    Cuernito
    Jack M.

This family run Mexican Bakery is small but they are putting out some pretty good baked good. I picked up a few items, including a straight out of the oven croissant, a cuernito at .60, a Magdalena de maiz muffin at .60, and several small cookies which were .25 a piece. I don't remember what the croissant cost, but it was not much. The croissant was piping hot when I received it. I ate it as soon as I got home and it was still warm. As a result, the croissant was very moist and soft and had a terrific buttery flavor. It was very good eating. The cuernito needed to be heated for about 30 seconds in the microwave. With the added heat, it was soft and moist but not as buttery as the croissant. It was denser too yet great to eat with a cup of coffee as I did. Magdalena had a good and had a sweet corn flavor and was moist at room temp. The cookies were nice too. They had a slight crunch and were soft inside. I liked the one with the crushed walnuts on top. The lady working the bakery was patient and nice while worked on making up my mind and answering a few questions I had.

Mexican bread there and had human hair disgusting

Went today to this bakery but a few sweet bread took a couple bites and found it had some human hair disgusting be careful when you eat bread there if I had to grade them they would've failed with the big F gross be careful when you buy bread here

We have been going to get pan dulce from here for years! We love their bread! It's a family run panaderia. They are very sweet and accommodating. My sister had a potluck and we asked for two dozen conchas & they were baked fresh. They are so fluffy! They were mixed but I didn't get a chance to take a picture of the others since they were put in boxes and taped closed. Forever my favorite.

Claudia was very friendly and helpful and that the bakery provided us for our anniversary was perfect for the occasion! The red velvet was amazing!

I was looking forward to try this panadería but when my mom got home with the rosca. We were so disappointed it ruined our holiday. The rosca looked like a fat concha .

AMAZING bread!!! Reminds me of the drives to TJ bringing back thst OG Mexican style bread - minus crossing the border with long waits & possible inspection before the 2hr drive back to LA. All the bread is worth the drive & pricing is much more than reasonable. Hopefully 1 day she'll raise those prices so she can takea vacation. They would still be cheaper & better than most bakeries in LA I've been to. In Cali, the drive from LA to Paradise Valley is a cinch (unless you're not a road trip fan). Come, try it, enjoy it!

Sarah's bakery did an amazing job! Very happy with my baby shower cake
    Christina B.

I had my baby shower cake done at Sarah's bakery and I'm so satisfied with it. The cake looked so amazing even my guest didn't want me to cut it. It was really good. The customer service was great and the price was the cherry on top of the cake! They did also my best friends cake for her baby shower and they did so good I decided to do mine here. I would recommend it to anyone who's looking for a great cake at a great price!

Came here at 10:10. Sign says open, open light is on. Door is locked. Called twice and no one picked up.

They have baked goods as well as sandwiches u can order. Someone will ask u if u want baked goods first then u go down the counter to order drinks and sandos. Got the everything mochi bagel with cream cheese and the egg & chicken katsu sando. Everything mochi bagel 5/5: so fluffy and light yet still tastes like a bagel. Can be a lil salty on the top where the salt is but contrast with parts that dont have it. Egg sando 5/5: yummy and filling, has cucumber and the milk bread is thick and so fluffy! Chicken katsu sando 5/5: my favorite. I love the spicy mustardy sauce not sure if it's in the actual brown katsu sauce or separate mustard. My bf didnt like it but i loved it! Chicken also juicy and soft. The milk bread is so fluffy and lil sweet and perfect pairing. Interior has lots of tables and seating and they they also have an outdoor patio and they clean the tables frequently which is nice. Recommend!

We walked into a modern space with a clean, inviting layout that makes it easy to stop by for a quick pastry or pick up a few things to share. The selection is one of the biggest draws, with everything from classic Japanese breads to savory items that make it feel like more than just a dessert stop. The display cases are well organized, and the visual appeal of the baked goods adds to the experience before you even order. The pastries are where ASA Bakery really stands out. The curry pan is one of the highlights, with a crisp exterior and a savory filling that makes it a satisfying snack rather than just a bakery item. The croissants are also worth trying, especially the matcha croissant, which has a buttery flaky texture with a matcha filling that adds a slightly earthy flavor without becoming overly sweet. The matcha comes through clearly, and the croissant itself is well laminated, with the right amount of crispness on the outside and a soft, airy interior. The melon pan is another classic option that delivers the soft bread interior and lightly sweet cookie-like topping that makes it a staple in Japanese bakeries, staying true to the traditional version while feeling freshly made. The savory menu adds another reason to visit, especially the katsu sandos. The cutlet sandwiches have a nice balance between the crispy fried filling and the soft bread, making them one of the more memorable items on the menu. The bread stays soft and pillowy, and the cutlet holds its crunch even against the sauce, which is a detail that often gets overlooked. Items like the hojicha latte and other drinks pair naturally with the pastries, making ASA Bakery feel like a place where you can sit down and enjoy a full café break rather than just grab something quickly. The drink menu is thoughtfully curated and complements the baked goods without competing for attention. Service is friendly and the bakery has a welcoming atmosphere, although popular items can sell out depending on when you visit. The staff are knowledgeable about the offerings and happy to guide you through the selection, which is helpful given the range of choices. The shop gets busy, especially during peak hours, so going earlier gives you the best chance to see the full selection. The pace of the visit stays comfortable even when the line forms, and the team handles the flow efficiently. ASA Bakery is a great spot for anyone looking for Japanese-style baked goods with a mix of sweet and savory options. The combination of quality pastries, unique flavors, and a comfortable café setting makes it a place worth returning to, whether you are picking up a quick snack or settling in for a longer break. It delivers on both the familiar classics and the more creative offerings, leaving you with the sense that you have found a bakery that takes its craft seriously.
