What a cute find! I stopped in after noticing this shop on my bikeride. I was in need for a hanging basket and to my surprise, it was BOGO! All the hanging baskets were perfectly groomed and giant. In addition, all the annuals were also BOGO. I always feel called to support small businesses and felt the creativity from the exterior mural to the floral arrangements outside. The interior offers boutique items such as dresses, sleep wear, body products, cards, chocolate and even some small furniture. I felt the pricing was fair and the cashier and I shared the same name, Tiffany. The cherry on top was that my grandfather who recently passed away is named Jerry so the stars were aligned on this visit. Thank you, Flowers by Jerry! read more

I saw some reviews that weren't very positive but decided to go with this business as they were a well-established family florist. The floral arrangement they sent was beautiful however it wasn't even close to what the picture was it was supposed to have been very dark burgundy's and blues I asked them for a touch of white when in reality the arrangement was 60% White no dark Rich blue and very little dark rich burgundy. It was a beautiful arrangement though and I understand flower shops don't always have on hand what the picture is. The only other thing is that she said she would send me a picture so I can see the arrangement but she did not. I would use them again though read more

I am from out of state and wanted flowers delivered to my boyfriend in the hospital in Rochester. Came across FBJ online, I looked up their instagram to double check and saw the most beautiful arrangements and decided to place an order online and ordered a Traditional Moody and a box of chocolates. The flowers received look nothing like the pictures on their website or instagram of what they call a Traditional Moody. The pictures are completely deceiving. I was so upset and disappointed when I saw the flowers that had been delivered. If the shop doesn't count with the same exact flowers as the ones on the picture provided to the customer at least make the arrangement match the standard of what you are offering online. read more

Called from Texas to order a Mother's Day gift (for my mother) in Rochester. I could not have been any more pleased with the service! The kindly person walked me through the floral options, recommending a hanging basket of flowers in bloom (which my mother loved). They also recommended a wonderful pop-up Mother's Day card and hand wrote the greeting (which my mother also loved). And, as if this could get any better, they delivered all of it later that afternoon (which my mother found completely shocking in that I could get a Mother's Day gift to her on time, early even). So, thanks so much Flowers by Jerry! You all are truly amazing! read more

I had lots of problems doing a long distance online order for my family in Rochester. I would recommend not relying on the online service for delivery. When I ordered: - website promotional code that lures you into website does not work. No discount is actually given at order: - although you order well before cutoff time, this Jerry's cannot do same day delivery; and, - if you receive a confirmation email that gives a confirmation code and assurance delivery will occur, don't rely on this. You will need to call the shop to ensure they have the order and can actually deliver. Basically, do NOT rely on the website to order your loved ones arrangements. Call the shop instead and talk it through in person. The website does not work if your flowers have to be there. read more

Delightful Experience for a Sad Occasion Jessica at Flowers by Jerry was phenomenal to work with. After just a short conversation she was able to understand my budget, vision and goals and made me feel good throughout the process. She had some suggestions to make it even better as well. Her thoughtful attention to details, knowledge, kindness and follow through made this a wonderful experience. She even sent a photo of the arrangement to me since I asked. I could not be more thrilled at the flowers, service, value and delivery. Flowers by Jerry will be my florist moving forward. read more

Had the same issue as Paige I. Got flowers sent to my mother in Soldotna, Alaska. I typed in local florist in Soldotna and Flowers by Jerry popped up. Bought what I thought was this beautiful colorful arrangement and my mom got an arrangement that was completely different.. literally got an all green arrangement. Spoke to the Dylan , gave me a twenty percent discount on the arrangement and said he couldn't completely refund me because they still had to pay the third party?? Reconsider when ordering from this place. First photo is what I ordered. Second photo is what she got.. they didn't even attempt to recreate the flowers I paid for. read more

I wanted to order flowers today for my friend who in the hospital at Mayo. The florist checked to be certain that I would be able to send fresh flowers; sadly my friend is in a restricted unit and fresh flowers are not allowed, I did not realize this. The florist offered to check to be certain that my friend was actually still in the restricted room and also offered the option of sending silk flowers. I really appreciated the florist's professionalism. Thank you! read more

If you need flowers in Rochester, this florist blows the competition right out of the water! I wanted flowers for my grandson's birth--and yes I wanted a cute planter like they did in the old days. I called around and finally got a wonderful young lady to help me at this florist--she even put me on hold to go take a look at what may fit what I was describing and looking for. They had a few choices and she seemed excited about the duck with the large bill so that is what we went with and even took time to explain all the balloon choices to me. The have actually designers on staff that really make your arrangement look special and not like all the others. You will pay for what you get but sometimes it's worth it! read more

