This place is always insanely jammed packed! Not sure how to rate it.. always bumping into people when picking out my food at the buffets stations. It's crowded and chaotic .. that's why I knock off one point for that. The wait was extremely long ! We waited about 40 minutes to get a table not fun! Otherwise, food is always fresh and delicious.. I'm shocked for buffet food it's really good! They got all our faves from the asian soup station/ sushi's are okayish lol they do roll it on the spot but lack the creamy textures I like in sushi so My belly skipped the sushi... they had poutine with already made bowls just add the sauce to it really good. They had fried crispy chicken super tender inside and crispy on the outside. The got a cash alcohol bar where you can order what you like that was fun! Lol The food is great for the price you pay and if you haven't tried this place out try it out!! Go for it but don't do it on a Friday Saturday Sunday lol Cheers

What a great buffet. On the tail end of my Quebec road trip my family and I decided to have dinner Sunday night at Buffet des continents. We figured it would be a good idea since kids are free and there is fruit and veggies we can eat so we can detox post vacation. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice, from an Eiffel tower base designed into the eating area to the hanging ceiling lights. We arrived right at 430 when they start serving dinner and saw the staff have a meeting. Seemed very professional and with good team work. The place was very clean. The food was amazing too. We were shocked to see the stand with freshly steamed mussels and stone crab legs. I can remember a beachside place I bought stone crabs at in South Beach Miami. The place charged me over 8 bucks for 2 little claws. Here I can honestly say the crab was just as fresh and tasty and the fact that it's unlimited was amazing. A grill section had a server making fresh gyros and they tasted fantastic. He declined when I offered to tip. There was Vietnamese pho offered with optional sriracha sauce that tasted pretty good. Smoked meat at the meat carving area was also good. Linguini and pasta with mussels in marinara sauce was delicious. Everything we had was very good except the fruits which were a bit weak compared to the rest of the offerings. They seemed a couple days old and soggy and variety was slightly limited. The ice cream was also good though the bubble gum flavor isn't for everyone. I'm jealous and sad that this great restaurant chain, Buffets des Continents is only in Canada. While driving back to the Tristate area, I was thinking about the limited good and affordable buffet options in town.

Take out is actually quite favourable! 17$ for 4 choices plus a soup . Decent portions good for 2-3 ppl. Delivery prices can get steep so opt for pick up

In the lasagna there were like a layer of like rice pudding goo

The staff were really nice. But there were some staff that were watching you eat and it makes you really uncomfortable. There is a lot of opsion of food. The food is not that bad.But there were some food that looks and taste like shit!!!Like the lasagna had a layer of like disgusting rice pudding goo!!! The bowl for the soup is dirty that makes you vomite. There were some food that was dry like the Sahara desert. The price was not that bad and you don't have to pay if your kid is under 12 years old.

I honestly don't understand the hype about this chain, the food was *okay* at best - I would have given it a mere 2 stars if it hadn't been the Mexican fiesta. Seafood was cold (worst garlic shrimps I've ever had), Mexican chicken was extremely dry and had way too much onion and tortillas tasted like cardboard... Waited approximately an hour to get in on a Saturday night. At least our waiter was kind and efficient.

All you can eat pita! How many can you have at a buffet! Lol

***3 out of 5 stars*** If you have been spoiled to luxurious Vegas buffets, you will not like this place, lol....The buffet is no frills simple food, like fries, pizza, pasta, roast beef, The name of the restaurant speak for itself, meaning they serve food from "continents" such as Asian, Greek, Italian, Japanese.....Sorry, no Australian Meat pies or Spanish paellas there.... The dining room is massive, you would notice a huge base of the Eiffel Tower in the middle, does it remind a hotel somewhere in Vegas :) ??? Special items at the buffet: pho (it's ok), made to order chicken/gyro pita (very good!), grilled your own steak/shrimp (good concept, but the steak was way too tough and chewy) The desserts were generic, like your typical chocolate cake, puddings, cookies and ice cream. Special items: baklava and cheesecake. Would I go back? Surprisingly, YES! I love their pizzas, spaghetti, chicken/gyro pita, and especially the Greek fried potatoes! For $22 on a Friday night, it was fairly priced. Next time, I will try there brunch! Be warned, massive line ups! But the lines moves fast, as the turnover is fast as they have many tables.

