Was a bit confusing initially, but once driving around a time or two, you get the hang of it. Inside, the store is arranged in the standard manner, the only issue is that each time I have been there the shelves have been bare and very unorganized. Staff has always been friendly.

The items were unused but that didn't seem to even matter to them as they stated they do not do returns. I was told that is always the case and I questioned this as the receipt doesn't state that information. I asked for corporates phone number so I could inquire about this policy and the number provided wasn't for corporate so I then went to their website which clearly states you can in fact return and will be given credit in the form of original payment, cash included. I will be pursing this issue further with the BBB as this was a complete lie.

When I handed my ID to the manager he accused me of having a fake ID, threatened to call the police on me and belittled and humiliated me in front of all of the other customers. I was told not to return back to the store. I was absolutely horrified and went home and cried. I have never in my 26 years of life been treated so poorly. I was absolutely disgusted with the service I was given. Even after I tried to explain that I am a little person and show proof he didn't want to hear it. I've never had any issues like this but if he was genuinely concerned there are so many other ways to handle that situation. Judging someone based on the way they look is wrong! The way i was treated was wrong and I hope nobody else ever has to feel the way I did leaving that store.

As you can see by the picture they close at 11:00pm, it's only 10:40 and the cowboy looking staff members is locking the door right in my face telling me I'm not allowed to enter as he could clearly see I have a bag in my hand that I am trying to return. So therefore, I am forced to come back another day. No one has time for this sort of behavior nor should this be allowed. This is not the first negative review for this company and I'm sure it's probably not going to be the last. I even did a follow up call the next day with corporate and they seem to care less. This is nothing but disgraceful that the customers are treated with such little respect.

This Big Lots iteration is definitely bigger than there previous location across the street, and,…read moredang, it looks brand new (but that's not the case as Bethany's review is six years ago). This location has everything the Pickerington Big Lots has , but more quantity, and this store has even more items to sell as this store is much bigger. Products are displayed nice and orderly, not strewn all offer like a treasure hunt. Came across the manager gentleman, and he directed me to their kitchen ware. I needed another pan, and the selection here was pretty fantastic compared. I thought the keen organization, plenty of aisle space and the huge parking lot were all bonuses. I'll definitely go a few miles north to this Big Lots for all my future needs.

What I like about coming here as I feel safe coming in and out of the store. The store inside is usually clean. I don't feel my car is going to get broken into or hit or bumped. All pluses. But many more a reflection of the area not the store itself. I feel there is a wide array of different products to draw me inside. Priced reasonably. I feel that overall they usually have a good selection of items and staff is constantly stock. Today it seemed like a key manager might've been absent and while the cat was away, the mice were playing. Lots of chitchat at the registers amongst staff themselves. I overheard one of the staff saying there doesn't seem to be any carts. That stuck with me. The inside of the store wasn't excessively busy with customer traffic. That seems like a staff problem. I made a point to look outside. sure enough the outside cart corral was full, but the insides were empty. Not many customers know there is an outside cart corral you simply jump from your car and walk inside and expect there to be carts not today obviously One cart was sitting in the middle of the street another was sitting on the side of the street. Lots of them were where they weren't supposed to be. The car returns outside in the parking lot separate from the corral were full. It took me a long time to self scan my items. I actually went slow to see if they would actually go outside and start returning carts --- nope. It took me almost as long to organize the packages from my cart into my car, so nobody was collecting carts. That's just inefficient and poor management if you want people to buy things you need to have carts inside as well as outside. How do I come inside and there were no carts I wouldn't have gone outside to retrieve one. I would've walked to my car and gone home shopping trip over. Also to be meantioned. Someone needs to clean up the trash along the entrances curb and grassy area. Its pretty messy.
