It took quite a while, and the wings came out soggy and cold, which is not the norm. A thunderstorm was coming in, and we had been waiting on our donuts for at least 20 minutes at this point. My husband informed the hostess that we would have to either cancel the order or move inside since it was about to start raining. She flippantly said that she would have to ask the manager first if we were allowed inside. I waited over 30 minutes, and during that time I even tried to get the hostess's attention a few times just to check on the status of my order. While waiting, I asked two other employees for recommendations, and interestingly, they both suggested the same roll I ordered. One of the servers even came over and mentioned that the roll takes longer because it's cooked--which I appreciated--but that also raised my expectations that it would come out fresh and hot. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. After the hostess (who wasn't busy) finally grabbed my order, I got to my car and tried it--and it was lukewarm. Not cold, but definitely not what you'd expect after that kind of wait. The frustrating part is that the roll actually had a lot of potential. It was packed with crawfish and had good flavor, so I can see why it's recommended. Overall, the food has promise, but the service and execution need improvement.
