Cute, small restaurant in downtown area. Prices are reasonable, and the food was good. Not the best, but not bad for a one time dinner/lunch. Service was normal, but there wasn't many people. They had live music playing which was a nice touch. I wouldn't mind going back! My only complaint was that they couldn't get the cook on my steak properly done.

This attractive restaurant is in a sunken courtyard directly across from the Mission. It is dominated by a large tree rising through the open took and spreading it's limbs to shade the whole place. It is attractive decorated with string lights and lanterns hanging from the limbs. There is also an upper seating area (step stairs) with a nicer view of the Mission. I started with their Cadillac margarita. It was nice, made with a good tequila and with a nice orange not too the flavor. Meats are grilled by the owner/chef at one side of the courtyard. Since this is booked as a steakhouse I had the arrachera. This was served on a wooden cutting board with a half eat of corn, slightly cooked broccoli and carrots, a grilled scallion, and a baked potato already dressed with choices and butter with crema on the side. The meat was tasty and quite tender for a Mexican steak. I like veggies crisp, but these were pretty much raw. All in all a nice plate of food. My wife had the fish tacos and was offered the choice of yellowtail or snapper. Her cubes of yellowtail were nicely grilled with just a hint of crispiness. The strange thing was that the fish on the tacos was completely naked...no salsa, no cabbage, nada. She resorted to line juice and some of my crema to listen them up a bit. They were served with a nice side salad. So not a great meal technically, but the fun and pleasant staff, and attractive setting made it a pleasant meal and worth the expense.

Arrachera molcajete- salsa was ok but very spicy. Beans overly salty.

This place offers patio seating with live music in the center of the city. We listened to a very talented saxophone player play music from the 90s. That was the best part of this dining experience. The food was so-so and their house wine was overly sweet for our liking. The bill included a 15% gratuity yet our waiter still asked if we would like to leave a tip- so review your bill.

Tourist trap!!! Nasty disgusting place! Flies everywhere landing on our food. The servers were not doing anything. About the flies. We waited an hour to get our food. Food sucks! Service sucks! They were confused about billing, charge us more US$50 for half cook shrimp. This is the worst dining experience I have ever had.

We had such a good meal here the first night we had to come back and try something else on the menu a couple days later. I have gluten and dairy allergies and the Chef made sure I would have nothing to worry about. For an appetizer we had yellowtail carpaccio I ate the lobster with garlic butter the first evening and the second evening I had the shrimp ajillo. Our server Samantha was very attentive. The chef Carlos came and checked to see how we liked our meals and was very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Loved this place so much! The ambiance and live music was the perfect combination. The lobster was some of the best lobster I've ever had! I keep trying to remember that flavor. I would eat it every day if I could!

We had a creative and delicious meal at Santo Cielo Cochina this evening. We tried this new restaurant on the recommendation of Gabriel, the proprietor of Semillas El Gavilan Organic Market. We were delighted by the quality of the food, and the good service we received. We shared our meals - a gigantic lobster tail with a caramelized garlic butter (so yummy), and a chili relleno stuffed with the BEST shrimp (perfectly cooked) and cheese, in a green sauce that was super tasty. Thank you, Carlos, for sharing your culinary skills with us! I could go on, although, I will close with we highly recommend this restaurant!

Wow!! This is the best steak and seafood in Mexico! Amazing restaurant! I highly recommend! The flys can be a little bad at sun down, but it's still worth it and they will put a fan up.

Over priced frozen packaged steak. Terrible service. This place is a scam of an upscale restaurant.

Domingo's Place Steakhouse - Porterhouse and baked potato (not the best to be honest)

Extremely expensive by local standards, but wow, what a treat. So worth it. I think the steaks, Porterhouse, T-bone, ribeye, were all $675 pesos. NY strip might have been less. There were other options, shrimp Alfredo, grilled, chicken, lobster... so what. Had a perfectly cooked rare T-bone, salad with REAL HOMEMADE RANCH dressing (virtually nonexistent here), excellent clam chowder (to be fair, needed salt) & baked potato cooked to perfection - not undercooked & slightly too hard, as is so common. Great service. But the meat was amaaaaazing. Well seasoned, lovely smokey, mezquite flavor. I was blown away by how tender. I forgot beef could be this fine. My friend was in raptures over the rib eye, which was half the circumference of my meat, but 2ce as thick & cooked med well. Restaurant was very dark at night, but there's wonderful ambience with hand made antique (& obsolete) concrete floor tiles, wood carvings, old ranchero antiques & cool lamps & lights made from gourds & local cardon cactus skeleton, iron & chain. A lot to look at. Other expats gratefully eat here when they go to Loreto for Dr. appointments or supplies. A prized treat we don't have in our town. If you're a fancypants gringo who routinely drops $65 on a steak up north, you may not be impressed with the accompanying side dishes, but this caliber of beefsteak is exceptional here. Skilled mezquite grilling lifts it to divinity. Bless them.

They have two different steak prices on the menu. The first and tourist price but lowest is the ungraded steak. It's meat, but very poor quality. Then they have the other steak prices, approx 300 pesos higher and VERY tourist priced. It is supposedly choice beef. Do t know, didn't go there. Sides are ok. Drinks are of course priced high and not very strong or flavorful. Overall, a tourist place for those wanting some decoration for a change and willing to fork over the dough. Otherwise, there are other places to try for beef that has flavor and tenderness.
