The only reason I didn't give 6 stars was the 'Supply Chain' issue. The timeline was stretched somewhat, but when looking at the complete picture... the 'hands on' advice was top notch, the prices were more than competitive, the delivery was professional, and the installation outstanding. A Factory Defective Dishwasher was sold, delivered & installed. The pin hole leak has caused water damage, repair has taken weeks. Management is either uninformed about this or is ignoring our situation. No Gift card, no flowers for My stressed out wife. I bought $35k worth of Thermador appliances here. I have had these for 10 months, and my freezer, range top and double wall ovens have all needed repair. For such pricey appliances this is crazy! The repair process has been very slow and I have to keep calling Sargent to follow up on the status. Poor customer service and poor quality/overpriced appliances. Will not shop here again. read more

You should absolutely purchase your appliances from this company. Our cleaning lady used too harsh of chemicals on our stovetop & it damaged our burner. I called Sargent, explained what happened, the woman on the phone figured out exactly what part I needed, ordered it & had it shipped for free to my home within 2 weeks. No waiting on hold, didn't have to speak to someone with broken English, no hassle trying to figure out what I need, it was easily one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. This company doesn't deserve a rating. In 2020 I spent over $10,000 there in appliances. Then I went back in 2022 and ordered another $12,000 worth of appliances for another home. I Ordered it in November 2022 and it was delivered in March 2023 and it was the wrong order. They had ordered the wrong GE Cafe refrigerator and made me keep the wrong appliance in my house while they re-ordered the correct item. We are made to pay the restocking fee of over $800 plus the additional price for the actual appliance I thought I was getting. So an extra $1,200! We had planned on ordering washer and dryer as well, but I will never go back to this company again. The owners are bullies. They said they were giving me a deal, and when I went to Witbecks the same café GE refrigerator was $300 less. Sergeant said they weren't budging on the price. I was warned by another family member not to go there, and I went there anyway . I guess I had to learn the hard way . Never again Their loss! read more

We have purchased a Viking microwave, Viking refrigerator and a Bosch dishwasher from Sargent Appliance over the last 5 years. The microwave started smoking and smelled like burned plastic after 3 years. When I called Sargent to ask for help the salesman said it would be stupid to get it repaired and to just buy a new one. They obviously don't stand behind their products and just want to sell more. We will never buy another appliance from them. read more

Do NOT shop at this store! We went here for a washer and dryer, as we had previously purchased all our kitchen appliances at Sargent 10 years ago. This experience was awful. They promised delivery in 2 weeks, instead it was over 8 weeks, and whenever we called to ask our salesman about the delay he had no information or did not call back. Now after finally getting it, the washer is leaking and causing damage to our floor. When we called Sargent, they pushed us off on GE, who is next to impossible to get in touch with a human. So we are now left with a leaking brand new washer and no resolution to the problem! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT SARGENT!! read more

Sargent Appliance at 600 Rochester Rd., Rochester, MI (E. side of street) is the best appliance store where I have ever made a purchase. The sales people are fantastic. My salesman was NICK RINE. Purchased a 9 cubic ft. chest freezer. Even though I know that it was a small commission for him, he checked books for specific answers, even took out a tape measure to offer me a "visual" of the dimensions of the freezer. HIGHLY recommend Sargent Appliance at this location. When I need to shop for any appliance (this appliance store offers a wide variety of selections & delivery was very prompt), I will definitely be shopping at this location & will ask for NICK RINE specifically. He is professional, friendly & goes out of his way to ensure customer satisfaction. Thank you. read more

Chose this business because I had a tricky installation and their installer convinced me he would be able to handle it. The range hood has a chimney, which arrived dented. So did the second one. So I'm sitting here on another Saturday waiting for an installer. They won't give a time - I just have to wait until someone calls. In the meantime, the range hood now makes noise whenever it's windy - the installer said "oh" and "turn the radio up." Not funny. I wouldn't recommend this company. read more

Worst place from start to finish. Highly recommend shopping around everywhere else for appliances. Our salesman was nice and did what he could do to work with our budget. The manager Pam and the woman at their distribution center are the RUDEST and most miserable woman you will come across. My husband and I were both hung up on from the woman at the distribution center. Do your self a favor and don't waste your time and money here. Home Depot or Lowe's can do a better job. read more

We have bought appliances from Sargents in Rochester for over 25 years. A family owned business that gives great service. We last worked with Jeremy Mitchell and he was the best yet. He was very knowledgable about all the different appliances and helped us pick out what was best for us. Not only did we get great service but the total price for all everything we bought (Viking gas cooktop, fridge, double ovens, microwave and dishwasher) was substantially lower than other stores, and this included shipping to upper Michigan!
