Most of the goods are from Oxnard and not a random town thats hours away like other markets. The artisans are all pretty friendly and happy that you're there. I really enjoyed the vibe and how pleasant everyone was. Plenty of parking and a lot of vendors accept different payment methods. I recommend coming here and getting a snack if you are going on any of the local boat tours to the islands.

There are rows of spots in their harbor parking lot but also some street parking. It's free entrance and you are welcome to come in and out of the market. This is why I appreciate Ventura County, no fees! This farmers market is a pretty good size with so many vendors ranging from produce, home goods, frozen foods, clothing and ready made and to go food stalls. This market really has everything and is highlighting some of the best local small businesses in the 805. Saw many familiar faces but also some new booths that I was able to support. Bought fruit and pastries for days (dangerous) because everything looked so good. Prices seemed reasonable enough to be. You are buying straight from the vendor so you cut out the middle men. I love the cooked ready to eat food options at this market. My local one only has a tamale guy but here they had that and another 10 vendors of ready to grab bites. I definitely snuck away with some pupusas and a refreshing strawberry lemonade. Now one of my favorite farmers markets - you'll catch me here much more often. Happy Sunday yall.

There's multiple tents and vendors selling fruits, vegetables, flowers, homemade goods and food. Definitely a great addition to this space! Looking forward to coming here on Saturdays from 8am-2pm! They also have two entrances off the busy back round drag that I've found it easy to pop in here. Ample parking on their lot in front of the stand. I come at off hours and get right in and out. They take cash and card here no issue. Definitely an easy stop for your fruits, veggies, firewood and flowers. Staff here are super nice and welcoming, always a good vibe. I stopped by this evening to grab two bundles of sunflowers. They were gorgeous and only $5 for a bundle of about 4 or so. Bought two bundles which made for a lovely display. I also appreciate that after you purchase your flowers here you can get the long stems cut at the secondary register. Great find and I hope you'll come support this local stand.

It is exactly as it sounds. I am not sure it even has a real name but it is a permanent fruit stand outside of Oxnard and known to every cycling organization in this area of Los Angeles. The man who is a permanent fixture behind the counter always has a smile and some samples of fresh, red ripe strawberries for any cyclists who come down the road and stop at his little stand to buy a few drinks and some fruit to refuel. He welcomes us to take advantage of a bit of shade and some chairs for rest before making the trek back to wherever their journey began. I can't say I even know his name, but he is extremely kind and offers cold beverages and fruit at rock bottom prices. There is a restroom inside the building next to the stand. There is usually a guy sitting on the front porch there and an old dog who sleeps on the sofa inside. That dog never budges with the many people who come in and out. There are photos of cyclists on the walls of his stand and he takes pictures of any of the large groups that come through. Strawberry Stand, I will be back! Thanks for all the hospitality!

I ended up driving to the Red Barn stand and the strawberries there were excellent.
