I've been consistently impressed by the speed at other 7 Brew locations, and this one kept the streak alive--even though it had only been open for about two weeks when I visited. That's no small feat. Organized chaos is clearly part of the brand. The setup is simple and efficient: two drive-thru lines, with a staff member walking up to your car to take your order on a tablet. Signing up for their loyalty program is ridiculously easy--just give them your phone number and boom, you're earning points before your engine cools down. Now let's talk about the menu... because "big" doesn't quite cover it. It looks manageable when you scan the QR code in line, but don't be fooled--there's an entire caffeine multiverse hiding behind that screen. And yes, there's a "Secret Menu" that's about as secret as a marching band. You'll want to check that out online before you roll up. Once you order and pay (card, tap, whatever your style), you pull forward to the next station. From there, it's a short wait--and by "short," I mean I've never waited more than about three minutes for my drink. That's borderline magical in coffee time. The staff deserves a shoutout. These folks are dialed in. Everyone seemed upbeat, engaged, and genuinely happy to be there--which is not something you can fake in a fast-paced drive-thru environment. Between the order-takers and the 6-8 people hustling behind the scenes making drinks and running them out, the whole operation hums like a well-tuned engine. And yes--I freaking love 7 Brew. And....politeness, helpfulness, and efficiency of counter/wait staff is exemplary. The store is definitely a throw-back to another time (sadly missing in many of today's quick in - quick out - "grab and go" establishments.) The food is good and reasonably priced. (They even offered to make a smaller portion for my partner and charged half price (even though we offered to pay full amount.. Now, that's courtesy!) My companion's Cherry Ice Cream Soda looked amazing....(but she remarked that the flavor was not quite what she has been accustomed to. (Then, again....our tastes and syrup formulas might have changed over time.) Nonetheless it was delightful. Sandwiches were pretty standard and tasty. A notable "plus" was my Tuesday Special...The "Jezebel". It was a nicely grilled chicken breast on toast with special "Temptation of Jezebel Sauce...a delicious combination of tropical pineapples, sweet apples, cracked black pepper and a little horseradish for a hint of "bite." (Captain Rodney's is a Tennessee-based company located in Bell Buckle....nice!) plus grilled mushrooms, onion and cream cheese. Yes, I'd order again. My Chocolate shake had me doing a bit of a double take. Creamy and smooth to start; too thick to suck through a straw, BIG up front chocolate flavor...but, something seemed not quite what I had anticipated. The creaminess was a bit different from the old stand mixer style - although it was made in that kind of machine. And, the ice cream was almost like eating soft serve. BUT...this was a delightful, delectable, treat and worth a repeat. (For the record I was told they use Mayfair ice cream and milkshake mix. Good stuff.) Bottom line....definitely worth a stop on your way through town, or as a destination for a special treat. (FYI: handicap entrance is off to the side of the building and I didn't see it until we were leaving. Front entrance has two steep steps to navigate.)
