FYI: I have nothing to compare this experience to as I have never had a massage before. We had a scheduled appointment and were contact efore the appointment to re-schedule which was really easy- no problems like reviews I read. There is no sign out front and this is a residential neighborhood run out of someones house. We did not receive instructions of how to get to the pool house spa so just heads up enter to the small fence to the left of the house. You will then see the pool/spa house. We were very nicely greeted by the owner who does facials and the masseuse. They gave us instructions and the massages began. This was a couples massage for our honeymoon. While I was getting a massage my husband received a facial then vice versa. I became immediately relaxed and started breathing like I have never done before. I couldn't stop! She kept hitting some spots that made me do it! I did nod off a few times (drinking the night before and staying up late a few night in a row could have affected that.) I can say there was honey on our face (as a treatment) and we were totally slippery upon leaving but relaxed! They did a really nice job. I will begin my review with saying, Miranda knows her stuff! I have been going to her since she opened a spot on Broughton street a few years back. I love the way my skin feels after each session. I have given my close family and friends gift certificates to Satoris services, why? Because we can all use a little relaxation. Their new location is phenomenal, the view of the Savannah River adds to the serene and calm feel of the place. Another thing I love about this company is their products, their handmade all natural products work wonders on my skin. I have had the indulgence facial, body wrap and couples massage. None have disappointed. For Valentines Day i decided to surprise my husband with a couples massage, he was a little reluctant but still went. Within 3 minutes or our session, I could hear him snoring. He was out cold, needless to stay he loved it too :) read more

I can't even begin to rate my level of stress when I walked through the door and met Miranda. Her studio alone makes you feel better, she asks you what your hoping to get for your appointment. I usually have a very hard time relaxing, but by the end of my appointment I never remember feeling so wonderful. This review is for their customer service. If i could rate a 0 I would have. I bought a Groupon for $70 in December and was never able to book an appointment in 1 month. The lady who picked up the phone- I guess the owner, had me on voicemail the whole month, she returned to my call once and had me for 1 appointment. An emergency happened a few hours that appointment and when I asked her if I was able to reschedule it, she said she would be happy to and she would let me know when. I waited for 1 week, she never called or texted, or I texted her again. She replied 3 days after said she was busy. Then she kept cancelling with numerous reasons. I get that it was December, it was holiday season, but I waited for 1 month and she never called me again, she replied to my text every 3-4 days just to cancel and postpone the appointment. I was so pissed because she said she would contact me later and later for 2 month. How am i supposed to make an appointment if the owner won't reply to her voicemail or her text messages? When I told her if she wouldn't schedule me an appointment after 1 month I would write a bad review for her, she replied right away with a very rude attitude said that she had been busy and it was my fault I cancelled the first one. REALLY? She told me she was fine with it and she would reschedule me but she never did and I WAITED FOR 2 MONTH. I did not even text her every day, i texted her every 4-5 days in a really nice way. The purpose of this was for me and my friend to relax after 1 stressful semester but dealing with her was so frustrated. It only takes 2 hours for 1 appointment why is it so hard to schedule one? I had to call Groupon and canceled the coupon, they were the people that advised me to write this review and I've been so busy with school that it took me this long to write on. 5 months after and I am still upset at her for being so rude. I guess the service is good but the customer service is the worst of all. So if anyone plan to come here and get sent straight to her voicemail 2 times or does not get a reply from her for 2 days, just know that you are about to experience what I went through. I would never recommend this to anyone. *updated after your reply: I'm really glad that you now have free times to argue with your customers right now, I hope you have replied to all of your voicemail and texts. You have NEVER TOLD ME about your 24 hours policy, you could have been more clear. If you had told me about it why would I have wasted my times on talking to you? Do not try to blame it on me right now it was a long process it was not just me being rude on January 2nd and you was busy. You said your daughter was sick over and over again, now you said it's your family vacations, LIAR! IT WAS YOU BEING RUDE AND IGNORED ME FOR WEEKS. And the reason why I had to send that last text was because you