Price: extremely reasonable if you compare it to other antibiotic and hormone free chicken that is sold at the health food stores or farmers market. I've been purchasing chicken there for many years and have never been dissapointed.

If you want to know where Jerry and Nancy farm, ask them! They will invite you by. I have yet to take them up on their offer. The price is more than a grocery store, but the convenience of the size of the chicken is worth it. Everything is fresh, you don't always need a pre-order. They have stuff ready to go on delivery day. I happened to try the salmon which was sashimi grade and super delicious from a partner supplier that they buddy up with in Tofino. If less than 5 star rating has you wondering... don't! Help raise their ratings by giving it a try. We might have chicken tonight. It's a great freezer filler, and I love getting their emails that tell me about their upcoming deals. This week they are overloaded with chicken! So you better get some to at least try something a little different on the BBQ this summer!. Thanks Jerry and Nancy for your hospitality, and your amazing meat!

You can email them at info@foragefoods.com They will email you the weekly menu. Most meals will run you $12-$16 per person All Take Out. Seems a bit pricey but then again your paying for mostly organic and local. They girl who works there is sweet as pie and helpful! Cons: Menu changes so you have to wait for the weeks of your faves! Price. Daily specials are a bit pricey but fridge salads are priced low. I really, really wanted to love Forage. I am a huge supporter of local, sustainable 'farm to fork'…read morefood. Which is why I was so excited to try Forage for a homemade, take out meal this week. There is certainly a lot to be impressed about. For one, the serving size is pretty large. A 'single' order fed me for 3 meals! They also had great customer service, I noticed several customers being called by name. I certainly see the appeal of stopping by Forage on your way home from work when you just aren't in the mood to cook. On the flip side, I wasn't blown away by the food, and it isn't cheap. I suffered extreme heartburn every time I ate my chicken cacciatore. The chicken was dry, and I wasn't overwhelmed with flavour. BUT - I'm always game for a second chances. I'll be back, and hope that I fall in love with Forage next time!
