When calling Dr Romeo's office for a F/u appt recently I was informed Dr Grassa had moved to Sayville so I called and made an appt. I saw him recently at Sayville Family Dentistry. My initial interaction with the friendly receptionist was positive. I then saw the hygienist who informed me I may need to return for two deep cleanings, although she had not taken X-rays yet nor had she done my cleaning yet. I was then seen by Dr Grassa who briefly examined me then told me I had a cavity in my wisdom tooth and the tooth required removal. Never showed me the tooth in question by using a mirror, never showed me anything on X-rays and never explained why he came to his conclusion. (I had X-rays done 8 months ago and have never had tooth discomfort). He told to see a dental surgeon. No referrals given for a dental surgeon, no documentation given as to why he reached his conclusion but just a very dismissive /disinterested attitude about my dental care as he just walked out of the room. I do not recommend this dentist and I already have an appt. with a new dentist. I should have seen Dr Romeo instead of wasting my time.

He is very Experienced (23 years in practice), Professional and personable. After repeating X-rays and examining my teeth, he determined that there was no need for "a cap" as suggested by Dr Grassa and no need for 2 deep cleanings as suggested by Arkna his hygienist. He did however have to reclean my teeth despite my having done a cleaning a week ago at Dr Grassa. When something doesn't seem right ALWAYS go for a second opinion!!

Every Dental Hygienist has wonderful bedside manor. Both Dr. Moe and Dr. P have been absolutely wonderful doctors. They always thoroughly explain each procedure and ease my anxiety when I'm sitting in the chair. Both are also extremely gentle. What sets them apart from other offices around-They are up on all of the new technology and offer procedures that aren't done in all offices. The office is extremely clean and very modern. Why get personal? Diane has no idea what my life is like. If I dare try to make an appointment again, am I going to get mistreated becase I was late on the bill? I had no pain and never had a cavity before. I didn't believe it. I went for a second and third opinion and both dentists stated I had no cavities. It's been several years and still have no cavities. In my opinion , he was trying to charge me and or my insurance as much as he could for doing fillings that were not needed.

I've gone to about 5 dentist locations before and Babylon Dental Care has far exceeded my expectations. Referred by my mom, I'm excited to become a new patient. From the moment I walked through the front door, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism from Breanna. The office is updated, clean, and welcoming. They pay attention to the patients needs and show extra care for those who may fear the dentist; it immediately put me at ease. My dental hygienist, Corinn, was phenomenal.
