Perhaps our visit last year was during a good time, but it seemed inventory was down, and prices were up. The art selections were fewer, and the variety of collectables seemed fewer, too. The quality of merchandise is usually pretty high, but prices have gone up, reducing the perceived value, overall, of the merchandise. There is much junk, but it's easy to comb through. Their clothes are separated by their color (love this!). Of course they have size dividers on the clothing racks. Clothes were in pretty good condition & I found that their prices were reasonable unlike another common thrift store in town. They even have dressing rooms! Only problem I found with their dressing rooms is there is no bench to sit down on if needed nor anyplace to set your purse. I only found 3 posts to hang clothes on but unfortunately others had left their unwanted items on them. I did find a rack outside the dressing room to hang your clothes on that don't fit/you don't like. I had to use the bathroom while there & found the ladies room clean & they even had more than one stall. There was two water fountains outside of the bathrooms & one had a filter water option so if you happen to bring in your water bottle you can fill it up with filtered water. I wish on their shoe racks that they had the sizes on the shelves & their shoes organized by their size. I found an expensive pair of dress pants for only $5.00! I also found a large selection of crafting scissors & bought a couple of them to use with a scrape book that I want to put together. There was no line when I went to check out. The cashier was nice. The store didn't have a strong smell of air freshener like some other thrift stores have. I didn't feel gross after shopping here. I'll definitely want to stop in here again next time I'm in town visiting my friend. I was very impressed. :-)

The last time I stopped by employees were RUDE. Especially the bigger woman who feels she needs to yell across the room to say they are closed for remodeling or whatever they are doing. Not sure, but real employees should have more people skills & not seem so miserable. It did not say they were closed online and the door was open. I saw a few people try to enter that day. I do NOT recommend this place due to lack of customer service skills. Will not be returning to shop or to donate.

The Tucson Thrift Shop actually connects with a pass through with another store called, The Other Side. The staff were friendly, but stayed behind the counter and offered a nice smile and said hello when you entered the store and have a nice day when you left. They certainly dressed as if they shopped at their own store and had enough tie dyed shirts to make any deadhead happy. If you're in town, it's definitely worth a peek inside.
