Although their approaches were different, both salespeople were knowledgeable, courteous, and willing to go the extra mile to help. The vehicles I viewed were both appealing and met my requirements. I would have been comfortable purchasing either one if I had felt the dealership was interested in offering a fair deal. Unfortunately, that was not my impression. Based on conversations I overheard, I also got the sense that other customers may have felt similarly. I was told multiple times that the dealership does not lose deals over financing. However, the financing rates offered to me matched the rate I had already secured through a third party, and there was little willingness to negotiate either the financing terms or the vehicle price. If that is the dealership's policy, it would be better communicated upfront in its marketing and sales process. In both cases, I was encouraged to use dealership-affiliated financing, even though doing so would have left me in a worse financial position than using the financing I had already arranged. I also found it unusual that the second vehicle, which was priced lower than the first, came with higher taxes and registration costs. Overall, I found McGovern's negotiation process lacking in transparency and authenticity, and as a result I will not be returning. I do not feel I can trust the management team. I do, however, commend the salespeople for their professionalism and strong interpersonal skills.

Well that day was over 5 months ago, guess they didn't care or just didn't want my business.
