Courtney is thorough, friendly, kind, and she feels more like family at this point. I came in for a 1 hour massage and added on the foot scrub. It was a full body massage that ended with a scalp massage. Marie was my masseuse and I highly recommend her. She was very attentive and asked the right questions to make sure I was in maximum comfort. The aromas are perfectly applied and not overwhelming. I loved the eucalyptus towards the end of the massage and my feet felt baby soft and clean after the foot scrub. The amenities are fabulous. The lavender meditation room is under rated. The aroma is subtle and fresh, cool temperature and dim lighting. Feels calm and not many people use it. A nice place to reset and calm your mind. Tonight I saw Tresca, and I left in a total daze. I cannot remember the last time I felt so physically relaxed. I am pretty sure I fell asleep in the session and I can't remember the last time that's happened either. Tresca offered pain relief and in a way that was so calming my entire system settled- and that is beyond amazing to and for me, I am very grateful. I love the north Scottsdale location of the NOW- from the moment you walk in, the scent starts working on your mood and the sounds of the ocean in the treatment area drowns out the noise. There are several amazing therapists there and I'm so glad I can add Tresca to the list.

She also provided a full 80 minutes of her time, as expected. Had my original experience been with Trang, The NOW would have received an easy 5-star review from me. I am changing my overall rating to 4/5 due to the hassle and frustration I originally had to deal with. That said, management and ownership did the right thing. Bad experiences (or just bad fits) can happen, but the difference between a good business and a bad one is what management and ownership do to address those issues. 5 stars to management and ownership, 5 stars to Trang, and 4 stars overall given my specific experience. I can comfortably recommend this location, as long as you are willing to speak up if you don't get what you deserve. After my first experience, I would not have considered this location in the future. It was meant to be a relaxing part of our celebration. When we arrived for our 2 PM appointment, we were informed that one of the massage therapists had been sent home sick. While we absolutely understand that health and safety come first, the way this was communicated to us felt abrupt and impersonal. The staff member who delivered the news was nonchalant, and while she repeated that it was about "our safety". Considering the context of our celebration and the planning that went into the appointment, the delivery felt dismissive rather than empathetic. We were then offered a facial and massage combo or to split the time with just one of us receiving a massage. That suggestion felt out of touch for a couple celebrating their anniversary. It made it clear there was little thought or care behind the service experience, despite my husband being in communication with the location well in advance. When we declined the facial offer, the front desk assistant kindly wrote down numbers for sister locations that might be able to fit us in. While we appreciated her effort, it would have been far more helpful and service-oriented if the team had called on our behalf, explained the situation, and tried to help us get rescheduled - especially since it was Mother's Day and last-minute availability was unlikely. I am giving two stars instead of one because the front desk assistant at least tried to help, which is more than we can say for her counterpart, and the space itself was clean. Otherwise, this was a very disappointing experience for such a meaningful day.
