I want to give a HUGE shout out to the Floral Team at Sargents. They did all of the flowers for our wedding and they were our of this world! When starting to plan right away I felt overwhelmed and nervous. After walking out of my first appointment I was stress free because of how detail oriented our session was. With pictures of what I thought I wanted and help with what was in season, everything fell into place. It was everything I had envisioned and more. It was truly "Pinterest" perfect! With living more than 30 miles away, Neil (amazing landscaper/floralist), drove the flowers to the church, then went to the venue to set up the tables and other arrangements. He also made sure to let us know about the heat and information about the flowers so they would stay beautiful all day. We were absolutely blessed to have him around the day of the wedding! With the wedding being about three weeks ago I am still enjoying our flowers and starting to dry them for a keepsake box. They are still almost as beautiful as the day we got them. I am so thankful for the kind people, hard work, and stress free planning that the team at Sargents gave to us. It was exceptional service and I would highly reccomend their services in the future! Sargent's always does an amazing job at having big overflowing hanging planters---just spilling over with color...I like that they have a nice selection of things inside too you can easily get some nice gifts for people here.....I actually called them from another state and they helped me send over a flowering bush to a friends house to celebrate her becoming a grandma....I appreciated the advice and help they gave me. read more

Use to have helpful staff. Today staff totally indifferent. Everything in house plant area labeled house plant, staff totally is done fervent or didn't know anything specific about houseplants. Zilch help. The one star is to be star too many. At least Walmart tries, can't say that about Sargent's. They use to be so helpful, over the years we had $3,000's of landscaping. Sargents is located on 2nd street, west of the highway 52 intersections. They have a large store with plenty of outdoor as well as indoor show space. The plants are in excellent condition and the staff are wonderfully helpful. I highly, highly recommend shopping here for your house plants, landscaping, and floral needs. read more

Odd hours for a nursery. The ones I am use to open much earlier. As while they have lovely plants and flowers, and have many interesting items, they are massively overpriced. If you have money to waste, or need something particular or special, I guess go there....but I won't be back. read more

Bought landscape plants late in the season. Most business like Low's and Home Depot still have plants but they are ratty and half dead. Sargent's look perfect and beautiful. You'll pay a bit more but I just don't even bother going anyplace else anymore. They also have things arranged by types annuals/perennials. The perennials all have colored and numbered tags that correspond to their ultimate size and blooming times making choosing easy. read more

This place has quality plants for a moderate price. If you're looking for some cheap run of the mill plants, look elsewhere. They have a good variety of flowers. The roses are amazing. That said, I'm cheap and don't usually make purchases here unless i'm given a gift card. read more

Second time I have ordered an arrangement from the florists on 2nd Street SW. What a mistake! Tips of flowers already browning, poorly executed, high price. Never, ever, ever again will I deal with the floral shop! On the other hand, the Sargent's landscape department is excellent and they have healthy perennials and annuals Just skip the florists. . read more

Not happy with the flowers that were delivered . I ordered "how sweet it is" and upgraded to a deluxe. When I saw the flowers that were delivered I was embarrassed. The flowers that showed up sure was in no comparison the ones on the website. They looked like cheap flowers bought from a gas station. Never again! read more

First review ever for me but was so happy with the service and flowers I couldn't help myself. My family went in to pick out an arrangement for my sick great grandmother at St Mary's and there were lots of beautiful choices. We found the perfect one for her easily and went to pay for it at the counter and was surprised when the lady behind the counter went and got a tulip for each of my kids to have. They were thrilled even my son. Even though we were in a hurry it was a great experience for the short time we were there and our great grandma loved the flowers. We will be back again soon! Ordered flowers recently for a funeral and was disappointed in the size of the flowering plant basket. It looked much bigger in the on-line picture than it appeared in person. Also, was able to enter a discount code via my employer that reduced the cost by 20% or about $14. I received a call from Sargents Floral the day of the delivery to the funeral home to confirm delivery of the flowers and "oh by the way, the discount can not be applied to plants only fresh cut flowers". What was I supposed to do at that point? I ordered the flowers 5 days earlier and should have received a call then or the online system should not have allowed the code to be entered. This very poor service. read more
