I should have taken my vehicle to a carpenter than hoping that mechanics who don't know what to do will help me. It was a cheer waste of time and I am still paying for a minus value. I'm so disappointed.

I understand that Sherwood Chevrolet owns the BMW dealership in Saskatoon. I just took…read moremy 2000 BMW Z3 roadster to BMW for service on Monday. When I was ready to leave with my car the customer relations person said she would help me transfer my shopping from the courtesy car to my car so I suggested she could pull my car out of the parking spot and I would drive the courtesy car into that spot. When I pulled over there she had backed my car out and told me the seat was so far back that she could hardly even back it out. She asked me if I could drive it that way and I said "NO" She said the seat wouldn't move forward. She brought out a service mechanic and he checked it out and pulled out a piece that was damaged in the motor for the power seat and said the motor must have burned out because of that part. Apparently whoever worked on the car had moved the seat to the extreme back position and perhaps applied pressure. The customer service girl said that BMW would take care of everything and would order the parts and it wouldn't cost me anything. The seat has always worked fine. The service mechanic manipulated the seat into a position so that I could drive the car home. The seat motor made a strange noise and the seat moved very slowly. I received a call today from customer service girl, telling me the service manager and manager there told her they wouldn't repair my car at their expense. They informed her I could bring my car in and they would give me an estimate. She told me they said it would cost $1000 to install a new motor for the seat. She felt badly about it as she had assured me it would be no problem. I have since phoned the mechanic who worked on my car and I asked him if he worked on my car and told him it was a 2000 BMW Z3 Roadster. He said he works on a lot of cars and didn't remember. I said to him, "You mean you don't remember working on that cute little yellow convertible?" and he said "Yes, he did". I asked him if he brought the car into the service area from the parking lot and he said no. I said if you didn't bring it in then who did. He then said he did. I asked him if he put the seat back and he told me they aren't allowed to move the seats of a customer's car. As I am about 5'3" I'm sure there was no room for him to get into the car without moving the seat. He then told me they took the car to be washed and vacuumed implying the damage was probably caused there. I don't care who caused the damage. All I know is the seat was in perfect working order when I took it there and I expected it to be in the same condition when I left. I took my car to the BMW in good faith and I want the damage repaired at their expense. I have sent an email to the manager and service manager but have not received a response.

Fast forward 3ish months, a ridiculous amount unreturned phone calls, work that was said to have been completed but wasn't (service person and used car sales manager both lied to my husband's face about it being completed), requests to speak with the general manager (these calls/requests were not returned), Different departments not having any knowledge of what is going on is ridiculous and we still aren't any further along than we were when we walked out day one. Driving into the city and leaving the vehicle at the dealership on 3 separate occasions and my husband missing work, and having the used car sales manager tell my husband that the only reason he picked up a call from him was because he "thought it was important" is what Oakwood Nissan customer service really is. Super disappointed.

Basic customer service 101 and their service desk Kaitlyn cannot manage it. When I called back she just got defensive and rude with me instead. Rather drive out to another dealership where they at least teach staff basic phone etiquette. Even kids at their first job get taught how to talk on a phone professionally

They promised me calls back with updates and never did call me back. My vehicle was there for three months without them giving me any kind of courtesy car. I finally got a courtesy car for the last month and a half my vehicle was there. It was incredibly slow, incredibly disorganized, and the team there didn't seem to know what was going on. I was incredibly disappointed with this service and I will never recommend for anyone to take their vehicles here.

***AVOID THIS DEALER*** I bought a truck from Sherwood Chev…read moreSaskatoon a couple months ago and being a repeat customer I thought they would treat me well and was even told they would be damned if they were going to lose me to SMP (wish I would have gone with them instead). So I was looking for a ZR2 Silverado and they just so happened to have one left on the lot from what I was told a grey one. when I arrived I was informed it had sold but they had the general manager Todd's demo in black (not my favorite color but said I would consider it if they wrapped the front with protection and ceramic coated the truck and they agree. So far I'm happy. I said I didn't want the box cover or the after market oversized tires Todd had put on. Larry said he would see if he could take them off the deal and get me the topper I wanted, instead he didn't think it would be a big deal. He worked on the deal and called me a couple days later and told me that GM (general motors) wouldn't let him take them off. I consulted a couple other dealers and they informed me that it was all on the dealer not general motors. Well my deal was done and I got a decent price on my trades but I still am not happy with the fact that I had the extras I didn't want. I was informed that the GM was intended general manager later on. I was told this is how I was getting my new truck and if I wanted the topper they would get it for me but I was still taking the box cover and tires. When I asked Todd why they wouldn't take them off to make me happy he told me that's just how it is. I also contacted Kevin the dealer principal and was told he would look into it and was dismissed by him aswell. Moving on when they wrapped the coating on the front fender there was a flaw under the paint and they tried to convince me to leave it how it was. It looked like a huge pimple that you would get during puberty and I said no it needs to be fixed. Clint the auto body manager told me he was squeezing it in where he could and I accepted that the paint itself looked great but they didn't line the fender up properly and it looked totally out of place. They told me to bring it back again so they could try and fix it along with replacing the mudflaps that broke off due to a defect in them (this wasn't there fault it was the flap company). When I brought it back the second time I sat there for 4 hours when I was told it would only take an hour and when I got the truck back the fender still wasn't aligned properly. So I took it to my body guy and he said it was an easy fix and made it perfect for me. Not something I should need to do on a brand new truck. Needless to say I wouldn't send my worst enemy here and the way they treated me I was disappointed and will never deal with them again.
