Lol found this mat for 25 cents ..

You have to come here with the attitude ready to dig for something awesome , and cheap . They have tons and tons of vendors with loads of stuff ! If you're not in the mood you may be turned off, but if you have a good attitude you are sure to find something that will put a huge smile on your face . If anything you're sure to go home with some fresh flowers for only 5 bucks . There's a vendor here every weekend with a great variety of flowers for unbelievably cheap !

I love swap meets. I can spend the whole day just going through the stuff for sale. This location is mainly used garage sale stuff. Still cool to find something for dirt cheap. It's located at the Santee drive thru. Just drive up and pay a dollar and drive in. Best to get their early. Most of the sellers start leaving around early noon.

This is my favorite swap meet. They have more garage sale like vendors instead of the cheesy vendors selling blankets and bracelets lol. It's not huge which I like because you can get through it in an 1-2 hours depending on your pace of course. I have found great stuff for awesome prices. Definitely the best prices in town!

I got an herb garden for $5!!

I am a bargain hunter! This place called my name and I answered. After spending $1.50 and having a nice conversation with the car full of friends that the drive in brought back memories of younger days, we were in! Parking was simple enough. Once out of the car, there was a pile of stuff to be found! It is like one huge community yard sale at this swap meet. You can find tons of stuff that others would probably be selling at a yard sale. You just have to take the time to look around and believe me there is an eyeful to see! (when they say you can find everything and the kitchen sink they are not yanking your chain - I literally did see a kitchen sink! hahahahahaha) My friends and I each each came home with a bag full of goodies. We each approached the swap meet with a reusable shopping bag and all left with the bag having some sort of treasure in the bags. Items that we found on this adventure: video games, gaming accessories, plants, a ceramic piggy bank, brand new in the box shower head. For my treasures: a herb garden in a pot for $5, a flower plant for $1, a brand new in the box Waterpik Shower Head. I did manage to control myself and not come home with a ton of other stuff...like the wicker baskets and iron plant stands. (. . . next time . . . )

    $11 total!

PRO-TIP: BRING CASH…read more They have ATM's on site, but of course there's a fee. You need cash to even purchase tickets in, so keep that in mind. There's different prices for different days. On a Sunday afternoon, it was $3 per person. For frequent shoppers and vendors, I think they have stamp cards, which is neat. We had to speed run this trip because we had plans later on in the day, but we saw there was a swap meet across the street from the Brazilian restaurant that we were getting brunch at and nothing prepared us for how MASSIVE it is. I grew up going to swap meets, with one down the street for me, but this is hands down the BIGGEST one that I've been to. So big that my friends and I got split up immediately and it was somewhat difficult to find each other and leave towards the end since there's just rows and rows and aisles and aisles each and which way you turn with some dead ends here and there. There's food vendors and of course, lots of trinket, electronics, thrifted, home goods, and so much more. There's plants, fresh fruit, nuts, a neat little accordion (not sure what it's called but it's antique looking and little mechanical bits and pieces to it) that a performer had, jewelry, toys, video games, unique artwork, school supplies, clothes, etc. Before entering, we saw a vendor selling 6 pieces of clothing for $10. Friend got a bunch of accessories and jewelry for under $20. I got a cool 2 headed T-rex for $2. Some cool things were vintage Beanie Babies and the Panda Express restaurant signs? I would love to come back here and thoroughly parse through everything. Get there early in the morning and then spend hours here.

To look at a bunch of dusty clothes that look like they've been sitting in somebody's garage since 2010. It's literally just an overpriced yard sale at this point. And the vendors act like they're running luxury boutiques. One dude straight up pulled out his phone to Google an item in front of me and then tried to convince me it was "rare." If you want eBay prices, go list it on eBay. Nobody is walking around a swap meet carrying $200+ cash for crusty sweaters and busted toys. Be serious. Also, there's a vendor everyone should avoid. He's a bigger guy with a hat and glasses who has all his stuff thrown directly on the ground. He was yelling at people over looking at items. He tried to sell a kids toy car and a random doll for $75 and refused to separate them. When someone said he should just sell it online, he got loud and defensive like he was about to square up over a toy. He even told a customer to "fix" how they put something down. Sir, this is a swap meet, not a museum. The whole energy here is weird. Overpriced junk, rude people, and zero reason to come back. The $3 entry is already too much. Honestly, I'd rather go sit in my car in silence. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.

What I love most about this place is the variety. There are rows and rows of vendors selling just about everything you can imagine. From fruit trees and fresh produce to yard sale treasures, mattresses, furniture, and even brand-new items it's like a giant treasure hunt. If you enjoy browsing and negotiating, many vendors are open to bargaining on prices. There are also plenty of food and drink stands if you need a snack while walking around. From my many visits to Spring Valley Swap Meet, I can see you guys got it all under control, from directing traffic because it looks like a mess but you got this, the staff clears the foot and car traffic real quick. The parking gets very crowded but be patient, you will find a stall, after we parked our rental car, I was worried about how I would make it across safely without getting hit, but we made it across thanks to the attendant for directing traffic like junior JPO's. What can you do with $1. FREE parking- admission to the Spring Valley Swap Meet, the greatest deal ever!! Get a stamp if you need to re-enter. This Spring Valley Swap Meet is SUPER HUGE and is outdoors located in Spring Valley, of course. They operate only on Saturday and Sundays from 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, wide variety of vendors selling everything from antiques, vintage items, to clothes, electronics, furniture, mortuary plots ( I saw 2 different business offering this) household goods, plants, and local produce. There are food vendors, bar for alcohol near entrance, and entertainment too! I enjoy coming out here to the swap meet, we try to squeeze it in despite so much to do but so little time. I just love to look at and shop for plants and also get the cheap, colorful fruits for the hubby! I like to browse and at the same time get our steps in. What did I get during this recent to Spring Valley, some new with tag storage, household items from Target, Toys for my friend's daughter, and fruits! The fruits are so cheap, strawberry for $2. a pack or 3/$5., cherries $2. lb. even avocados! I wish prices are this low back on Oahu. Every time I see the chayote fruit, its Mexican kine with pokey thorns, gives me chicken skin, how would you remove the skin without getting hurt? Although the swap meet is outdoors, I can imagine the heat during the Summer, we normally visit during the Fall/Spring time so the weather is much cooler. It does get hot towards the afternoon but we are out of there by then. This swap meet is huge so we normally don't go around the entire place, we give ourselves a time limit of one hour, quick stop in and go! I look forward to visiting Spring Valley SM again!