IGNORED my text for too long, too long, if you could have just said, hey I'm busy I will schedule you maybe next month or something I would not have to wait. And what did i say that make you call me rude? You were rude too, blamed it on me then i never heard back from you. That was the only time you responded to my text that quick when I said I was gonna bring it only. Ridiculous. It was not just that Christmas break, it was a whole month! You kept ignoring and postponing. YOU NEVER TOLD ME TO GET REFUNDED, i had to call Groupon and they told me to refund, you IGNORED me most of the times. They told me I should leave a review about your business because you were so rude but I couldnt until now because I was busy with school. You are the worse person in this industry, ignored my texts for 1 month then replied my comment here within 12 hours, there are comments of people on Groupon about this problem too, during that time i woke up every day wondering if you had booked me a new appointment yet. You hurt me and my friends feelings over and over again. I wish you could be in our positions when you ignored us that long like that. You definitely need to ANSWER your texts and calls. I wish I went on facebook and read the review before purchased the coupon! read more

Absolutely horrible customer service.... totally unprofessional. DO NOT PAY THIS WOMAN FOR A SERVICE BEFORE YOU HAVE YOUR APPOINTMENT... YOU WILL HAVE TO FIGHT TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK!!! When searching Yelp I discovered ANOTHER customer who had to go through almost the same exact thing! Bought a $200 Groupon for a couples massage for vacation. Scheduled the massage via phone on a Tuesday with Miranda who said she would send me a text verification that day. We made the appointment for a Friday at 4pm. I never received the confirmation text but gave her the benefit of a doubt. Thursday I called to make sure we were still on. I had to leave a message and she got back to me hours later saying we were still scheduled and she would text me after we got off the phone the location. We received the text that evening. The next day was our appointment..... a HALF HOUR BEFORE OUR APPOINTMENT I received a TEXT MESSAGE saying she had to reschedule us because she didn't realize her other therapist was so sick she could not continue working that day. I get it.... stuff happens but seriously? A text? I tried to call her and she didn't answer.... she called back 15 minutes later to say she apologizes and wanted to know if we could get in on Sunday. I reiterated to her that we were on vacation and Sunday was our last day... we already had plans and wanted to know if there was anyway to get us in on Saturday. She said she did not have any availability. I then asked what times she had available on Sunday and she gave me two times... I told her we would get back to her that night and she said she would hold those two times for us. I got back to her 3 hours later to ask if she had anything after 12 and we could probably work something out.... she never responded. At 10am the next morning I found out we could rearrange our schedule and told her we could make the noon appointment. I never heard anything and called that afternoon... I left a message and she never got back to me. At 7pm that night I sent her another text saying that I haven't heard anything from her and since she said she would be holding that spot for us, unless I heard something she would see us at noon. At 9 pm she responded with: "Sorry it's been a crazy day of appointments...my massage therapist officially has the flu so she still won't be available tomorrow:( I've been reaching out to some of my backups to try to make things work for yall and I'm still waiting to hear back from my favorite so I sincerely apologize for all of this, I will let you know first thing in the morning once I hear back from her." So you are SO busy all day with SO many appointments you couldn't make a phone call and update us so maybe we can make other plans???.... so at 10am I had to TEXT HER to ask what was going on..... 10am is NOT first thing in the morning especially when we are trying to plan our last day of vacation. At 1040 she gets back to me with a text that states "I just got her text back and unfortunately she isn't able to today." That is the last contact with her... no apology, nothing to help get my $200 back I have already spent... nothing offered like maybe getting just one of us in for a massage. HOW DOES THIS WOMAN RUN A BUSINESS PRIMARILY BASED ON CUSTOMER SERVICE? SHE IS THE WORST BUSINESS OWNER I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. Does she realize that I picked HER service out of numerous options and all she did was run me through the ringer? We could have scheduled with any of the other spas if we had been told the truth ahead of time instead of the fact that she was working on getting us in only to cancel an hour before scheduled. I MOVED MY VACATION PLANS FOR HER... I PAID $200 TO HAVE MY VACATION PLANS MOVED AROUND HER SCHEDULE AND TIME and she seems totally and utterly dumb to that fact. The only reason we even kept the Sunday appointment after being repeated