At 8am today hardly any shopping baskets when you come out n main entrance and ones that were there had garbage in most of them. Again lazy staff. Vegetables like celery and broccoli rubbery to the touch always. Mushrooms are always spotted and brown In the bakery this morning I found a chocolate cake that was 3 days past best before date. Not the first time I have seen this all over the store. When I pointed it out to staff they seemed like they didn't care. Poor management and poor work ethics would be my guess to these problems. I've been shopping here for 4 years now and have seen these problems start a few years ago. Probably going to start shopping elsewhere.

This store is my favorite convenience store by far. It's open 24-7 365 days a year and even though…read moreit is a little bit expensive, the fact that I literally live right beside this place totally makes up for it with the convenience factor. To say that I shop here at least twice per day is being conservative. The staff are all very friendly and I have never had a problem there. One thing that they do that annoys me a bit is when some of them are on the phone the whole time they are serving you. They are always speaking in a language I can't understand and sometimes they don't say anything to me except for how much my bill comes to. I'm guessing that maybe it's a cultural thing? I tend to notice that a lot of people from that part of the world do the same thing. I find it a bit rude, but it may be completely acceptable in their neck of the woods. I dunno... I do know that they have been nothing but friendly and helpful to me when I had a question or something like that. I love this place!

Many of their foods are self serve that are ready to be put into your own jars (once covid restricts are through). If you don't have jars or are in need they offer jars, and paper bags. They have sustainable items for house hold needs like laundry and cleaning, and dishes. They have items to bring home like reusable containers, straws and so forth. There is a beauty/health item area and they have containers for those as well. They have great items that make sustainable living more accessible to the community of chilliwack. They are not always the most affordable option, as some foods are vegan or gluten free. And those do cost more regardless of if you're shopping at this store or a department store. But overall it does help the environment to cut down on unneeded plastics. This is a great community resource.