Their flower arrangements are gorgeous!!!! During recent surgeries over the past year, I've received 5 deliveries from them from friends & family. All were stunning, fresh & beautifully arranged. Never ever, ever order from these online scammers. I REPEAT NEVER ORDER FROM THEM!! Scammers. I ordered flowers for a funeral taking place in another state. The flowers were confirmed to be delivered before the 4 PM service the next day. An email was sent the day of funeral, informing me they "Received your two orders. We are not located in that area. We have a Nationwide Service and would transfer your order to an FTD Affiliate. The flower shop in KS is closed on Saturdays. Therefore the soonest these could be delivered is on Monday. (2 days after funeral) Then a 2nd email on MON stating: they wouldn't be delivering the arrangement because they didn't have the flowers. This was NOT a fancy arrangement. I was left flat with no way to get flowers to the funeral, or even to the residence on Mon. I was mortified and soo EMBARRASSED and LIVID! They advertised that they are local and guaranteed same day delivery. Please check a local florist before using online scammers, so you won't be stuck without flowers. They are nothing but a scam. This has broken my heart. read more

ZERO STARS - STEER CLEAR OF THIS DECEPTIVE BUSINESS!!!!! Their website is completely misleading. The site actually makes it self look like it Is local to anywhere you search in a Google search for a local florist. That is so misleading and deceptive!! I intentionally wanted to use a local New York company to a location I was not familiar with and to support a small business. The site intentionally hides its true identity. Who does that!!! After receiving a call (from a Minnesota #) on the afternoon the flowers were to be delivered, they said that they couldn't locate the address themselves (using the white pages!!!) and requested I give them the phone # of the person to receive the flowers. I was hesitant but gave it, still thinking they were a local mom and pop shop. I became suspicious and went back the website and discovered their intentional deceptive business model of representing themselves as local to the area you search. The contact page is completely blank and way down at the bottom, in small font, shows a location in Rochester, MN. Very fraudulent!! When I received a confirmation delivery email later the next day I thought well OK at least my friend received my flowers. Didn't hear from friend so I called to make sure they got it. You guessed it, they didn't!!! Called the Rochester, MN phone no. from the delivery email and first I got hung up on during a "transfer". Second call, they said they would get back to me after some research. Few hours later they called back to say again they couldn't find the address and not delivered. I immediately cancelled and was told I would get an email with cancellation. Still waiting for that, and immediately put a stop on the credit card transaction. STEER CLEAR OF THIS DECEPTIVE BUSINESS!!!!! read more

Stay Away!! False advertising. I wanted to order flowers for my mother in laws 90th birthday and she lives in Callaway VA. I googled and their name came up. After I placed the order and tried to follow up about delivery, I found out that they did not have a phone number on their website only a email. Which I never received a response from. But then I found out they were NOT local at all!! I was very upset. They are just ORDER takers, they pass the order on to another florist. This is so wrong!! They are taking away business from LOCAL florist. Nathalie G read more

Such an adorable unique boutique in Rochester, from home decor to wardrobe pieces they have such a nice selection of beautiful pieces!

This is my second order via this florist and my last. Since they apparently are not in the business of actually delivering the flowers you order without notifying the recipient because they can't find their way out of town you have no hope of sending flowers as a surprise! Being in the transportation and delivery business ourselves we understand how important it is to not count on Google to get us where we are going but apparently unless Google takes them turn by turn they can't manage to deliver an order. Oh and their customer service is abysmal as the clerk was delighted to cancel my order instead. So, apparently they don't need any new business. read more

Website appears to be for a local vendor. In fact, they are not based in the city I searched (Kansas City) but have only one location in MN. I requested delivery of funeral flowers by noon and was told this would be done. They were delivered at 2:30 after the funeral. Further, the email confirmation provided only the date, and not even a photo of the flowers. Jerry's basically said their out of state partner does not provide photo or delivery stamp. These were expensive flowers, and I would have chosen 1-800 flowers if the website clearly indicated it is not Jerry's flowers I was using. read more

I wish I could leave 0 stars. I googled "local florist, Hodgenville KY" and saw Flowers by Gerry's sweet website, complete with a family photo and a paragraph about how thrilled they are to serve the Hodgenville area. I placed an order to be delivered to a nearby funeral home. 5 minutes into the service DAY OF, I got a call from a corporate number out of Maryland telling me they wouldn't be able to complete the order because they have no one in the area to deliver. What kind of organization aims to mislead people in mourning?? Gerry's false advertising left me unable to send sympathy to the funeral home, and their last minute phone call didn't allow time to find a more reputable florist. Flowers by Jerry is an organization that really cares about its customers and the people who will receive their gifts. I live in Colorado where Flowers By Jerry offers delivery through local florists. I ordered a bouquet for a dear friend in the hospital. There was a mix-up with the delivery so I emailed Flowers By Jerry. I was contacted immediately by them and offered a solution with kindness. Customer service is not easy to come by these days. To receive a personal note of empathy from someone at the company meant so much. I cannot recommend Flowers By Jerry enough. I am a customer for life. read more

