going to be touching my body for the next hour. The massage therapist left in the middle of my massage twice and someone else came in to massage me. I was not notified. I had a female and then it switched to a male. The male rubbed up my underwear on the side of my butt. Very uncomfortable. This stuff doesn't happen at a professional massage salon. I should have asked to see a massage license from the people rubbing us. I am unhappy with spending the money. I should have known not to go through with the massage as soon as I walked into the unprofessional business. Don't waste your money here. Spend the extra $20 to get a professional massage. I am in more pain than when I walked in. I am unhappy. I never leave massage heights or massage envy unhappy. Bad mistake - need to let other know this!

While the massage itself was good, it was extremely frustrating to pay for 90 minutes and receive significantly less time. The business should either schedule consultation and preparation time outside of the appointment or clearly explain that it is included in the advertised massage time. Unfortunately, this felt like a waste of money and was very disappointing. Update: Wow! Even look at the response from the company. Saying a 90 minute massage only gets 50 minutes of hands on time. What a rip off!!!

If I could give this facility no stars I would! The owner Robert Wallace never returned phone calls,…read moreor emails that were sent to him in regards to the cleanliness of the facility. Groupon buyer beware, once you book an appt with them they mark it redeemed on your end even if it's weeks ahead from now. Therefore, it shows as being used and there's nothing you can do! The man that greeted me at the door came with a mouth full of food after waiting 5 minutes for anyone to show there face ti greet me!! Then he asked who are you? Completely rude and acted put upon for asking questions when he gave a run down of the facility. He never explained how to use the equipment properly. He pointed to rooms where your supposed to go and the was the end of it!!! After going into the spa tub I noticed it was not cleaned, there was hair in it, the tub sides had grease on it and the tv/music in the room never worked. All you could hear is loud jets of the tub and the water stayed luke warm. I went to the desk to ask about this and again this young kid disappeared and no where to be found and another customer waiting to be spoken to standing there! I saw NO disinfectant sprays or towel avail for them to clean with or for the use of the customer. They have a facility with so many different things going on you can assure yourself it's a money making business just to get you in and tell you all the great things that will help improve you when it's all nothing but old used equipment. The facility itself was not clean and looked dingy. Another store front put up in strongsville trying to rip off customers and promise them the world with all the healing devices, as opposed to really seeking out professionals that have the proper equipment in there office and regulated by medical professionals. Not someone off the street to just sign up for the job to fill in as a body! Terribly disappointing and never got back my money after repeatedly calling and sending emails. Poorly run establishment, lack of customer service, unsanitary and way overpriced for what you think your supposedly buying off the pictures from there website! Don't be fooled this is not what it looks like online! They try to get you in to buy package deals and then your stuck being out the money! Don't fall for it, save your money. Groupon won't back you up on the dispute either bc they mark it used the minute you call to make an appt! No stars for me!!!

Very unfortunate experience for my husband. I'm grateful that I did not have the same experience…read morewhen we visited this Spavia. Due to the nature of what happened at Spavia in Strongsville, Ohio, my husband does not wish to revisit the details and asked that I write this review on his behalf. At first, the owners/managers of this establishment seemed genuinely concerned. They even asked that he send his experience to them in writing, since he was too upset to express it in person at the time. We were hopeful and did so--almost a month ago--but to date, we've received no reply from them. Regarding, his experience. We had hoped to write an updated, more positive review based on their stated desire to "make it right." Sadly, we cannot. Below is the review sent to the owners/managers about a month ago. Please read on and judge for yourselves. My husband and I had our first visit to Spavia last month in Dublin, Ohio, where he received an outstanding salt stone massage. Since we live in Cleveland, he was looking forward to having a similar experience at the Spavia in Strongsville. Unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite -- truly awful for him. Based on his provider, Ashley's reviews, it's clear his experience with her, wasn't due to her lack of skill or knowledge, but rather her lack of enthusiasm and unwillingness to perform the service with care. Making his 60 minutes session grueling and very uncomfortable. Far below Spavia's standards. From an excessively long and overly oily scalp effleurage "rub." It could hardly be called a scalp "massage." To the poor use of the stones, it was absolutely apparent that Ashley performed the "whole" service begrudgingly. After spending over $200, including tip, my husband left feeling stressed instead of relaxed. Maybe she was having an off day, but for an establishment like Spavia -- especially at this price point -- the service was totally uncomfortable & unacceptable. To say the least. I'm writing this review on his behalf, as it was such a disappointing and demeaning experience that he prefers not to relive it. To their credit, the managers immediately expressed concern and offered to "make things right." Since he was unable to explain his level of disappointment at that time, the managers advised him to write this review. Which we sincerely appreciate. We only wish the experience itself had reflected the high standard Spavia is known for.
