There was barely any curl, very little volume, and my hair was frizzy and poofy rather than smooth and polished. It looked nothing like the style I requested or what I've received at Drybar in the past. Because I was already feeling lightheaded and exhausted from surgery recovery, I didn't have the energy to address it in the salon and decided to just go home. However, I called the salon shortly after leaving to explain the situation. Unfortunately, the conversation with the manager, Bailey, made the experience even worse. She immediately came across as defensive and cold rather than empathetic. She told me she would call me back before the end of the day, but I never received a call. During the conversation she questioned why I hadn't said something while I was still there so another stylist could fix it, which felt dismissive given the circumstances I had already explained. I understand that things don't always go perfectly with services, but the way concerns are handled makes all the difference. The lack of empathy and follow-through left me feeling uncomfortable and disappointed enough that I will not be returning.

Her hands have finesse. I watched as she performed my full head highlight weave as she took the thinnest amount of hair, in order to correct the chunks my other stylist usually leaves. I asked for a shade lighter than what I walked in with, a bit of long layers and for her to give me some beach curl look. She nailed it on every point. Gave me a hair mask to thicken and correct the cuticle frizz, took her time blow drying, then as she curled, she showed me how to curl my hair in order to achieve the beautiful look she gave me. It was a shot in the dark and I hit the bullseye. Tyler is my new stylist!!!! The staff is great and today was a fun day! Plus they have the best deals on products as well.

I will have to continually endure this till all of those hidden layers grow back- sharing to worn others about hidden layers- don't do it! Waste of money for the aggravation!
