It's nice having locally grown sprouts and mixed greens available as well. They even have some lovely locally produced soaps, salt, and other items if you're looking for good gifts. Employees are friendly and helpful, check-out lines usually move pretty quickly, most of the time there is ample parking, and the restrooms are clean.

Save on Foods is a grocery store in Squamish. Very close to many of the homes and shops in the…read morearea. It is a very large store with many items. There's a lot of parking as well. The first thing that I noticed was that many of their produce was very large...larger than normal! It was very interesting. I also noticed that many of their meats were free ranged. I liked that they are health conscious. I purchased some groceries from here, but also was able to get maple cookies for friends and ketchup chips. This store has just about everything that you could think of. They even had a fresh bakery section and even a deli. The lines were rather long with a lot of people shopping however it went by really quickly. They ask if you need bags, but they prefer that you bring in your own reusable bag. Overall great grocery store to visit!

At 8am today hardly any shopping baskets when you come out n main entrance and ones that were there had garbage in most of them. Again lazy staff. Vegetables like celery and broccoli rubbery to the touch always. Mushrooms are always spotted and brown In the bakery this morning I found a chocolate cake that was 3 days past best before date. Not the first time I have seen this all over the store. When I pointed it out to staff they seemed like they didn't care. Poor management and poor work ethics would be my guess to these problems. I've been shopping here for 4 years now and have seen these problems start a few years ago. Probably going to start shopping elsewhere.

Every time we stop in there it's a disappointment, the girl who cashiered this last time was rude enough that we will never return there, there is much friendlier service offered along the highway.

Today however,our son called to inquire as to whether the store would be altering store hours to allow for "Seniors Only" access due to the COVID 19 Pandemic.. The employee answering the phone rudely stated "Dude,we will not be doing that" When our son asked to speak to the Manager,the employee hung up and later "Blocked "him in his efforts to speak to the Manager.. While I am not denying that the conversation did not get heated between the employee and our son;the employee did nothing to provide Good Customer Service nor make an effort to engage the Manager While I would have rated this Store at a 3.5+,today's interaction indicates that this particular employee needs more training in the area of COVID 19,Respectful Public Engagement and the Importance of Involving a Manager.. -Karen
