Convenient to my job in RTP & in Brier Creek. Scheduling was easy; however, I had to schedule something two weeks out. WakeMed has a fantastic website where you can make appointments, message your doctor, review medical history, order refills, & send a private message to your doctor. You're also able to complete forms there, which is what I did for my appointment. Check-in was quick. I waited for about 5 minutes past my scheduled appointment time & the Tamesha, a medical assistant came to get me from the lobby. She was very sweet & friendly & was quick during my "pre-screen/check-in" process. I waited for about 20 minutes for my doctor, which I didn't really like, but they were busy, so I was OK. Dr. Rooker came in & she is bubbly & friendly. I adore her! We chatted like old friends. I really feel comfortable with her & she has good bedside manner. She didn't rush my visit either. I'm really happy with this medical practice.

The staff here is always so pleasant and welcoming from the front desk to the nurses and providers, everyone treats you with kindness and respect. One thing I really appreciate is how efficient they are. I've never waited more than 5 minutes after checking in for my appointment. They run like clockwork, and it makes visits stress-free and smooth. Having the lab right on site is also a huge plus no need to drive elsewhere. My test results always go directly to my Duke MyChart, which makes it easy to stay on top of everything. Truly grateful to have such a dependable, professional, and friendly care team. We waited for 30 minutes and were seen by someone at AFC Urgent Care, not sure if she was a Dr or PA or nurse - she asked about symptoms. She barely pushed on his right side no gloves and announced that they were unable to go further as they didn't have a CT machine and she was required to refer us to the ER. After waiting at the ER for 4 hours, he had a CT scan and were referred to the pediatric ER. The bills of all these visits are piling up. I called AFC with this suggestion: Anyone at AFC could have explained at reception that they could not diagnose ANY appendicitis like symptoms and we could have saved $100 on our copay. They said a medical professional has to do that - so wanted everyone else to be aware of this highway robbery.

I came across Avance while doing a Google search within the Briar Creek area. Reviews boasted about evening and weekend availability which is scarce here in Raleigh. Since relocating from New York in 2020 I learned that many providers only offer weekday appointments which are always during the work day for me. Avance offers patients convenience and that is priority for me. I scheduled my appointment online with Dr. Batouli and was able to get a morning appointment within the same week for a annual physical. The receptionist answered questions by phone before visiting and upon arrival I checked in quickly and was taken for weight and vitals. No wait at all. I met with Dr. Batouli who did a comprehensive assessment/ questionnaire, we discussed annual screenings and my medical history. Completing blood work here was a dream ! The young lady I met was so kind and so quick ! She did not struggle with my teeny tiny veins at all. The facility is clean, spacious and modern. They offer womens health services as well. I would recommend this practice to anyone in the area. They're excellent.

Was looking for a DO (Osteopathic) doctor for an alternative view of health care. The front office staff were great and worked to fit me in last minute with Dr. Notaro due to a scheduling mishap on my part. The patient portal allows you to upload documents you want to share with the physician, however, it seems to only be allowed if you are either making an appointment or have an existing one. The lobby was smaller than you'd usually find at a physician's office but the wait was minimal. Dr. Notaro was very patient knowing it was my first time with a DO and not knowing what to expect. She gave me her background and listened to my concerns. I never felt like she was anxious to move to the next patient and felt comfortable talking with her. I can't speak for any other physician, but Dr Notaro and the front office staff were great and I would highly recommend them.

The doctor and I use that term loosely, sees you for 7 minutes exactly. Within that time they submit a 20 page document with several false diagnosis and the form looks like it is copied for every patient. They ask you nothing about your history. They refer you out to many different doctors in their network for more $$$$ it is a scam.
