Gayle and I stopped here to buy some pralines for her Mom back home. This is a huge (and touristy) candy store, but well run and with helpful and friendly folks. We found what we needed, everything travelled well, and our gift was very much appreciated.

We were walking around Lower Broadway (Honky Tonk Hwy) while waiting for our dinner reservations, and grabbed some goodies for the hotel room. One of the employees gave us a quick blurb on the candy factory's history: It's a family business of many decades dedicated to handcrafting a diverse range of Southern sweets and delicacies. The founder is Stan, aka "The Candy Man." Aside from the wall-to-wall and candy dispensers, SCK also offers Gourmet Popcorn, Pralines, Divinity, Cakes/Pies, and various gift ideas. I walked away with bags of some of my favorites - Hot Tamales, other Mike & Ike's flavors, Sweet Tarts, and Cherry Sour Balls & Jelly Beans. It was cool to watch the gourmet popcorn, chocolates, and candied apples being made. The sweet landmark you have to stop by when in Nashville. Just don't snack too much before dinner.

Decadent treats and incredible customer service. The gentleman working in the shop was so friendly and even shared his praline recipe. We stopped in for a chocolate guitar since the ones at our hotel were overpriced. We found some at Savannah's Candy Kitchen that were much more reasonably priced. The chocolate was okay and I appreciated that they placed it in a box so it wouldn't break.

Got a single scoop with two flavors for just around $5, (best price in the area, other shops are $6-$8 for a single scoop). House made ice cream. Great flavor. Not overly sweet. Nice customer service. They also sell fudge, chocolate covered items, candied apples, and more.

Yuuuuuum! I received some treats as a souvenir from my hubby. The dark chocolate peanut butter cup was my favorite. It's sooo large and thick that it equates to king size pack of Reese's. The pralines were so delicious that my Father-in-law, from the heart of Louisiana, asked if they'd come from there. Definitely suggest stopping by if you're able.

As I was taking my Yelp pictures, my wife and daughter went shopping for their treats. I think the employee was flirting with my wife? And he did not give her any free candy, lol. Quality/Quantity - Free samples right when we walked in. So inviting and welcoming. They "got" us... My daughter got a speciality caramel apple and some candy, fudge, etc. Atmosphere - Good size location. See pictures. Crazy busy location on a busy tourist street. Ice cream, gelato, caramel apples, popcorn, etc. Open 7 days a week from 10am to 10pm. Service - Excellent service as he was flirting with my wife. Cut their apple, etc. Well, even better service if he threw in some candies, lol. Price - $20 ish. Not sure if my wife tipped, lol. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1991 and with your 7 locations.

I was literally a kid in a candy store when we passed by this on Broadway while in Nashville during the day. I have a sweet tooth and just walking by and smelling the fresh pralines and gophers being made really brought me into the store! There are so many sweet treats you can get here and caramel apples too! I got the milk chocolate gopher which is like a huge turtle-- caramel, pecans, and chocolate. And the caramel and chocolate pralines. Oh my SOo good! The workers are super friendly and there are so many treats and candies you can get here. I'd highly recommend and I would probably order on their website or if I ever see a brick and mortar I'll stop to get something fresh! I'm drooling just thinking about it and looking at my pictures!

Loved walking around this store with my eyes wide open and my jaw dropped. There were so many candy types include chocolate, chews, lollipops, and more! They gave out free samples of pralines which were sweet and savory. Staff were so kind and helpful. I got to try their dark chocolate caramels which wasn't as chewy as I was hoping. I am curious about their caramel apples so I would like to come again.

I loved Savannah's Candy Kitchen they had so much varieties of candy. I purchased caramel apples, I wish the caramel apples had some sprinkles without the chocolate but it was still good. I bought one caramel apple & another one the next day but had it cut up. I prefer the whole apple, the cut up one was stuck to the paper & was way more messy than I thought it would be. They have homemade ice creams that looked super creamy. The servers were nice & patient.

I had just finished eating lunch and was still cooling down from my"hot chicken" experience. I saw all this candy in barrels not too far from the door and scooted in to check things out,  lol. The candy store was huge with different types of candies. They had the old school candies, the different jelly bean flavors, and my favorite "chocolate." They had different types of chocolates with nuts. I was trying to decide what I was going to purchase when I saw my absolute favorite,  caramel apple with peanuts. lol. I stopped looking and just purchased.  The cashier asked if i wanted my apple Sliced, and i said yes. As I was waiting to finish my checkout, I did see an area where they sold gelato and/or ice cream.   There's something for everyone in this store, and I would definitely return to purchase some other items.

