I then called the office a few left a message. when someone did rwturn my call i was told authorization was expired and that I needed new authorization stating "new patient" due to the code. I told the person it did not make any sense since the authorization clearly had an expiration date and number of visits. I then cancelled appointment. I've seen over 15 dermatologists but have been consistently seeing Dr Katz for the past 5 years because he's simply the best one. His office is going above and beyond safe COVID precautions by operating at only limited capacity, N95 masks for staff, etc. Dr. Katz came highly recommended by a friend who had a cancer growth on his foot, and which had been overlooked by two other dermatologists. That's the kind of attention to detail he always provides with each and every visit.
