Came in on a weekday afternoon, was able to get a walk in appointment for a signature service at the very last minute. Experience was great, staff go out of their way to offer you snacks, drinks, and a chance to go to the bathroom before the treatment. This was my first head spa experience, so I wasn't too sure of what to expect. The facial experience was great, the staff member was firm and also gentle, I think the facial strokes she did were both relaxing and effective at helping with my redness and puffiness. Immediately after and the next day, my skin looks visibly brighter and clearer, also more even and smooth, which I was not expecting! My hair is also very soft and light, which also seems to extend into the next day. They give you a small snack and tea when you're done, which was a nice added touch. You are welcomed with a foot soak from the front desk as you are waiting for your turn. Unfortunately my appointment was at 2:15pm, but they didn't take me in until 3:15pm. Oh my!! RUN don't walk to Sapa Headspa!! I had the most incredible experience on their soft opening! It's been a while since my last service and I'm so lucky to have gotten an appointment!! For their soft opening it's a $100 special but usually the service I got is $145. From the moment you walk in you're greeted so warmly, shoes and socks taken and you're given some comfy slippers. A nice hot foot soak with aromatics and you're starting your service. Next your whisked into their treatment room to change and taken to your spa oasis. They put nice warm wraps on your feet and a warm compress for your small back. Then they tuck you in and then your service begins. After that drift off to sleep while your face, neck and head is massaged, cleansed and moisturized. After you get changed they blow dry your hair so you don't freeze on your way out and you are treated to a small dessert and hot tea! You don't want the experience to end! read more

I went with a friend to take advantage of their soft opening deal ($100 for the $145 service) and can I just say it was such a steal! Because even at regular price I feel like it was well worth it. We first came in and everything is so aesthetically pleasing. Then you're greeted by the lovely staff. They bring out a foot bath to begin your treatment and you get to switch out your shoes for their comfy slippers. Then you'll change into this cover up and go to your table. I don't want to give it all away with too much detail, because it's nice for you to just enjoy it and find out for yourself. But you'll get 1.5 hours of nonstop hair washing, facial, and massages from the top of your head all the way down to your shoulders and upper chest area. There are so many ways that helped me to let go and just relax; from the aromatics, ambiance, heat therapy, and the pressure points they were touching, it made it difficult to have a care about anything in the moment. I had Ivy and she's amazing (so attentive and gentle yet the perfect amount of pressure when you want it to be stronger) but my friend said she loved her person too, so I'm sure you can't go wrong with anyone there. Afterwards they even lightly blew dry my hair, which was a nice touch... honestly there were so many little things they did that you can appreciate, like how they even give you hot tea and a dessert to finish your treatment while they return your shoes. If only I could win the lottery so I can go everyday! But I will definitely be back! Also if you are the type of person who loves people to play with your hair, or your favorite part of going to the hair salon is that deep conditioning scalp massage, then this is definitely the place for you! I've been to Mer Head Spa, so I wanted to check out Sapa Head Spa to see how it compares. I would say the service is pretty comparable; however, Mer Head Spa's prices are much lower for an almost completely identical service. I did have a really positive experience at Sapa though. Ivy did my service, and she was incredible! She made me feel very welcomed and comfortable throughout all aspects of my service. Sapa has a really nice atmosphere when you check in and after your service with the foot bath before and refreshments after. It was kind of weird, but I paid for the most expensive package they offer (Sapa Deluxe) and when I went back in the lobby after my service, I was only offered tea and no pastry when everyone who was done before and right after me received a nice tray with a pastry and tea. I had to ask reception for a pastry and she made me feel kind of weird for asking and gave me one wrapped in a napkin. For how much I paid, it would've been nice to receive the same post-treatment refreshments as everyone else around me. I will probably go to Mer Head Spa next time just due to the differences in price. It's also nice that Mer Head Spa is joined with a salon, so you're able to add on a complete salon blowout if desired, so you don't have to leave with wet hair. read more