Savannah's is a legit candy shop. They make a majority of their goodies and carry a large variety of sweets. Upon entering you will be offered their freshly made candied pralines. They have all sorts of candies that are harder to get and ones they make. They make truffles, chocolate covered goods, gummies, gophers, caramel popcorn, brittles, and taffies. I've had their chocolate covered nut items and truffles and thought they were okay. Besides candies, they also have a wide variety of house made ice cream towards the back. I like coming to Savannah's to pick up gifts for friends and family back home. The staff working here are very very nice. They are super helpful and patient.

I've been visiting Nashville with family and my two nieces really wanted to visit this candy store. They had a blast! So many options and even items the adults can enjoy. There was a non stop line for the ice cream. My sister was really excited to get a candy apple to go and we asked the staff to please cut it for us. Upon getting back to our hotel later and eating it, we realized they sliced the apple but left the inner core. Not fun. It is clear the staff wasn't familiar with this or wasn't thinking that we wouldn't want to eat the inside. We had a great time- my only reason for leaving 4 stars is because they didn't cut our apple correctly.

Those sweet delicious and buttery pralines that are waiting for you when you walk in the store, the staff helps with providing samples. The selections of gummy candies and chocolates is a a fun treat to explore when in Nashville

Popcorn and cheese corn extremely salty and "slimy". Would not recommend coming for this. Lots of cross contact with peanuts on things.

How is the salt water taffy?

The Nashville location of the SCK has taffy that is old & flavorless. Having been to the location in Savannah I was hopeful but no, pass of the Nashville taffy.

What a cute shop! We went on a Saturday so we could do their chocolate tour. The guy who held the…read moretour (so sorry I forgot his name!) was very knowledgeable and knew his stuff! He obviously has been in the business a while. He made the tour easy to understand and walked us through the entire process. It's really awesome they make everything from scratch and using so few ingredients. You can really taste the quality of their chocolate. Sadly, they didn't have the grinding machines with the chocolate in them because they were out of the beans! They were having shipping issues with their stock. But we were able to taste a bit of everything they sold which was really cool. We picked up their dark and milk chocolate bar at the end of the tour. Highly recommend for a bit of fun!

I've been on a bit of a chocolate binge lately and decided to stop by Olive and Sinclair Chocolate…read morewhile we were in town. Per some sources, they are the first bean to bar chocolate maker in Tennessee, and they even offer weekly factory tours, although I wasn't able to make it in time for one. Olive and Sinclair has a relatively small retail area. They have all of their products on display and more importantly, have tons of samples! I ended up trying basically everything. The chocolatier doesn't advertise where they source their cocoa from but I asked an employee and she said they switch it up all the time. Apparently the current batch is from Peru, which gives the chocolate a pretty neutral taste at the start but then transitions to a kind of sharper dried fruit taste. They also sell several types of caramels. The Ghost Pepper Caramel starts with the caramel sweetness. It's only a second or two later that some heats starts to show up. I'm not sure how much ghost pepper they actually use; the heat is a bit more than just a warmth, but isn't nearly to the point of being painful. The heat lingers for quite a while, enough that I had to wait a good five minutes before trying another caramel! Interestingly I think this one has the "cleanest" caramel taste, at least at the start before the pepper kicks in! The Duck Fat Caramel has similar sweet undertones but adds on a really savory and almost meaty element on top. The Sea Salt & Vinegar Caramel has a light vinegar scent. It starts with sweetness and a light tang, but then the vinegar gets stronger. It never gets to the point of tasting like a vinaigrette, but is quite noticeable. To be honest, I'm not a fan of any of the caramels. They are certainly unique and nice to try though! I ended up picking some of their more intriguing products - the Bourbon Nib Brittle and the Smoked Nib Brittle - for gifts. From what I tried in store, they're both exactly as the names imply: super bourbon forward sweet candy, and a surprisingly intense smoky sweet. Yum! Olive and Sinclair Chocolate is definitely a place to pick up some unique local gifts! I wish I had made it in time for one of their tours.
