They check almost everything so your appointment is about 2 hours and they only see 10-15 patients a day. During my visit things seemed to go fine but when I spoke with the doctor I just didn't feel overly confident. I do not think he wasn't qualified I just didn't get that feeling you like to have with a doctor that they know everything. Maybe a better way to say it is I felt he was book smart but maybe not the best at conveying that info to the patient. What made it worse is after my appointment I was sent a prescription and then I received different information about the prescription from the office. I had to call to ask some questions and one day I was told one thing and the next something else. Again just didn't get that easy feeling I wanted. Plus they are somewhat slow to call back. To sum up I don't feel I have be adversely affected since I was going for a physical but chances are I'll go get another at a different doctor.

Convenient to my job in RTP & in Brier Creek. Scheduling was easy; however, I had to schedule something two weeks out. WakeMed has a fantastic website where you can make appointments, message your doctor, review medical history, order refills, & send a private message to your doctor. You're also able to complete forms there, which is what I did for my appointment. Check-in was quick. I waited for about 5 minutes past my scheduled appointment time & the Tamesha, a medical assistant came to get me from the lobby. She was very sweet & friendly & was quick during my "pre-screen/check-in" process. I waited for about 20 minutes for my doctor, which I didn't really like, but they were busy, so I was OK. Dr. Rooker came in & she is bubbly & friendly. I adore her! We chatted like old friends. I really feel comfortable with her & she has good bedside manner. She didn't rush my visit either. The front desk staff is excellent and the nurses make things a breeze. My daughter just had her 11 year old vaccines and it went smoothly. The only thing I would change is the parking. The parking is shared with all the other medical offices in this plaza making it a nightmare.