ignored is because I had already spent the money and didn't want to have to deal with getting it back.... this was supposed to be a fun and relaxing activity and both of us stated that it turned into more of a job and worry trying to get in there than we wanted to deal with. I then had to fight Groupon to get my money back. I made her aware of the situation but she never got back to me on that either. As a side note, Groupon gives you "Groupon bucks" if you need a refund after it has been 3 days since a Groupon has been bought... She was also made aware of this because I wanted to get my money back (not $200 in groupon credit) and they said they would have to speak with her to verify my story.... she didn't respond to that either.... I finally received my money back 4 days later. DO NOT GO HERE. She does not care about her clients and what they do for her.... she is selfish and only cares about herself. These ladies work magic! I have had a lot of massages, but I would have to say this is hands down the best massage and facial I've ever had. They are very warm and welcoming. Their studio is so cozy and comfortable. The decor is elegant and chic. When you come in they take you into a private sitting room and offer you champagne and tea. I didn't feel rushed, and was immediately relaxed when we walked in. They let you take your time getting into a good mindset while you relax on the couch and enjoy your tea. The massage room was very comfortable. Lighting and music was at just the right levels. Their massage tables were so buttery. I love how they have thick blankets on their tables. Sometimes I find myself getting too cold with just a sheet. They really make their customers feel warm, welcomed, and at ease. I would highly recommend them! I absolutely loved this place!! My boyfriend and I went for their Couples Indulgence package. We both enjoyed facials, full body massages, and champagne. Both of them are extremely kind and professional. Miranda did such a great job on the facials. It is totally personalized so she based the treatment off my skin care needs. The massage therapist was a wonder!!! She really focuses on what you need; what level of pressure you want, and what you hope to accomplish. She also incorporates deep stretches into the end of the massage if necessary. I wish that I actually lived in Savannah because we would come back for sure. Probably too often :-) read more

I cannot say enough great things about the ladies at Satori!! My husband and I just did the couples massage and facial and it was pure bliss! My husband is a big, muscular guy, and he is my litmus test for a good massage, since it is so hard for him to get a decent one. After his massage he declared it was top notch - WAY BETTER than the couples massage we just recently got at the Grove Park Spa in Asheville. I was just as thrilled with my massage as he was. Our facials did not disappoint either!! They use cruelty free products made in house that smell amazing!! This is officially my new favorite spa and we WILL be coming back. She makes her own all natural products which are amazing. I felt so relaxed after my facial & my skin was so soft & beautiful. I purchased the Couple's Indulgence Experience Facial and Massage Package Groupon for my husband and I. Miranda was easy to reach via text and quickly set up an appointment for a Saturday afternoon. The studio is tucked away inside a boutique, but don't let that deter you...the whole experience was fantastic! We started off with champagne and strawberries while watching the boats on the river. Then Miranda did my husband's facial while Lori gave me my massage. After a quick washing up, they switched places without either of us having to move a muscle. This was my husband's first facial and he didn't know what to expect. Miranda was very professional and did a fantastic job--both he and I loved it! My partner Cody and I visited Savannah in August and I wanted to surprise him with a relaxing spa day, as we both are finishing our programs of study and it can be very grueling at times. I would like to preface this with the fact that my partner had never had a facial before and also gets a little nervous when trying new things. Miranda and Lori completely put him at ease. From the very beginning, both Miranda and Lori were extremely accommodating. When I called and mentioned their Groupon promotion, Miranda made us an appointment and said there was no need to purchase the Groupon and that she would give us the reduced rate anyway so as to avoid paying until after our services. Upon arrival of our couples massage and facial, we were given champagne to relax in their adorable sitting room. The entire process could not have gone any more smoothly. Lori's massage was one of, if not the best, massages I have ever had, and I used to work at a Massage envy. The facial was phenomenal, with Miranda using essential oil blends and lotions she makes herself. We left feeling entirely relaxed and rejuvenated, and our skin had never looked better. Needless to say we will definitely come back to visit these lovely ladies again and we will be purchasing some of Miranda's products through their website as well.
