Plus, since Covid, we hadn't had our house professionally cleaned. It was long overdue. The crew did a really excellent job of getting this place thoroughly clean. I can even say that it was absolutely the best cleaning we've EVER gotten from a company. I am a disabled Veteran, and cleaning this house on my own is just impossible. They accommodated us last minute which was VERY appreciated, and they really did an amazing job of cleaning. That being said, there were a few major points that were less than satisfactory. First, I had to put several things back in order. The upstairs bathroom shower curtain had a few hooks hanging off of the pole, area rugs out of place, but mainly, the living room. The furniture was moved around for cleaning and not put back even close to what it should look like. For example, the coffee table was all the way to the fireplace, nearly 5 ft away from the couch, where it lives, the chairs and end tables were also very out of place. I had to push everything back into place myself. As I said, I am a disabled Veteran, and this was more than an inconvenience. While I appreciate them moving everything, and while i do expect things to be slightly out of order, this was EXTREMELY out of place. Additionally, a cat toy had gotten sucked into the vacuum pole and the lady began banging the metal pole on our newly refinished hardwood floors. Thankfully, my husband heard them, stopped them, and grabbed a needle nose pliers to remove the toy. No damage done to the floor. Finally, and this one is the biggest deal really - there are scratches on our brand new black stainless steel refrigerator! UGH!!!! I do wish I had taken pictures of everything, but I didn't see it as a huge deal... until I saw the scratches. I've attached a pic of that (as best as I could get with a cell phone and flash on reflective material). There is a dent on the frig (which we did in the first month of ownership), but you can tell from the pics, there are no scratches anywhere.... accept for the corner, left by the cleaning service. They must've hit the side of the frig, when moving the bread maker or knife set located on the side counter. Overall, they were too aggressive with my things. I contacted the company immediately, and while I did receive a response, they've done nothing to try and repair it or cover damages. I have contacted them twice, with no resolve, and no answer. It's a shame, because they truly would've been our forever company, for both my house as well as my sisters, had they done something to help fix this.

Then she left. Picked them up 2hrs later. Paid $160. Gave them a tip. Well, I guess I should have inspected the job but when they were picked up by the supervisor she had them out the door real fast. I asked to have my kitchen floor steamed cleaned. Supervisor said they used sponges instead. Really? I asked them to clean my ceiling fan and somehow the light bulb was removed and sitting on my table. I had to replace it. They were told to wipe down the outside of fridge but not to touch the inside. When I opened the fridge door, they left a filthy rag in there. Yes, they come with old dirty rags. I was so grossed out. The worst part-they broke my faucet and didn't tell me. They left the broken pc by my soap dish. Mike said he'd come fix it. He didn't. Now I have to replace the faucet and pay a plumber to it. The cleaning solution they used was fabuloso. The stuff stinks. They even wiped out my glass pitcher with it. Who does that? I put it right into the dishwasher. Never ever again will these people enter my house in the future. NEVER!!

After interviewing several cleaning services, I chose Dakin Spotless Cleaning, largely because of the owner, Shelly. She was professional, attentive, thorough, and punctual from our very first conversation. She came out for a site visit, confirmed the requirements in person, and gave me upfront pricing -- no website forms, just a straightforward conversation with someone who actually understood the job. Her team tackled every nook and cranny of a 40-foot trailer. Dust was caked on above the furniture, and the vent covers had years of grime on them -- now they're sparkling. They even cleaned inside the air vents themselves. It was not an easy job, but they took it on without hesitation and did a fantastic job. Shelly's follow-up was excellent too -- when I asked her to take a second look at a spot, she and her team came right back and went above and beyond what I'd asked for. The trailer is spotless now, and I'm genuinely impressed. I'll admit I'm not an easy customer -- I have high expectations, and Dakin Spotless Cleaning managed to exceed my expectations. If you need a deep clean done right, call Shelly. I'd recommend them for any job, big or small.

Today they came while we were at work and oh my goodness, talk about an overhaul!! This apartment is dust free and cleaner than I have ever seen it. I literally walked in about 10 minutes ago and had to post this review immediately. The bathroom is spotless and smells so clean. The bedroom is also extremely clean. They even changed linens! Don't get me started on the kitchen... they are miracle workers!! Jake texted me to confirm he had arrived and texted me when he left. He even followed up with me later. I cannot say enough good things about Rapid Restoration in Plainview. After a broken central air…read moreconditioning unit in my attic caused a major flood in my home, I had no idea who to call or who I could trust. There are a lot of restoration companies out there, and in a very stressful situation, I feel extremely fortunate that I chose Rapid Restoration. They responded within just a couple of hours of my initial call, immediately stopped the damage from getting worse, and began drying out my home to prevent mold and further problems. From there, they handled everything. They removed all of the water-damaged materials and then rebuilt my home beautifully--ceilings, walls, insulation, electrical work, painting, flooring, and more. It truly was a one-stop shop, and the finished work was actually better than what I had before the flood. A special thank you goes to Mike, the foreman who oversaw the entire project. Mike was outstanding from beginning to end. He stayed in constant contact with me, often speaking with me every day, worked tirelessly to keep the job moving, and made sure everything was completed properly and on time. He was professional, responsive, knowledgeable, and clearly took personal pride in the quality of the work. At every stage, I felt like Mike was personally invested not only in the project, but in making sure I was happy and that as much stress as possible was taken off my shoulders. The entire Rapid Restoration team treated my home and belongings with tremendous care. They carefully covered and moved my personal property to make sure nothing was damaged, and they cleaned up at the end of each day as though they were working in their own homes. Even though Rapid Restoration is a large company with multiple crews and specialists, they never lost the personal touch. Even the owner of the company called me periodically to provide updates and make sure I was being taken care of on every level. They also went far beyond the physical restoration of my home. They helped take the burden of dealing with the insurance company off my shoulders by assisting with estimates, photographs, documentation, paperwork, and securing payment for the work. That was an enormous help during an already overwhelming situation. What impressed me most was that Rapid Restoration clearly takes pride in its work and operates with integrity. They are professional, ethical, responsive, and committed to doing things the right way. You can tell that they have a strong set of core values and that customer satisfaction genuinely matters to them. When this happened, I did not know who to trust. I got lucky and picked the right company. If you ever find yourself needing emergency water damage restoration or home repairs, I would recommend Rapid Restoration without hesitation. They turned what could have been a nightmare into a manageable process and restored my home beautifully.
