Our visit was pre COVID. Enjoy great outdoor patio. Beers were spot on. Will come back well worth a try. read more

Lots of open area. Pretty good atmosphere. Dog friendly. Service was good. The beer wasn't great though.

Local brewery near downtown with super relaxed atmosphere, great service, and home brewed beer! Must admit, pulling in was a little nerve racking. Old industrial building and no obvious signs. We knew we were at the right place because cars were parked everywhere. Walking towards building we finally saw a sign. Walked in and the place was alive! Recommend to all! Place is pet friendly and no one cares that your dog is under 21. **Two gripes** 1. hours of operations are horrible. Local breweries should be open at least til midnight (trust me, business will maintain:). 2. APPETIZERS!! Everytime we have hone in there they have someone selling nachos or something simple but we the people need appetizers to go with the delicious beer selection, period. Get more appetizers or figure out a way to include it on the already running tap. read more

Savannah River Brewing - Breweries Near Me - Augusta, Georgia

Great beer and absolutely fantastic service! The bartenders immediately made us feel like regulars.

Great atmosphere! Great setting! Great beer ! Friendly Staff! I would definitely recommend a trip to this downtown Augusta gem.

This place is exactly where you'd think a brewery would be. We went here on a Saturday afternoon and there was a pretty good crowd. You pay $15 "for the tour" which includes a choice of 3 different glass sizes with different number of pours you get. We got the smallest size which allowed 6 pours so we could taste every beer they had on tap that day. Coming from California, I've tried beer from a lot of new breweries. It's nice to come across one who has the money behind it and the knowledge to produce good beers. I was surprised to find that I enjoyed everything I tasted. I'm not usually a fan, but I think my favorite was the planet. Such good flavor I could drink a whole pint. We will definitely be returning! read more

Savannah River Brewing - Tasting glass with their pilsner for sipping - Breweries Near Me - Augusta, Georgia

Finding local brews is my mission. This is one of the two spots in the same area in downtown. We came here to check it out. I loved the samplers. The bartender helped me take my traditional pallets a bit further with fantastic brown ale and Belgian style white IPA. They are dog friendly. It's brownie points and we will be getting our baby here next time. They also have few board games. Thought they don't sell food, you can get your own. Next time I'm eating my dinner before venturing here. Great place, great beers, great service. read more

Savannah River Brewing - Enjoy the sampler! - Breweries Near Me - Augusta, Georgia

I love this spot. You always see a great, eclectic group of people hanging out here and both the customers (and their dogs) and bartenders are outgoing. They do have occasional events here, too, which is always nice. The spot is spacious and there is plenty of parking, although it has been tight sometimes. They have a small outdoor area and large doors they keep open when the weather is nice. They have a few games, too, like cornhole, and there are tons of tables and seating, but also a very spacious bar. As for their beers, they're excellent. Some I like more than others, but, overall, they're spot on and consistent. I normally go with one of their IPAs if I don't do a flight. If it's your first time here, definitely try a flight. read more

Gorgeous, friendly atmosphere and animal friendly! Really nice, spacious, and fun environment. Food truck outside for food and so cool to see the brewing through the windows to next door. read more

The beer was great, the food truck was amazing and the service was awesome. I have no complaints about this place at all. It was so fun inside with music and games. I will recommend this to everyone! read more

Augusta's best brewery! Lucky enough to get tix to the Masters 2 years in a row and was excited to get back to Savannah River. Great, laid back vibe! Lots of space (inside & out), great for large groups. A couple corn hole setups inside, as well as various other backyard type games. Fantastic service. Great beers. Super dog friendly. Small menu, but a couple tasty options. Very well priced! I will definitely be back. Drink local! read more

I've been to many many breweries and this is my favorite vibe in Augusta. Not only do they have amazing space the staff are super friendly. They host a lot of random events here and there such as Beer Yoga, trivia , and random food sponsors. I've been to the other brewery they have amazing beer but the space isn't as inviting as Savannah. read more

LOVE THIS PLACE. Moved to the area around 2 years ago and come to SRB allll the time. Amazing spot.

$3.14 beers! This place is one if my favorite spots now. The customers have increased and a great atmosphere for you to unwind and chill. They had grapefruit -strawberry so day that really hit the spot and my bartender was 100% on point with his service and recommendations for us as far as beers, which you can sample before you buy it. I see them sticking around Augusta for awhile. read more

This has been a review in the making since February. Savannah River Brewing is such a gem! I love the large open space and the fun atmosphere. We came with a large group to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were able to bring our own food and actually able to celebrate his birthday with his friends. The staff is friendly and the beer is on fire! read more

So fun! The employees were very nice and helped figure out what I like. I had the English Cherry Stout (I liked that better than the American) and the Savannah River IPA. There were so many dogs! And I love dogs!!! Definitely a good place to go whether you're visiting Augusta or just hanging out. I think there's a good culture here that's different from other breweries that I've been to. read more

Went here to visit with some friends while in the area. We enjoyed all the beers we tried. Wired Dynamite was my favorite and is exceptionally smooth and has great coffee notes. The have 6 packs you grab take home with you and small selection of appetizers/snacks to order from too. Staff was very friendly and establishment was well kept and clean. read more

What can I say? Best craft beer in Georgia. We've had our share up north and down here but this stuff is ALL good. The no jacket required is smooth and tasty. The IPAs are solid also one is an India pale ale quality. Prices are also very reasonable. Who needs bud when you have affordable craft beer made locally in Augusta? This is a brewery worth visiting. Also great to just get beer to go! read more

great beer and atmosphere AND DOGS! Outside area is a delight, too. Happy we made this last minute pit stop. read more

