Brigantine Santucci's Chicken Caesar Sandwhich is on point! Served was great and highly recommend 10/10

Okay, this is probably the worst pizza I've ever eaten. Let me start with the only positives: the server and cleanliness deserve 6 stars. That's where the stars end. Everything else is pure shtick. The whole "square pizza" and "it's cool to be square" gimmick doesn't make up for bad food. They bake the tomato sauce on top of the cheese, which might be cute in theory, but in reality it's a mess. The dough isn't thin, isn't Sicilian, and isn't anything worth talking about as it just tastes bad. The sauce is bitter, almost like it was spoiling or someone doesn't know how to make pizza sauce. The cheese? Honestly, just horrible. Don't fall for the comedy act. You've been warned. Go anywhere else for pizza! read more

We got wings and pizza to go. It was tasty. My only lament was that it just wasn't terribly hot. We ordered, drove straight there and got it... drove the couple Minutes home.. just seemed as if it wasn't piping hot when it went in the box. But I'd definitely give them another shot because the pizza was different and tasty. read more

This was pretty bad yet pretty expensive pizza. They call at Square Pizza, and it is a thick crust style. But I have to say it was a total bummer. I ordered the vegetarian special large pizza. In addition to a bunch of vegetables, it says that it also has "extra cheese". It's pricey, $30 for the pie, which is about 50% more than a veggie extra cheese pizza would cost in Philadelphia. When I brought it home, people thought that it was tomato pie because it did not appear to have any cheese on it! I think there was some cheese, but I'm not sure - you sure couldn't taste it and you couldn't see it. And it surely wasn't extra cheese! The vegetables were fine, though not particularly generous. Taste was OK, but not especially flavorful - not bad, but based on taste alone, not something I would order again, even apart from the skimpy or absent cheese and poor value. With tax, and the very annoying tip that comes up on their machine for which I gave 15% because I didn't know how disappointing the pizza be (and the bad pizza is probably not the fault of the workers there since they must have clear instructions as a chain), it cost $37.50 for a large pizza. The people who work there were very nice, and a pizza was ready when they said it would be so no complaints there. You can see from these photos what the slices look like. This place has made up and paid for reviews. This pizza is not good , is it better than Costco pizza? Zero flavor. I've seen better pizza in the lunch room at Spotswood high school. Not a fan of this pie...at all. Firstly, I think the placement of cheese then the sauce on top doesn't work. It takes away from cooking the cheese properly and bringing out its flavor. Personally I love burnt edges on the mozzarella. And on top of it (literally), the sauce was so bland even the sausage didn't help the flavor!! Not a big fan of doughy thick-crusted pizza but if it tasted good, it wouldn't matter. Also I drove to pick it up because I wasn't gonna pay a $5 delivery fee (assuredly takes away from the driver's tips). Staff was pretty miserable too. Definitely not worth the $33 including tip... Table service staff was very friendly and courteous. We had a large group and they were quick to accommodate and remained attentive! Looking forward to the new outdoor seating to be completed. The pizza and salad were good, though the pizza could've been more flavorful. My son raved about the brownie in a rare display of excitement over food from him. read more

This is a 12 piece boneless wing, tiny chicken nuggets for $20 dollars. I feel like we got robbed. We had to wait 3 hours for boneless wings and a couple of sandwiches with fries. Granted it was Fourth of July weekend but still. Food is extremely overpriced for what you get. read more

Exceptional pizza and a great addition to the island. Some issues handling the influx of orders on MDW, which they need to work on and fix their ordering system, but it's fantastic pizza. As a Philly native who has loved Santuccis for years the brigantine location is a disappointment. I no longer eat cheese and order tomato pie instead since I've always loved the Santuccis sauce. This is the 3rd time I've tried to give this location my business and all three times after reiterating several times that I wanted no cheese or half cheese they put cheese on the whole pizza. All three times. We literally went over the order 3 times today with the cashier and the cook. The cashier was very nice but I don't understand how the cooks just don't understand instruction about putting no cheese on the pizza. Not to mention the pizza looked like slop for $34 anyway. This is in no way the Santuccis I know. And we will not be back. We try to support local but this place is a lost cause. Clearly the Philly OGs didn't train these cooks. Never again. read more

I am from Philadelphia and was excited when I heard that Santucci's was coming to Brigantine. They didn't disappoint. The pizza was prepared the same as the original Santucci's. This is going to be an honest review of this Santucci's. There is a reason it is called a "soft" opening. We cannot expect them to be at the efficiency or quality of NE Philly. I have been waiting MONTHs for them to open. The place is beautiful. The people are very friendly. The prices are fair, given the quality (not much different than Andre's, Aversa's or Ernest and Son) It is a real nice addition to Brigantine. I expect to eat here at least once a week. I will still patronize the other places as well. Not since Nino's have I been this enthusiastic about a pizza place on the island. I had to try a bit of everything to "test" the quality. I very much enjoyed the "works" pizza, a chicken, spinach and provolone sandwich and fried calamari. Everything was excellent. But...tt will take time to work the bugs out. Cleaning tables, servicing the large demand, the timing of the order (everything came out at different times), That is ok, we must be patient and keep coming. They deserve it, given their commitment. They can't have ten people working if the demand isn't there. I have high expectations that all of this will be resolved in a few months. Hopefully, everyone remembers La Scala when they opened. Think of how much work had to be done and they got it together and have a great product as well. I do feel a bit guilty as I probably won't be at McHugh's as much. I certainly have given them thousands of dollars over the years. As I am writing this, I see they have 8 reviews at 2.5 stars. As someone who has eaten pizza all over the globe, this is a 4 plus quality establishment. I will be a regular, for sure. read more

I was hoping so much that it was good pizza. Unfortunately Brigantine is still severely pizza challenged. I got a personal pie and was glad I didn't get a large. The crust was flavorless as was the sauce. The cheese under the sauce doesn't work for me. It destroys the texture. Makes it less enjoyable to eat. I won't go back. Santucci's exceeded our expectations! Sauce is great, chicken parm sandwich was delicious (bread is the best we've had), chicken fingers are not the standard flat ones-which is a good thing. Pizza 3 stars, service 1 star. Used on line app at 11a to order 2 small pizzas for pick up at 115p, got to store at 110p, got text that it was ready at 120p, told that they were busy, and that our pizzas were in the oven, and will be ready in a few mins by two separate employees at 2 different times. Pizza wasn't ready to take out until 145p, not sure they started baking them until we got there . Pizza was good, but the online drop downs requests for extra sauce, light cheese and well done were ignored. Clearly this new place needs to smooth out the edges, will try them again, but not too soon; hopefully they will improve their efficiency next time. read more
