We had a great baby shower here for my daughter in June (2026)! It was a lovely event! ---that's…read morebecause of the work WE put into it!! I'm extremely disappointed because on the day of the event, the coordinator, Stephanie, was not there. Would she have made a difference in the day? Probably not, but I feel it was tacky she wasn't there to oversee the event. The two staff ladies that did work it were great. Very friendly! The event coordinator put it all on them. We ordered pastries and muffins and they were AWFUL. Dry, blah and nothing tasty or pretty. The assorted fruit was pineapple, cantaloupe and honeydew. That was not only bland looking but tasted bland. The bacon was good! ‍Overall, the food was nothing exciting AT ALL. For the amount of money we spent, the food was a D+ at best. Thank god we could bring in our own desserts!! The worst part of this whole event was NO ONE ever contacted us to see how our event was! How were the staff? How was the food? How can we improve? Could we have done anything to make the day better? Etc. etc. ----THAT'S what you do in customer service! A business should follow up. I did try contacting the owners (via googling to find their names), left a message and again, NO RESPONSE. WOW. They took the money and ran!! So, on that note, I will not recommend this place to anyone. The event coordinator was very firm the entire time---you can't do this, you can't do that----and EVERY time I talked with her she repeated herself constantly . She kind of took some of the joy out of it. I took one of my friends to see the place (who was hosting with me!) and Stephanie was cold and not the least bit friendly. Again, very disappointed in her. Day=great!! Daughter= happy and beautiful!! Guests= we had a place full and they enjoyed themselves!! Food=awful Customer service= terrible

That has yet to happen, but I did enjoy a nice weekend brunch there with my girlfriend and a friend from work. The bar is super comfortable and cozy. It's such a relaxing and comfortable spot. It's not perfectly designed for a dining experience, but it's greatly shaped and laid out for a bar. My girlfriend and I shared their sizable French press coffee to start. 30 oz of the Lodestar Blend from Texas Coffee Traders. To eat, I ordered the Bagel Breakfast Sandwich, which is your classic everything bagel with egg, bacon, cheddar, and mayo. I added their potatoes as well. The sandwich was good and flavorful, while the potatoes were decent. They could've used a little salt, which I didn't see on the table and never bothered to ask about, so that's on me. My girlfriend got their Avocado Toast with an egg on top. Can never go wrong with some avocado on glorious sourdough bread. Lastly, my friend got their Dutch Baby Pancake, which I tried a bite of, and whew, what a delight. Ruby's bar does a great job at making you feel comfortable. It really helps generate a good conversation on a Sunday morning, just from how relaxed the atmosphere feels. I'm sold on this spot, and I love how tucked away it is, though still close to the downtown area of Round Rock. RIYL: A lil brunch at a cute lil spot.

Toured this place in 2025 and was somewhat disturbed by the spray foam insulation ceilings, but…read moredecided to sign on anyway as the rest of the venue was so lovely. We were assured in writing that the ceilings would be taken care of by the day of my wedding. I asked for updates all year and was told every time "they're not done yet, but don't worry, it will get done by your wedding day," Spoiler: that did not happen Ceilings aside, there were good and bad things about this experience. On the day of the rehearsal, my foot fell through a rotten plank of wood and they immediately remedied that which was amazing. Our advisor was very kind and helpful throughout the experience and answered our endless questions. The day of the wedding, however, our advisor was not scheduled to be working, so he was not there and the only staff who were there had not met us before and, due to a language barrier, had a very tough time communicating our needs. Several things went wrong the day-of like no electricity in the ceremony space, tables and chairs incorrectly laid out (several guests had nowhere to sit), and those ceilings were still unfinished (also wasps live in the insulation and attacked one of my bridesmaids). We brought up these concerns to our advisor and never received a response. Like, for weeks. We followed up. Nothing. Then, we get a check in the mail which IMO was not for enough money, but still no communication. It's like the customer service relationship immediately ends on the day of the wedding. Just bizarre. If they ever fix these ceilings, I'd say book it and ensure that your advisor will be working the day of your wedding.

I don't think it's acceptable to not have actual ceilings and call yourself a wedding venue. I don't know why they are dragging their feet on finishing the ceilings, but it's a real drawback and I'd be willing to bet it's the reason some people don't sign on with them (myself, for one).

If you are planning an event I would recommend you LEAVE THE DOORS LOCKED. Otherwise, beautiful venue, wish I didn't sweat for 4 hours in formal wear, or that this wasn't a venue in Texas.

We were able to utilize the vast seating area, the kitchen and the parking with no concerns. It's a great place for a medium sized company meeting of 40 or so people. The obvious problem I spotted was that you are relegated to street parking since they only have a handful of spaces in back. Some of the pros I will mention are the fact that they do actually have an elevator off to the side of the building. Upstairs in the Center they do have a full kitchen complete with refrigerator and dishwasher. There is a nice outdoor balcony with additional seating and there are two glass garage doors which can be raised. They have a nice lounge area in the corner along with two bathrooms located behind the kitchen. There is a 6 x 8' flat screen for presentations on the side wall along with a smaller 3 x 4' one on the other wall. They also have plenty of tables and chairs for the event space if you need them. There does seem to be an area which appears to be a stage area, although it only has two plugs, but it does have some effect lighting. As for the cons, I've already mentioned that you will be competing for street parking. The upstairs room itself has no sound deadening material so it gets very loud. No laminate or carpeted flooring, just concrete. Basically, this is just a good acceptable 31/2 star venue to host corporate meetings or quiet remembrances.