And this makes 2. So great to see the brewing scene come to Augusta. The more polished of the breweries, this large tasting area/bar (thanks to changes in laws you don't have to pretend to take a tour anymore) would definitely be a great place to hang with people on a nice afternoon. And the beers are good. My wife would be happy here, there is a better selection of more hoppy beers combined with more regular conventional beers, all of them left me satisfied. read more

Great place to take your dog to hang out and have a beer. They do have some snacks, like shareable meat and cheese trays. They also have a food truck that comes by a couple times a week. This place is good for just the atmosphere and beer. They do have a big screen to watch a game on. They also have indoor games like bags and putt golf. Now the beer! The Pilsner, swamp thing, Whitty Belgian and the dynamite coffee stout were our favorites. We got 2 flights and tasted most of the beers. We skipped the double ipa due to the group not being fans. The owner or manager was giving tours of the brewery when we arrived. The people who went on the tour seemed very interested in the brewery tour. Maybe something to try next visit. The customer service was good although slow because they were busy with only one bar tender at the time of our arrival. If you have a pooch and want a cool place to hang this is it! read more

Can we please just talk about the perfection of the coffee stout? The coffee stout at Savannah Brewery includes beans from Buona Caffe, which is a coffee shop and roastery in Augusta. Hands down, the best coffee stout I've ever tried. Immediately, you smell the amazing fragrance of coffee. The stout kind of tastes like nitro coffee, but with beer. Words can't describe how awesome it is, but trust me, it's fantastic! read more

Savannah River Brewing - Breweries Near Me - Augusta, Georgia

Compared to their neighbors down the road, Savannah River Brewing is huge. They have the basic lineup of five beers with a few specialty kegs being tapped now and then for events and holidays. What I like most about this place is the games - I turn into a five-year old when I drink, and I'm basically just looking for a playground. They have giant jenga, cornhole, a mini-putting green (with foam balls), and some board games. Like their neighbors, this brewery seems to be mostly staffed by family which is good to see. I've taken the tour twice and am pleased to report they were not just carbon copies of each other - our guide took us to new spots in the brewery each time and went with the flow of the questions. Very knowledgeable, if soft-spoken. Judging by the amount of tap handles on the wall and the empty space, both in the tasting room and the actual brewery, Savannah River clearly has intentions to grow. I think they will do very well. read more

A "tour" will Cost you $14 that comes with a glass. 3 sizes to choose from with the samples free as required by our archaic brew laws. The people are friendly and the inside is clean except for the bathrooms. The bathrooms were disgusting and we were the first patrons for the day. you get to keep the glass and it's a $1 off if you bring it back. As opposed to their competitor in town every beer they make is at least drinkable. Well worth a visit. read more

The beer "No jacket required" pilsner is approaching that Czech style Pilsner. It isn't as good as the Czech Pislner brewed in Czech Republic, but it is refreshing and decent. Most pilsners do not even come close to the real deal. This one is climbing that mountain. I like it. I like this brewery. Cheers! read more

The beer is good their selection is pretty decent. There is no food at this spot so it's all bring your own. They do however provide a small cheese sausage platter that is still in the box from Boars Head. This is a dog friendly spot, however...the floors look like they never get cleaned. There is so much dog hair inside you'd think they shaved a Polar beer inside. They also do Beer Yoga on Saturday mornings on those same floors. read more

Great vibe...kids and dogs allowed, corn hole, video games, giant Jenga. Choose from a variety of beer styles. I had the stout, but most of our party enjoyed the IPA. Limited food choices, but you can bring in your own. We stayed inside due to the chill outside, but looks like a great outdoor space. read more

Love love love this brewery! Big open space with a projector for football games, 2 giant jenga games, corn hole, board games, and outdoor seating. The first thing I think of when I walk in is crisp fun space. The beer is great and they always have something special on tap. Make sure you join their facebook page to see what fun events they have planned! If you have family in town or have a big group, definitely make Savannah River Brewery part of your plans! read more

Coming from Colorado, a brewery haven, we didn't expect to find a top notch brewery in Augusta. We were wrong! SRB has a great selection for beers and the quality is definitely top notch! The venue is also really cool; an older industrial building converted with a massive wood top bar, indoor and outdoor seating where games abound. You gotta try it out! read more

Good beer, great atmosphere, and staff is friendly and welcoming. It's a most go. The nitro stout is great!!

Great beer. Wife had the sour and bought a six pack to take with her. I had the porter and it was very good. Bought a sixpa k,of their brown ale and have since drank it and it was outstanding! read more

I'm so happy Augusta finally has a brewery such as the Savannah River Brewing Co. The beers are actually delicious. I suggest you start with a flight if you're not familiar with their beers. My favorite was the English Bitters. If you like Tropicali, their seasonal IPA with mango tastes very similar. They just don't offer it enough! And the Coffee Ale is so delicious it might make you want to drink it for breakfast each morning. Atmosphere is okay... warehouse with lots of room. Games available. Yoga now available on Saturdays. read more

Trivia is fun, different format than what I'm used to, but easy to learn the system. Loses stars due to bar service. Stood at the "order here" spot for ten minutes, no one in front of me. While I stood there, five other people came up to the bar after me (and stood on either side of me) and were served before I was. I eventually gave up. Guess I need to bring an aggressive male with me next time. read more
