When my husband called to clarify whether this was a one-time requirement or standard policy, the staff member said, "The doctor will decide that," which suggested they had already labeled me as unreliable. The tone was rigid and dismissive from start to finish. What makes this even more disappointing is that we were planning to pursue additional cosmetic dentistry with this office clearly not a small investment but even that didn't shift their attitude. It felt like the front desk was more interested in enforcing punishment than providing patient-centered care. We ultimately chose to take our business elsewhere. I hope the practice becomes aware of how their staff's approach impacts both patient trust and long-term business.

The first time I went, it was the first time I went to a dentist in 15 years. I was fully prepared for the worst. In fact, I knew there was work to be done. They did some x-rays and when the dentist came in, he proclaimed that my teeth were in excellent shape! Nothing to be done! I knew he was wrong, but I kind of convinced myself to believe him. I went back for a cleaning six months later. That's where they found eight cavities. The lady that checked me out tried to tell me about how sometimes people have perfect teeth and then suddenly get a bunch of cavities. No, don't treat me like an idiot. I made appointments for the fillings. The first one seemed fine. I refuse to see that original dentist that couldn't find my cavities, but the other seemed great. The first appointment was for two fillings. For weeks, I've been in constant pain. I've gone through so much ibuprofen you wouldn't believe it. I called to make another appointment to get it checked out and had to wait over a week, but whatever. I went back in to get it fixed and get a couple more fillings. They did the fillings and nothing to fix the tooth that's had me in constant pain for four weeks. The dentist told me that it's normal to feel hot and cold sensitivity for a whole, even though I said repeatedly that hot and cold sensitivity wasn't the problem I was having. She said I should have gotten a root canal then, literally as I was about to leave. I went there to get that one tooth fixed, and they just sort of didn't listen to my issue. Don't go there. They're just bad dentists. I know if you don't go to the dentist, you might think, how bad could they be? I don't need anything fancy. They can be this bad.

Best Dentist you can will ever find!…read more I have been coming to Dr. Feigelson as dental patient for over 20 years. Even though it's 45 minute drive each way to Commack, it's well worth it. I have extreme anxiety when it comes to any dental work but Dr. Feigelson and his staff have always gone above and beyond to ease my anxiety. Catherine gives the best dental cleanings using sweet air to eliminate most pain and anxiety. The front desk staff is extremely accommodating when it comes to billing insurance or setting up a payment plan for uncovered services and setting up future appointments (including reminders when I forget). I am very sensitive to pain and Dr. Feigelson has been well able to manage any pain during treatment. Dr. Feigelson is a kind man and highly professional at all times. The office and equipment are immaculate. I have never been to any practice where I am always seen exactly at my appointment time. I would do not hesitate to recommend this practice to anyone. Excellent dentist that only uses the most advanced technology.
