Hello! My apologies for taking so long to write this review. My daughters sent me here for Mothers Day but I did not go until June. Let's start with walking into this amazing establishment. Smells good, clean and the most polite staff. Everyone from check in to the treatment I received was the best! All done with care and professionalism. Catherine was my massage therapist! With hands from heaven! I know I was snoring when she finished. I know I was, it was the best! And Ms Kaci provided the mani and pedi services! This young lady was so gentle, and caring. I enjoyed talking with her. She has a chair that when you sit in it to get your pedi the bowl comes from under the seat. I have issues with my knees, this chair was easy to get into and out of, the most comfortable! I wish there was a location up in the Raleigh-Durham area but I am not sure if it would have the southern charm as this location. This is what New Bern, NC has to offer. My home town! its always hard when you move and you have to start looking for a new esthetician. Bikini or Brazilian waxing is not something you want to learn in a trial by error scenario. I went to Envee and they were great! I usually get a bikini wax because I am worried about ingrown hairs and the quality of the esthetician. I finally got my first Brazilian wax at Envee and although it was painful Shelby really made the experience as quick and positive as possible. She was very quick and to the point you can tell she has been doing this a long time! I went back a second time a got Patty, who was also great, professional and customer focused. I was also really impressed by their prices, especially because they have some really great people working there. Furthermore, I appreciate that I can book an appointment online, and they send me email confirmation and reminders. Coming from California I thought I would never find an esthetician as great as the ones back home and if I did it was expensive, but at Envee I get all start treatment and reasonable prices. I see that this will be the lowest star review Envee has received so far, but they need to take the good with the bad. I was given a $75.00 gift certificate from my son to Envee. I dont go to Spas as often as I want, and didn't know what to choose, so I just thought I would get the "Signature Manicure and Pedicure" priced at $65.00. It said that both services would be 1 hour and 45 minutes. I got there at 1:00, filled out papers and had temperature taken (Due to the Covid-19 guidelines). I think she began about 8 minutes after 1:00. My entire manicure was complete at 1:30! I had not had a manicure in over 4 months and the cuticles really needed work. She whizzed through my manicure, and began the pedicure at 1:35. My pedicure started and I was walking out the front door at 2:10! After the pedicure I walked to the register expecting to be told I had an extra $10.00 credit on my gift certificate, but this never happened. Knowing I had a $75.00 gift card ,the owner says, " O.K were done. Your good , have a nice day!" I wanted to get the extra 10.00 and give a tip with it, but this woman didn't say anything to me and just kept the extra 10. That in my mind showed dishonesty, and I left confused and bothered by the whole experience. What they advertised that I would be receiving in the 2 services were just rushed through. Because of these items that occurred and based on my experience at other Spas, I gave them 2 stars. It was not a good spa experience and I won't return. When my mother and I got here, a little early to fill out our first time initial paperwork, the place looked brand spanking new inside and out. We were greeted by friendly staff, with big smiles. It was extremely inviting and comfortable. I met with Ms. Julie for my Prenatal Massage, and she was just as sweet and nice as all the other staff members. She made me feel so comfortable and asked me several times throughout my massage if I felt comfortable and if the pressure she was using was too much or not enough. The massage room was very clean, had dim relaxing lighting, and soothing music playing. The bathroom (which I had to use twice, due to baby squirming around lol) was modernly updated and extremely clean. My mother saw Ms. Natalie for her massage and had nothing but wonderful things to say when we met up again afterwards. Awesome place, awesome staff, will definitely be coming back again after baby is born! Thank you for such a relaxing, and tranquil experience. I've bought my mom several gift certificates for massages and facials for Envee. She had nothing but good things to say about the experiences she's had at the spa. We decided since I was visiting from out of town, we should have a girls day and go in together. Normally, I opt for gel nails for a manicure, but that wasn't an option. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and I'm happy I did. It was one of the best manicures I've ever had and after a week, the regular OPI polish I chose is still going strong. No chips what so ever. Next time I'm back in NC, I'm going to make sure to spend some more time at Envee! My only complaint is their scheduling is tight. It seems like they book out a month or more in advance, but this is obviously for good reason. read more

A friend of mine got me a gift card here for my birthday. She said I needed to have a service done outside of work, to have a more tranquil experience. I absolutely loved that I could book online and that they are open on Monday's!!! (Most salons/saps are not). I made an appointment with Kristi for an anti aging facial. I was greeted by welcoming smiles when I walked in the door, and struck up quick, easy conversation with staff members while I filled out my paper work. The spa was so clean and modern looking. (I had a massage recently somewhere and felt like I was laying in the middle of a 1990's Kirkland's) My facial was AHHH AMAZING! Hands down one of the best I've had...ever! The hot stone arm and lag massage really took it to that higher level of costumer care. She was also very knowledgeable on the product line they carry and gave me some samples to take home. We are normally wax each other but we are in the process of moving so our kit is packed and oh golly let me tell you it is wayyyy faster and hurts much less when a pro does it!!! Need a massage, was late 15 minutes (called and got worse direction)....20 minutes later was told "Oh you drove all the way here for nothing" I'm so sorry I can't take you "Said the smug massage assistant". They already ran my spafinder card (now I was married to them). They pointed out there cancellation policy (which I wasn't cancelling) I was lost due to bad directions (now I'm more stressed and in need of a longer massage). The smug girl said here's my card and a brochure of our services you can come back another day. I stuck around looking at the facial products they have on their shelves (that have been there since the beginning of time) thinking I may as well cut my losses because I certainly don't want a massage by this pompous girl that found it quite joyful to "rub-in" that I was SOL while all her associates stood by with equally smug looks on their faces. Not to mention the so called spa has no atmosphere you could hear the girls in the back talking about me being late and using a spa finder gift card. There is no calm spa music playing, from what I could see the rooms are just stalls with curtains so their is no real privacy. Mind you now I've been there for another 20 minutes and the smug girl who couldn't take me was still standing around talking about vacation plans. I was so upset. I went to the counter while blowing the dust off of the facial product I found that cost .60 (cents) more than my gift certificate was for. I said to the girl it's .60 more than my spafinder card is for but could she let it go? With total resistance she said I have to ask my boss. WOW what superb professional Relaxing business! I said to the owner "well that could be my mileage reimbursement) since I drove 30 miles one way so 60 miles for .60 pretty good deal for you. With a little squirming the owner agreed. I was never so mad as I was at this time. It was suppose to be a relaxing experience, I looked forwarded to it. I have been to many 5 star Spa's around the country Boston, NY, California, Hawaii, etc. this is neither a spa or a place of peace and calm. Make sure if you go do NOT pay up front or you will be walking out with something not worth the time, drive or money. Suggestion....get a new staff first, then make actual rooms with walls for your clients! This was my first experience getting a Brazilian wax. Needless to say I was super nervous. When I phoned to make the appointment, the woman who answered the phone was very helpful with answering all my questions and concerns. She told me specifics that would need to be done on the day of the wax that I would have never thought of. When I arrived everyone was very pleasant and nice. They had me fill out the standard form that you would fill out for a massage. The atmosphere was very relaxing and serene. They showed me back to a very private room that was very clean and decorated nicely. I was allowed to bring a friend in with me (moral support and all). The esthetician, Patti was very very nice and made me feel very comfortable. She explained the whole process to me in detail and asked if I had any questions. The whole process took less than an hour and she explained the after care part of the process. I was not painful the whole rest of the day and am very happy with the results. Even though I live in Jacksonville, I would very easily make this drive just to go see Patty again. Overall very lovely experience! read more