First time I went for lunch.... Decent variety of food. As for the taste it's exactly what you would expect from a buffet. Cooks were constantly going as fast as they could to refill the empty trays. Service was good as-well, water/coffee were constantly being refilled at a good pace. Although, the one thing I didn't like was our waitress bringing the bill way before I asked for it. It felt like she was trying to rush us out. 2nd time going for supper.... CHANGE TO MY REVIEW: went back for supper on Saturday. There was a HUGE line but when I went inside to see it how packed it was tables were 90% empty!! Doors we're suppose to open at 4:30 they opened only at 5:30! Get your stuff in order AHEAD OF TIME! We were a group of 10 people, we just kept watching the manger take groups of 4-5 people. I mean how hard is it to stick 2 tables together to accommodate the bigger groups. Owner/manager came to ask us what how our experience was? We replied it's was ok. She did not look pleased. Could have said something along the lines of I'm sorry what can we do to improve your experience or something. But nope, instead she just looked unhappy and said thank you and walked away. Wouldn't go there again. Went from giving a 4* down to a 1*.

first time trying this place went with my family for dinner cuz my sister recommended us to try it so we went ... the food they got alot of choices like grilling ur own meat and pho... some indian food chinese food greeek if you ask me if i will go again i will.

The brunch isn't so bad on a Sunday morning but I wish they could have more choices in the menu. That way, people cant try everything and they will come back to try the rest the next time. I like that you can choose to eat a regular meals for brunch especially if your typical eggs, pancakes and hash brown aren't your type. The quality of the food available is not too shabby either. The decorations are varied, there are 5 countries decoration in the room. The service is pretty good. The staffs made sure you enjoyed your stay in the buffet and the water is always refilled. The coffee and black teas are free of charge and you get refilled. The food plates are always emptied out of our tables before we come back with new plates. Overall, the place is decent. I might give this place another try for dinner time when the lineup isnt so intense. For the ones who come in groups, please come earlier. Otherwise, group of two like me go before you. ;-)

Hottest item was the soup, however hot and sour soup not very tasty. All might have tasted better if it had been hot. No offerings such as sushi, fresh cooked wok items. Bathrooms ancient, not very clean, overflow storage all over the place. $32.00/person before taxes. A total ripoff for what was offered. Advise everyone to pass this on by and go up the street to well run and far better restaurants offered to Lasalle residents.

When we went here, there wasn't anyone else in the restaurant, so I'm not sure how long the food sat out - but yikes. Everything was pretty old and stale. Weirdly enough, even the oranges were prob. the most sour oranges I've encountered. For a buffet, the selection of food was rather grim with not too many choices. Food was meh throughout - egg rolls were okay, but the "wonton" soup simply was just broth with floating pieces of wonton wrappers - there was no meat, wth?! Numerous other dishes were so forgettable that I don't even remember them.

Buffet La Bonne Carte is pretty darn "bon" with a good variety of eclectic dishes that can be served a la carte or self-served at the buffet line. In my opinion, it's the best place in the casino to get a good heaping of everything without sacrificing quality for reasonable prices. For the budget conscious, coming here is practically a must. The list of casino establishments are all too much at times - L'Entre Mise Deli is overpriced, simple food, Nuances is overpriced, gourmet food, and Via Fortuna doesn't do Italian any better than Olive Garden would in the states. The Buffet's menu will change daily and the food is lavishly good during dinner and during my favorite time, brunch. A majority of the menu will be French and American inspired cuisine, and at a fixed price of $15.95 (lunch), $25.95 (dinner from Mon-Thurs) , $34.95 (dinner - Fri/Sat) and finally $19.95 (brunch). My favorite time is brunch since the breakfast food is scrumptious with good presentation and generally available in all kinds of varieties. Plus, if the party is here long enough, it'll transition into dinner time where the food is smashingly amazing. Plenty of locals will frequent this place and the lines will be past the elevators for the dinner showing on the weekends. A gripe I would have is the customer service is nearly non-existent (since everything is self serve) and they serve no breakfast (opens at 11AM). That's what the casino gets for not having a hotel. Either way, I'm so down with this place for Brunch and Saturday night dinner. It's a great alternative to the small restaurants back in the city.

When you get there, take the elevator, the floor plan will make your head spin more than a ride at nearby amusement park La Ronde). Quality, yes. Reasonable prices? If $25.95 is reasonable for a buffet. Moderately priced for the quality delivered. I must say they lost money on me. The menu is mostly French and American, even Quebecois "pudding chomeur" (OK, so it's an in-joke). Lots of Asian tidbits when I was there (e.g., Dim Sum and lychee). Quite well done, and the frult was fine (one of the main problems with the budget-priced buffets). I can't think of a single dish that disappointed. I was so full, the dessert pastries were wasted on me. Or, rather I was wasted on an overdose of food. The (Canadian dollars) "prix fixe" is $15.95 (lunch), $25.95 (dinner MON-THU) , $34.95 (dinner FRI/SAT ) and $19.95 (brunch). I paid $25.95 (dinner SUN). Service is grand and friendly. Leave a tip, since Quebecers as a whole are supposedly poor tippers.

Deserts tasted like "fridge", which means they were made in advance and been in the fridge for a while (cakes excluded). Pizza is super dry! Ceiling was dripping at the entrance, so you had a bucket surrounded by three chairs with a sign "Do not sit down" on them.
