Yes, yes, inflation....but $5 for a small basket of fruit or veg??? Not even organic! Some stalls did boast organic and their prices weee a bit higher. I didn't find anything I couldn't live without so, sadly, I took my empty shopping bag and moved on. (sigh)

There's multiple tents and vendors selling fruits, vegetables, flowers, homemade goods and food. Definitely a great addition to this space! Looking forward to coming here on Saturdays from 8am-2pm! I've witnessed their unexplained hostility to customers, even if they are polite or haven't done anything to deserve it. The sellers make demands such as exact change, people have to stand in a certain area, or that customers can't pick their own carton. If you don't obey, they "punish" the customers which is petty and unprofessional. I don't know why the Gean family would tolerate this kind of behavior from individuals who are handling and marketing their hard-grown products. It's awful and goes against their "family values," which they are often proud to advertise.

They genuinely care about their customers and stand behind their products. Their eggs are local, high quality, and incredibly reasonably priced for what you're getting. The produce is always fresh, and their customer service is exceptional. They once gave us a rue plant that wasn't looking its best, and today it's absolutely thriving. Another thing we love is their beautiful sunflower bouquets. They're only $5 a bunch, which is already a great deal. Even better, if you stop by near closing and the sunflowers are fully opened and at the end of their display life, they'll often give them away for free rather than let them go to waste. The produce is fresher, the color is more vivid, cleaner and again the size is a big difference. I mean $5 for 5 avocados for the size of my hand. Hands down better quality!
