We rented a Duffy boat that holds up to 12 people and we brought 9. It was simply awesome! The boat was easy to use and our night out on the water was perfect. We did a 7-9pm rental. Soooooo fun!! The staff was really nice too. Can't wait to incorporate this into every summer trip to cleveland from here on in!

The driver and co-captain were extremely polite, even though it was a hot afternoon. We were allowed to bring 3 beers or a total of 36 oz of drinks with us. There was a Bluetooth speaker on board which allowed up to all take turns playing our own music too. Overall, the ride lasted a little over 2 hours and it was smooth along the water. A few views that made the outing a memorable one were: downtown's skyline, the flats, and an opening of the lake. Typically the boat will seat about 10 people and we had just a few less. Regardless, it was not an issue as they were extremely accommodating. There is a small convenient store next to the boarding location if you forgot to purchase any beverages before the adventure.

The gentlemen that own this place (Bryan and Latham) go over the top to help with any issues or questions. The July floods wreaked havoc down in our little marina, and these guys were working for over 30 straight hours, ensuring the safety of the boats and campers on the property. Our gazebo was blown into the water, and they pulled it out for us. We happened to have our boat in Cleveland when the marina flooded, and they called us to let us know about the flood, and find out when our boat was coming back. Amenities include a small pool and a nice pavilion. The marina hosts many events during the season. We have attended two island runs to Kelleys Island/Put-In-Bay. They hosted a season kick off party, and a recent steak fry, among other parties. Multiple fishing runs, golf runs, and an annual Halloween party. They have boat service on site, along with winter pull-out and storage. The folks that have campers and boats here have so far been just so very friendly. This is definitely NOT a yacht club. No hoity toity folks or attitudes here. In fact, I was so impressed with the folks at the kick-off party in the spring. They all got together to donate funds to a family that have been members for a while that experienced a personal tragedy this past year. Not a dry eye was found in that pavilion when Latham handed that couple a large wad of cash from their friends at the marina. Very family friendly place, great service, and a place I look forward to seeing every week. Just a lot of fun.

Holiday Boat Charters is the ultimate summer activity in CLE! They provide private and custom…read morecruises including cocktail and dinner cruises. I enjoyed my time on the Holiday Boat during River Rally two years in the row (2024 and 2025), sharing this experience in my review. River Rally Experience: River Rally is organized by the Canalway Partners on annual basis as a festival designed to celebrate our river resources. Holiday Boat Charters ride is one of the highlighted events. The experience is complimentary and around 45 minutes. Boating requires signature of the waiver, wait in short line, and boarding all day long boat rides. The boat boards at Hart Crane Memorial Park and floats down the Cuyahoga River. There is just the right amount of introduction to the experience and some overview of sights by the captain. The staff is very supportive as you get in and out of the boat. Boat Amenities: This is a medium sized boat with seating (wooden benches and couch-like benches). The seating is located at both sides of the boat and the front allowing you to experience all river views. The boat has a full stocked bar. I really enjoyed my experience on the Holiday Boat Charters. The sights of the city from the Holiday boat are unmatched. You must make it part of your summer! I look forward to next year's River Rally and looking into booking a private experience.
