Great service, fast service, professional on time , but prices are very ridiculous. I feel I've been robbed s

To say these guys are a rip off would be the understatement of the century. I had a burst hot water pipe in one of my bathrooms on a day that we were having a family crisis, and our normal plumber was not available at such short notice on a Saturday. My wife got these guy's number from a friend and the good part is a plumber showed up in about an hour, but the bad news was he originally quoted me $650 to do the job, that literally I could've done myself with a $10 trip to the hardware store. When I got irate with the price quote, he called his boss and magically the price went down to $300, which was still a rip off but because I was in the midst of a family crisis I paid it. It took him all of 15 minutes to fix the problem. read more

Gary helped us out of a bind with an old, malfunctioning toilet at 9:30PM, the night before we were to have house guests. He even fixed the bigger problem after fixing what we thought was the original issue. I really thought it'd be unlikely to have someone show up the next morning on such short notice so I was stunned I was able to get service on the same evening. He was professional, efficient, friendly and worked clean. Worth every penny. read more

I reached out to Sav-On plumbing through Yelp as well as 4 other companies. It was pretty well into the evening, so I wasn't expecting to hear back from anyone until the next day. Gary reached out to me not even 5 minutes after I sent out the request. We set up a time for the following day and he arrived right on schedule. He was able to diagnose the problem, figure out a solution, and provide a quote right on the spot. His pricing is fair, and the quality of his work is top notch. Gary is trustworthy and Will be my first and only call the next time we're having plumbing issues. Highly recommended! read more

If I could give 10 stars to this company I would. It was such a PLEASURE working with Gary especially from the second we spoke on the phone. He picked up the phone right away & I told him a few units in a commercial property were experiencing issues with the toilets not draining and flooding in the kitchen sinks. He asked a few questions to get a better understanding of what is going on and scheduled me right away. Didn't even wait for me to ask him. When he came out his professionalism & knowledge about the whole situation made me trust him even more. He had his team come out about 30 minutes later and they got to work right away. He felt that the other units might be experiencing issues as well so he offered to inspect those units with no additional cost and to our surprise at least 3 more units needed to be taken care of and Gary did JUST THAT all while keeping his energy super positive. Thanks for being so awesome and on top of your game Gary! I will definitely recommend him in the future. read more

Recently contacted Sav-on to look at my water heater which cracked and started leaking. Like what the other reviewers said, they're quick to respond. Gary came by and asked where the crack was. Told him maybe from the bottom because that's where the water had accumulated. But I was not 100% sure. I had drained the tank, cleaned the area, shut off the water and gas supply. He said that if it's from the bottom, it will typically have to be replaced. Trusting this guy, I went ahead and had him replace the water heater as I need the hot water to get ready for work. I had two issues: 1) this guy didn't even try to find the actual source of the leak . He said that since I got a 10-yr old tank which is rated for 6 to 8 years. It's time to replace especially that I got extra 2 years out of it. I googled and read that depending on where the crack is and how bad, it may be repaired. 2) Gary also suggested replacing one of the earthquake brace straps for $450 since I went from my old 40 gallon to the new 50 gallon, old strap on the top will no longer fit. Told him I'll do it myself. When I looked at the brace after he left, guess what... I was able adjust the brace strap to MAGICALLY fit. Really? Do I really have to pay you $450 to re-open the strap and wrap the new water heater with it? If Gary took the time to look and open the strap like an honest technician would, he would have found that it fits perfectly. Instead, he saw this as another opportunity to get more money! So what do these tell you? Watch these guys...Gary will try to sell you extra shit you can do yourself. Ain't gonna call this company for future plumbing repair needs nor refer him to my neighbors. It also makes me wonder if their perfect 5-stars are real. read more
