Ambience. A Service. A…read moreFood/ Drinks. A Price. B ($$) Tonight, I am officially a FAANN! Liking the new kid on the BBQ block--Bradley's BBQ, opened summer 2026! The pulled pork? Nicely smoked, moist, and full of flavor. The hearty hash & rice was a YES for me, and the collards--with those pesky stems cut away--were tender and delicious. And the mac & cheese? Cheesy, comforting, and served with those fun curly noodles. Moshii approves! ‍ But what really caught my eye is the history behind the place. Bradley's has taken over the old historic Shinshune Bakery building and thoughtfully incorporated reclaimed materials throughout. Even the rather... uncomfortable pews came from an 1800s Presbyterian church! The tables are made from wood beams from Richmond Academy. How cool is THAT? I love seeing a new restaurant not only feed people but also reuse, recycle, and preserve pieces of Augusta history. There's a story in the walls, tables, and pews--and now there's BBQ on the plate! Yes, there's a bit of self-service involved, so you'll be doing some of the work yourself. Alright by me. I came hungry, not expecting a white-glove experience! Tonight, I'm a FAN... a BBQ FAANN!
