I arrived about 10 minutes before about my appointment and was able to park right in front of the salon. I was greeted warmly by Jenna upon arrival when I checked in. My hair was in pretty rough shape, and Chelsea and I discussed what I requested ( at length) and gave me her recommendations as soon as I sat in her chair. What a lovely young lady she is. She did a remarkable job considering what she had to work with ( I had not done my hair for almost a full year). She is polite, professional, kind l, patient and competent. I'm carrying around a newborn and toddler all day so that was extremely upsetting. Not only is she very nice, punctual and reasonably priced, she's an extremely experienced electrologist with 20 years. And her location is one of the nicest I've ever been to for electrolysis, being discreet, impeccably clean and comfortable- not at the back of a busy hair salon! Electrolysis is much cheaper and permanent- unlike laser hair removal that doesn't work on light-colored hairs, darker skin, or hairs with very deep roots. Most people have to go to electrolysis after trying laser (but be warned- it takes months for all permanent hair removal to show results since there are multiple follicles). Women or men in New Bern, Havelock, MCAS Cherry Point, or anywhere in Eastern NC who need permanent hair removal should see Linda at Eastern Electrolysis; you won't be disappointed! Her hours were Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 10am-5pm.
