In addition to our wedding- we had our engagement shoot done by them. I cannot believe how relaxed Joe & Kaylyn made us feel! From steaming our clothes to moving pieces of hair out of my face in between shots, these two REALLY are professionals. You don't just get a point + shoot. All of our photos came out too beautiful for words. For our wedding, I did not hire a 'Day of Coordinator' thinking it was a small enough wedding & the people involved all knew their duties. HA!! WAS I WRONG!! Kaylyn not only spent the entire day getting ready with me (while Joe was with the guys) but once the wedding was really rolling she was the one to keep us all in order with the timeline! I cannot thank Kaylyn enough- she literally came in & saved my wedding! Without her I'm pretty sure we would've forgotten to cut our cake.. or even throw the bouquet! LOL :) As far as how long it took for the photos to come back I was so thrilled to see teasers to keep me satified until the whole set came to us (which was not very long at all)! My husband and I learned about Pizzuti Studios when looking for a wedding photographer. We were…read moreactually referred to them by another photographer couple who was booked on our date. We liked what we saw on their website and went up to Lowell to meet with them in person. We liked Rich and Ashley immediately. They were very professional but also had great personalities. In addition to providing us with homemade cookies, they showed us examples of their past work and gave us a tin containing their product and pricing brochure along with examples of some of their products. We left very impressed and, after interviewing one other pair of photographers, decided to go with the Pizzutis. Prior to the wedding date we had an engagement session outdoors at our wedding venue (Mount Auburn Cemetery). Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate and we had to reschedule twice. The third attempt was on a chilly windy morning which made things difficult, but Rich and Ashley made the best of it. We ended up with some great photos, even if our cheeks were pink from the cold and my hair was blowing all over the place. This session helped us all learn about each other and also really helped prepare us for where to shoot the best photos on the actual wedding day. (I would recommend doing this with your photographers, regardless of if they're the Pizzutis.) We had a bit of a unique wedding, with a small ceremony one day and a huge party the next. Rich and Ashley were awesome throughout the whole thing. They managed to get all of the formal photos we wanted quickly, without frustrating our guests, and were wonderful with the young children. (Rich has a great way of getting people to do what he wants without seeming like a jerk about it.) They took tons of candid shots at our party and brought a laptop playing a slideshow of some of our wedding ceremony photos. Ashley even got into a moon bounce with my husband and me and got some really great photos of us. They had our photos up online about two weeks later, shortly after we returned from our honeymoon. Phebe is the queen of vintage and romantic design. She totally got the vibe we were going for, took the ball and ran with it. She had wonderful recommendations on how to save money, and even did many DIY projects on our behalf (glazing mason jars anyone?). One of her great recommendations was getting flowers from Whole Foods, which I would guess saved us at least $1,000. Phebe was always accessible via phone and email whenever we needed her. She kept us on track with checklists and reminders of things we needed to do. We had a shared Pinterest board that I kept filling with ideas, so I always felt involved. In the end, our wedding day was absolutely perfect. I didn't stress one bit knowing Phebe was in charge. Our guests are still raving about how well designed and uniquely personalized our wedding was. This is coming from an absolute and udder control freak. Once Phebe was on our team, she kept up with my husband and I, months prior to the wedding, to make sure we were accomplishing every little detail associated with getting married and making sure our vision of what our special day would look like came out. She also kept both Mike and I engaged in the entire process, this was a HUGE plus! Alot of planners we talked to, would only talk to me, that did not sit well with Mike and I. Her professionalism and team made working with her an absolute dream come true. A few days before the wedding, Phebe came over to go over our final production list, that listed hour by hour what would be going on, where each of us should be. It really put both Mike and I at ease because we knew that we could put the entire wedding, one of the most important days of our lives, into the hands of Phebe and her team. The morning of our wedding, Phebe called both my husband and I to make sure we were up and going and if there was anything last minute that we needed. That morning while we got ready Phebe went to the reception hall to make sure everything was set up correctly, and make sure everything was running smoothly. Once we got to the church, Phebe came out to the limo to notify me of a few problems that she wanted to check with me on. Apparently the florist had dropped the ball and put red bows in place of orange bows down the aisle, and had forgotten the rose petals for a big exit. Phebe said no worries she would remove the bows, and during the ceremony she ran over to the local grocery store to purchase roses so we could still have our big exit. That exit ended up being one of my favorite photos from the entire day and it only happened because of Phebe. Phebe also ran interference on some issues that I did not even know happened until I got back from my Honeymoon, including upset guests about seating arrangements, helping me with my 62 tie bustle, making sure my husband and I were where we needed to be at all times, making sure we both ate and were well hydrated, and making sure our vendors had a go to person besides my husband and I. I could honestly go on and go for hours about Making ME Event Planning, Phebe, and her staff. My husband and I are so blessed to have had her there in our corner so we could concentrate on what was important, enjoying our friends and family on an amazing day, that was filled with love and happiness, and honestly not an once of drama because of Phebe.
