My insurance covers $300.00. They instructed me to a wall with about 10 frames that were cheap looking and cost about $20.00 so they're trying to tell me I have to pay $280.00 for single vision lenses that are just for reading. When I asked again, I was told yes, this is what they covered. Would not break down the lenses and frames separately. I called a few optical stores and the going prices for regular single vision polycarbonate lenses are between $60.00 to $120.00 dollars so are they trying to charge $180.00 dollars for frames that look like mediicaid frames. Do not buy glasses from this place and shop around as they are trying to rip off customers. I understand making a profit but cheap looking frames for almost $200.00, I don't think so. Reading glasses in pharmacy look better than these frames.

That's the reason I had some issues with my glasses recently. He gave me a new prescription for contacts and for new eye glasses. As always, he was great at answering all the questions I had. When I visited his website, I noticed his office takes many different insurance carriers. After you get your prescription from Dr. Grover, you can order your contacts from WalMart or online by mail order since Wal-Mart has a partnership with 1800Contacts.com. WalMart carries Johnson & Johnson Acuvue lens. It's nice to get them via mail order so you don't have to come back to their office to pick them up. There are so many different places to buy glasses and contact these days, it is important to keep a copy of your prescription. I would highly recommend Dr. Grover if you need an annual eye exam or need contact lens.

Went in here today for an eye exam and to obtain a new set of glasses; it was a really good…read moreexperience. I set up an appointment online for the eye exam and checked into the front desk. I then filled out a form indicating my medical history along with signed authorization. A staff member then had me look into 3 machines to check the health of my eyes. No longer do you have to get eye drops and experience blurred vision for hours. The new machine they use just requires you to look inside the eye opening and wait for a a green light to come on in order for it to take a detailed photo. I was then escorted to Angela, the doctor, who performed the reading exam and lens determination. She was very quick and friendly. I was told they store your eye examination records there for 5 years. The final step was to pick my frames and choose the options. In the next room, I was served by a couple of staff who were very helpful. I tried on a few pairs of glasses, with the staff suggesting a couple of different styles. Most frames ranged in cost from $200 to $250. I eventually went with some nice spring-loaded RayBan's, with the extra options of progressives, non-glare, and transition lenses. They made the measurements of the glasses on my face and put the order into the system. They are due to come in within two weeks. Apparently they are made at a central factory and then shipped to the store. An email will be sent to me when they arrive. Such a simple and smooth process!
