I got to the hamburger joint only to find out it is drive through/takeout only. So I returned here and managed to snag a parking spot that had just opened up.. It looked promising from the big smiles on people leaving. I went in and the large party just in front of me was just getting seated. But it took me a while to get seated because I wasn't noticed. Once seated, it took another long while for a server to appear with chips and a very tasty salsa which proved the best part of the meal. Looking over the menu and the "tourist"Mexico decor and colors, I could tell it was distributor-driven. The beers and the desserts had obviously been distributor "suggestions". My experience over the last 35 years eating out on the road several hundred times a year made it obvious. I decided on a burrito plate and asked the server which chile was spiciest. He said the red was very spicy so I went with the burrito chile colorado. C'mon dude, this is New Mexico! That chile wasn't spicy at all! Utterly bland is the word! So dinner was a big disappointment.. When I was done, I was asked if I wanted dessert. I asked if anything was homemade. Nothing. It all came industrially produced by a food service company. This place is not my style. I won't be back.

Doña María has earned a permanent spot on our list of must-visit restaurants every time we're back in town. The service was exceptional from start to finish. Karen took incredible care of us and our family. Even though we were a fairly needy group, she was consistently professional, friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Her positive attitude made an already great dining experience even more memorable. I can't say enough how amazing she was! From the breakfast burritos to dinner, everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and authentic. The homemade tortillas were absolutely outstanding and complemented every meal perfectly. The portions were generous, and every dish reminded us why we love coming back home. The restaurant has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. It's the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy a great meal, and feel right at home. Overall, between the incredible food, exceptional service, and inviting atmosphere, Doña María has become one of our go-to spots whenever we're in Farmington. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic New Mexican food and genuine hospitality. We can't wait to come back on our next visit!

This was a first for me at breakfast but I kinda loved it. Grabbed the chilaquiles with green chili added some chorizo to it as well. So much flavor!! As she starts to set it down I mentioned I'm sorry I didn't order that might be another table. No it comes with it. Holy moly this is a ton of food for 15 bucks!!! I will be back forsure. The lovely lady gave me a to go cup of coffee for my drive through the snow to the airport in Durango and wished me safe travels! I will be back when in town again for sure!!

First off,…read moreas the hostess was preparing our table, she disinfected it with a single use wipe and then dried it with a clean paper towel so our menus would not stick to it. I appreciate this attention to detail. Complimentary hot chips and delicious salsa were provided. Drink service was fast, our waitress was personable, and the food was excellent. I ordered the Tampico and my husband ordered the Ixtapa. I'm celiac and had no reactions to my gluten free meal. I love that our tacos were served on half a corn taco shell to keep them free of the sauce from the other items on the plate. Nobody likes a soggy taco that falls apart, and Rubia's knows this, so they prevent it from happening. Something so small is so smart and made such a big difference. Their beer and cocktail menu was extensive. The biggest compliment I can give is that nearly every table was taken at 2:00 on a weekday, and still our food was awesome and the service was attentive. We found our new spot :)
