My wife and I have been here a few times before and atmosphere and food has always been good. This time I got the Chicken Kebab plate with Greek salad and Pita bread with Tzatziki and Hummus, which was very tasty, but portions have gotten smaller. My wife got the Lamb Greek bowl which was ok. We decided to DoorDash tonight and this place had 4.5 stars. We weren't as impressed. The food we received was good but unfortunately there wasn't enough of it. My partner ordered the veggie platter, which he said was okay, and I ordered a gyro sandwich. At first glance the gyro sandwich appears to be loaded with meat and I immediately thought I wouldn't be able to finish it. But as soon as I opened the sandwich I realized it was a mound of lettuce and onions with a little meat covering the top. I did pay $5-6 more for an additional serving of gyro meat and tzatziki which I clearly didn't receive with my order. The gyro itself was good (not dry), it just needed way more meat. The felafels were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. My husband had the lamb gyro which was one of the best we've ever tasted! I had the chicken kebabs with rice and loved it ! This gem was a great find. Small restaurant in Stater Bros. parking lot nestled between a hair salon and print shop. Service was exceptional with offer of table and drinks right after we entered. Started with the Feta, Kalamata olives and tzatziki appetizer which is was a relatively small but tasty dish and before it was finished our entrees were served with a smile. I've had minimal experience with Greek food but this was delicious. The Gyro was ordered by my sister who loves Greek anything, this was one of the best. The food and service was so good it wasn't a big deal that it was just a small fast food like place. Will definitely return to try more delicious food. read more

Traditional Greek food with great service. Went on a Thursday night when the street fair as happening. Place was packed so we decided to stop in. Avogolemeno soup was great as was the Greek salad. I decided to try Santorini while looking for takeout in the area. My group and I were very disappointed. We spent $45 on an appetizer, salad and entree to share. At first we were disappointed cause they only gave us 4 tiny falafels but once we couldn't even stab them with a fork, we didn't care that there were so few and so small cause we couldn't eat them anyway. The salad was a good portion and looked good but had no dressing on it and didn't come with any dressing. The kabob plate came with more undressed salad, a couple small pieces of pita and no rice. My friend found a very questionable looking something in her meal that grossed us all out. We were really disappointed and would not recommend this place. read more

Went to Santorinis on Vista Chino because my daughter, who was visiting, wanted "Mediterranean food ." Found it on Yelp. Was a little disappointed as we drove up to it in the shopping center. It had the ambiance on a "Dairy Delight " with pictures on the wall of the menu items, 6 tables and linoleum floor. Didn't take long to change our attitude. The server was great. Was there quickly with the menus, answered our questions with patience and made recommendations based on our preferences. And those photos on the walls of each dish were really helpful in understanding what the item was. I had a lamb gyro with Greek salad and a chicken lemon soup. Delicious! How much? 21 bucks. A bargain. I was so impressed we went there for lunch the following day. I had the same exact thing. Only now it was on the special, 13 bucks. WOW! And it was the same server. Extra special. I ordered the mediterranean charbroiled salmon, the salmon was cooked/seasoned perfectly. I don't eat diary so instead of the feta and Tzatziki I ordered hummus. For newbies to Greek Cuisine, Pastitsio (also called Pastichio) is noodles, tomato sauce, and ground beef topped with a fluffy white cream sauce and baked until the top turns brown. I got a huge portion with free side salad and pita, and planned to take half home with me. Plans are for fools. I ate the whole thing! The side salad was primarily chopped iceberg lettuce that had the most minimal, watery, bland "dressing" I ever tasted. The small cup of "sauce" was fairly meh. I've really tried to like this place. Not many options for falafels in the area, but they continue to disappoint. They advertise a lunch special for $8.99 on their sign banner in the window despite it being $9.99. Not a big deal, but they know it's wrong and do nothing to change it for months now. The falafels are hit and miss. mostly a miss. They taste like they are stale. I gave them another chance today. Drove across town to be there when they opened since I needed to order lunch and get back to work, only to be told that nobody was there to work in the kitchen. could I wait maybe 15 minutes for someone to show up. I had been getting takeout about once a week but the food is ALWAYS hit or miss. This last time the Lamb Kebab was soooo salty I could not eat it. I go there often and had become friendly with Heather, the server. She knows me by name. I told her the last order I got was too salty to eat and basically she told me too bad after the hundreds of dollars I have spent there over the past few months not too mention all the tips for a takeout order!!! Food is too hit and miss and Customer Service sucks. I have had problems with other orders like the falafels which I couldn't even bite they were so hard. I highly recommend to go somewhere else. Service was great but the food quality was terrible. There are many of these locations with similar names and we picked the wrong one (our bad), but the quality is below average at best. The falafel was reheated and mushy, not crunchy outer layer at all. The meat for the chicken gyro is dark meat or shaved scraps, not sure which, but they should specify that. Also in a sketchy strip mall. I would avoid this place at all costs. Thankfully nobody became ill from eating here, so that's a plus. read more