Louise was argumentative and abrupt to deal with when I tried to check the status of the order. Too busy talking over the top of me to listen when I dared question her regarding the date of delivery and when it was delivered. Gave me wrong information. I know this is likely a tiny, Midwest family business where they will not listen to me and just disregard me as the difficult one because she is a family friend or relative and I am well aware how they stick together up there and distrust outsiders but honestly, from the heart, her customer service needs a lot of work. Stop talking and LISTEN. Put some cheer in your voice when talking to people. She sounded very short and rude. Not acceptable. I spent over $80 for a gift basket and deserve better. You know that vibe you get that someone couldn't care less? BINGO. read more

I made a good decision to purchase flowers from Flowers by Jerry. Shortly after I placed my order online, they called me concerning the note I had written to be attached to the flowers. The lovely picture of a couple living and serving the same town that you want flowers delivered is a lie and false marketing! I was informed that the couple you see on the site is fake and that my delivery was too rural and would cost $25 more than the $18 already paid. It's a big scam...8 stems of flowers for $40 plus tax and delivery and then more delivery.....there is NO local couple....this "Flowers by Jerry" is a scam and I will report them to the Better Business Bureau...... read more

Beautiful spring bouquet with irises, tulips and daffodils sent to Mayo clinic. Fast service and great customer service.

They get one star because up until today their service had been goodish. There was that one time they spelled my wife's name wrong. Today was a whole new level of poor service. Lady answered the phone. I hold her I wanted to send flowers to my wife for her birthday tomorrow. She asked if I had ordered with them before. Yes I had. We went back and forth about my name. She seemed to have trouble with the fact that my last name in recent years has become a not unusual first name. I thought we had my last name when she asked for my last name again. I told her I just gave her my last name. She said "sir I asked for your first name". I gave her my first name. She had to check the spelling starting with the last three letters. I thought that's odd but ok. Then she spelled my first name front to back. I asked if she had found me in their system. Answer was no. Now we are clearly in manual mode. She ask what time I would like the flowers delivered tomorrow. I answered 10:00 am. I was told they could not do that. They could do morning. I ask what time was morning. She answered 8:00 am to noon. I told her never mind and hung up. read more

If no stars was an option, that's what they'd get. I ordered birthday flowers for my daughter at college, they were to deliver before noon. They called her at 2:26 pm, she called back 3 minutes later, no answer so she texted, no answer. They called an hour later and said they were too far away to deliver and would deliver the next day so I called. the guys voice mail wasn't even set up. Texted, no answer. Next day Daryl called (said he was"jerry") and said they called D at 11. Its all a lie...we have phone logs. I will dispute on AMEX, will believe the logs and the customer. It is one thing to be wrong, another to lie to put blame on the birthday customer. How shameful jerry, daryl or whatever your name is. read more

I ordered some flowers for my friend and he never received them. When I called to ask what happened I was met with a woman who was having a bad day. I feel like I have burdened them with my business. I searched for a florist to deliver flowers for my sister's birthday. On the search engine, this was noted as a local florist - NOT! The FTD logo should have been a clue, so my bad. I ordered online, paid online, got a confirmation online, then later an email saying they did not have the vase I wanted in stock, so would replace with a clear vase. They said my phone # to the recipient was wrong which it may have been ?, but the address was correct and still, the flowers were not delivered. I am currently in China and cannot do much to change these situations other than be frustrated from afar. I cancelled and still waiting to see if my bank account was charged. read more

Would give zero stars if possible. I placed an order online and called to confirm the day of. They told me the order would be delivered by 2pm. 4pm rolled around and they still had not been delivered. I tried calling again and never got an answer. I got a delivery confirmation at 5:20pm, but the business was closed by then, so there was no way it could have been delivered. I finally got ahold of someone this morning and they said that the delivery man didn't have time to deliver, so he brought it back to the shop and marked it as delivered "by mistake" and that they would add extra roses since it's a day late. I asked to cancel the order and get my money back since the occasion had already passed. They said they would refund, so we will see if that happens. Flowers are often sent for a special occasion and it is horrible business to not deliver on time. This happened in Seattle, but it looks like they are unreliable in other places as well. Save yourself the stress and order elsewhere. read more

My family has gotten their flowers and plants from Flower By Jerry for some many years I can"t remember.I am in my fifties.

We live in Hawaii, and a friend of ours traveled all the way to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN for surgery. Having a medical procedure is certainly a stressful enough experience, never mind being thousands of miles from home. I phoned "Flowers by Jerry" in Rochester and immediately felt in good hands with Bev, who helped me select an arrangement with tropical flowers, which would make our friend feel a little closer to home...and we added a plush teddy bear, which will "live" with our friend during her recovery, after the flowers fade. The day before delivery, I called "Flowers by Jerry" again; Chris carefully took down the Hawaiian phrase I gave her for the card that would accompany the arrangement. And finally, before the gift was sent out of the shop for delivery, I think it might have been Dylan (?) who texted me a photo. My friends and I send a heartfelt mahalo nui loa to all the staff at "Flowers by Jerry" !!! read more
