La comida es riquisima! El sabor único! El pan, hecho ahí mismo! Y las muchachos que trabajando ahi, son muy amables y atentas!

"Fritanga" wrap

I kept seeing their fritanga wrap on Instagram & wanted to check them out. I've always heard their subs are good, so I went in good faith. As a Nicaraguan, I was a bit disappointed to see they used congris instead of gallo pinto (major difference) & they used sour cream instead of crema. While I don't think it's a fritanga wrap, it's more of a Latin America wrap, it was good. It's very big & still has a lot of flavor. It had a bit too much rice to taste the meat or the cheese but it was good. I'll come back to try more of their classics.

The original man VS food was good. I enjoyed it. I couldn't finish it and was priced at a reasonably. Give them a try and see for your self

Sarussi, excuse me~ Perdóneme While visiting uncle Wallace a stop at Sarrussi is necessario. The parking lot is crunched tight during lunch and expect to wait. Too many lazy drivers who park on or crossing the line grrrr. Food to go can be ordered out the front window or inside. Staff used fresh gloves for prepping sandwich. I prefer no mayo since I'm trying to get by with less fats but still enjoy some of the great tasting sandwich flavors. Beer is just at the gas station a short walk next door. Life is good, stay thirsty my friends. Food. 4 Ambiance. 3 Service. 3 Location. 3 Value. 4

The 13" Original. With French fries and a Mamey Shake

This is my go-to neighborhood sandwich shop. When I want to eat something semi-healthy I go to subway. When I want a yummy sandwich and don't care about calories I go to Sarussi! When we come here we always tend to pick up a couple of their large sandwiches to take home. One of their large 13" sandwiches feeds about three of us at home. Their original which is made on cuban bread, with ham, pork, and swiss cheese, is everyone's go-to sandwich. It's delicious. It makes my mouth water just thinking about it. I've also tried the churasco sandwich which is very yummy and has a great sauce to it. This one is probably my second favorite sub. I've also tried the chorizo sandwich, which was very tasting but it was super greasy. So I tend to stay away from it even though it tastes great, because I don't need the extra pounds! If you are in a rush I usually call ahead and pick up my sandwich about 10 minutes later. They are also on uber eats so that's very convenient too!

a ham and cheese sandwich

I ordered food from here through Postmates. We ordered 2 of their famous sandwiches which we paid extra for their 16" but received two 8". The quality of the sandwiches were not good at all and their pork chucks were so dry and tasteless that our dog didn't eat it either. As for Postmate's credit was only $4.00. They still pocketed $14 plus taxes and fee. I wish I can give them less then a star!!!!

The subs here are out of this world! Amazing amazing! All of them taste like heaven but my personal favorite is churrasco! Most subs come with a protein, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, mini potato sticks, onion and their home made special sauce. They also make their own bread and spread some sort of garlic butter on it. They offer 8" and 16" which is huge! Some of the proteins they carry is pernil ( pork), tuna, steak, ham/ cheese, chicken, etc. The juices and smoothies are also very fresh. I love this place and completely recommend it to everyone!

The steak in the sandwich was like chewing rubber. What happened this place? I'm giving two stars because the lady was nice.

Original Sándwiches are very good. They have gotten very expensive so don't go there as often as I used to.

Sandwiches are huge (can be shared by two people easily). Location and interior decor not the best. Servers are not the most attentive.

I stopped by after the lunch rush to have a hialeah heat sandwich was the perfect version of typical cuban sandwich with a kick. I loved the touch of spicy in my sandwich. I also had a cafe bom bom that was really good. Loved the condensed milk. The girl who served me was very attentive to me when I visited and helped me with any questions i had; made me feel very welcomed. When i couldn't finish my coffee she packed it up for me in a to go cup.

Was meeting with some friends for an early lunch last week and I suggested this restaurant. The inside is not that big and parking is terrible, but I figured the food would make up for it. Very few tables inside but it was clean and has a counter area where the customer can sit or can sit and wait for their to go order. Not sure what has happened during the past two years but the food wasn't that great this time around. We shared the simple egg sandwich with bacon, and ordered a cafe con leche, the croqueta sampler and some islas canarias croquetas. The simple egg sandwich was unflavorful. The croqueta sampler and islas canarias croquetas were my favorite. Sadly, the cafe con leche didn't even taste like cafe con leche. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed although it was just our table and two more tables she was serving. There was a total of maybe 8 customers. We had to keep asking her for more water and napkins.

Located right outside of Westland Mall facing the parking lot next to H & M…read more Lots to look at and admire. Loved the lighting fixtures and the murals on the walls. Great music and friendly staff. What we ordered- Croquetas 10/10 - Soft creamy inside and lightly crispy on the outside. Drizzled with a aioli style sauce. (In my opinion)the croquetas were so good they didn't need any sauce. Churassco w/ white rice, black beans and plantains 10/10 ohh this is everything a churassco should be. Juicy, tender and cooked full of so much flavor. The rice was perfect not sticky just perfectly fluffy and not oily and the beans are exactly what I always hope to be served at any Cuban restaurant. Absolutely delicious and full of so much flavor. I mean if they told me Abuela had made them I would totally believe it. Chefs kiss The hubs ordered the Picanha with morro rice and plantains 10/10 No crumbs or grains of rice was left on his plate! Absolutely delicious Needless to say this place is an absolute must! Definitely will be back

I came by their new location in Westland Mall today since I was shopping and I was hungry. However,…read morewith slow service and nickel and diming (18 percent automatic tip) and smallish portions I don't think I'll be back. Having had a quick workday lunch and walked around the mall, I had worked up an appetite. I was seated in a corner table for two and my order was taken. The restaurant did not seem that crowded even for a Friday night but it felt like a long wait. Unlike many Cuban places, they don't offer complimentary bread. I ordered their "platanos a tentacion" (bacon wrapped sweet plantains), grilled chicken and moros. The rice was a little hard and the chicken breast on the small side and barely seasoned other than the onions garnishing it. Service didn't feel very attentive for me as a solo diner. Between finishing my dinner and waiting to order either dessert or cafecito, I also sat and waited until a waitress finally came by. At that point, I just got the coffee and my check. I don't believe I was offered a printed receipt, just the card terminal. I asked if the tip was included and pretty much in time when I was putting the usual tip (trying to be generous with 20 percent) I was told that it was a service charge, and that the tip was extra, but had full amounts starting with 18%. So basically I paid 30% tip for a small portion of food and inattentive service. Looking back, I see that this restaurant had a different name and I had enjoyed dinner at their other location six years back. It's disappointing to see how it has fallen off. As it were, a lot of the original creative items on the menu are no longer being offered.
