We were camping nearby and needed to pick up some groceries for our trip. The closest grocery store is Save On Foods. We grabbed two packs of weiners, hot buns and some treats for our camping trip. There are lots of free parking in front of this Save On Foods. The inside is well stocked and have good selections of items. We managed to find everything that we need for our trip. read more

Place is way over priced and the food is usually old, there is always old fruit and veggies in produce, not mention that the meat is always old smelling I don't recommend shopping here at all just stealing ur money basically.. read more

Today being Father,s Day and the border still closed ,I wanted to do something special for my Dad,sister and family but I live in Washington state.I called save on on Vedder rd Chilliwack near where my Dad lives and spoke with Joanne,after consulting with her manager we were able to put together a wonderful dinner of ribs ,salad,pie and even ice cream.Of course it would have been even better to be sitting at the table with them ,but thank you soooo much Joanne and save on foods,for helping out in these tough times and I know my famliy appreciates you too.Look forward to thanking you in person when things' open up' Sincerely Marie Thomas read more

Well, since there is no listing for the Save On Foods in Chilliwack, this will do. NO CASHIERS!!! After standing in line for 15 minutes, I am not kidding, after one customer already complained to customer service, I finally complained and they pulled several people off the floor to the cash registers. She couldnt see this herself??? Duffis, my cashier, said they cut back on hours on all staff and this dude was slow as molasses on top of it. Good kid but shouldn't he be stocking shelves or something?? There were lines going down the isles and only 2 cashiers were open on a Sunday afternoon. Church is over! Meanwhile I was drinking my cough syrup right out of the bottle as I was not feeling well, and told the lady with the ice cream to be safe & take it back. Sorry for the complaint but seriously get it together! Great staff though! I was thoroughly entertained. read more

The store is always clean. I love that the provide little fruit baskets for kids while you're shopping. Staff has always been helpful if I can't find something. The produce is a decent selection. read more

while shopping at save on foods i went to get a price match on nabob coffee as saveway was sold out i asked if they priced match they said yes we do . so when i tried to get a price match they asked for proof of the price ,i showed them a rain check from saveway and they said they dont except that ...in a rud manner i may add....i thought thats realy stuppid of you guys and walked out ...needless to say i wont be shopping there anymore read more
