Absolutely disgusting. Staff are awful and unprofessional and had personal arguments in front of customers (apparently J hit on R's boyfriend and she's not having it). Food is terrible. Ceaser salad dressing tasted like it expired sometime last week. Ordered a steak that was 33% gristle and fat, I know that it's a risk you take with certain cuts of meat so I might have let that go if it was the only thing. The mushrooms and onions I asked with my steak were forgotten by the kitchen until I asked again as then came swimming in whatever water I presume they were canned in. I just wanted a decent evening out but I am dissatisfied disappointed and angry. I did tip 20% but only because the server was clearly doing his best in spite of being hamstrung by the rest of the staff and I didn't want to screw him over. If you want a better steak in Ada, most of the cheeseburger places in town will do a better job than they can. Edit: And now I've got food poisoning! This just keeps getting better. read more

First time, I had NY Strip and it wasn't bad. Next I had the ribs and they were ok. I just has the 16oz sirloin and, if you look at the picture, it was about 6% fat and inedible (to me). Staff is nice but I don't come for the staff. Food is mediocre and not worth another try. read more

I've had good and bad steaks here. It's a gamble every time you come. Definitely not the best steakhouse I've eaten at.

Took almost 15 mins to get anyone to ask me what I wanted to drink. AT THE BAR! Lol. Not a good first impression

Worst place ever ... fried pickles not even done ... my quesadilla wasn't done right when they did fix it ... It was cold ... cold fries, burnt burger ... horrible service our waitress Mesa was more worried about her friends at the next table ... I wouldn't recommend.. read more

We checked in and they were already fairly busy. We waited 20 minutes to be seated, no big deal. We waited another 5 minutes for Menus and to be able to place our drink order. Finally got our drinks after three different trips to get them right. Next we ordered an appetizer & a diner salad along with our entree. 37 minutes in after placing our order.....no drink refills, no appetizer, no rolls or salad. We next got up to tell the Manager that we wish to leave and pay for our drinks. He says don't worry about it and says I'm sorry, along with a sorry from the waiter. Then we had to go somewhere else to eat, which all together turned into about a 3 hour adventure just to eat. Doubt we'll be back unless they call in Robert Irvin or Gordon Ramsey for some consulting help. read more

Baked potatoe came out Luke warm an my steak was suppose to be medium an came out well done...asked for another potatoe an it wasn't editable either... wouldn't waste my money coming back... read more

Well I had high hopes and was sorely disappointed. We both ordered medium chopped sirloin with onions and mushrooms. House salads were passable , hot rolls light and fluffy ( only saving grace to the meal) but our sides of sweet potato was lukewarm and my mashed potato was just a smashed baked potato which was fine but wasn't warm enough to melt the butter. NOW-- chopped sirloins ordered medium. One was over done one was medium rare. So not pleased there but flavor was good. My husband preferred the rarer one so we switched and we were fine. Just can't recommend nor will we be back. read more

Always crowded for some reason despite the bad food. Over salted and bland. Why pay $70 for this?? I suppose it's popular because they never enforced or encouraged masks even at the height of the pandemic. The peanuts were the best part of the meal. read more

The servers are wearing masks below their noses rendering them useless. I rarely order steak at a restaurant but was hoping a steak in Oklahoma was half way decent. I was wrong. Ordered it medium and it came out shoe leather. Bourbon selection wasn't decent enough to make up for it. Keep driving. read more

I ordered take out and when I went to my room the pasta was mushy and looked like mashed potatoes. I would have returned it but we were in the middle of a snow storm and didn't want to get back out. Service is ok but could be better. Nice ambiance but the place could really use a good cleaning read more

For a chain this is a great steakhouse. I have tried many items on the menu. The steaks are seasoned well and tasty, cooked to perfection. Ribeye is a great choice as well as the Lynchburg steak it has a bourbon glaze on it. Looking for something lighter? They have an excellent caesar salad in which you can also add sliced steak or chicken. The chicken fried steak is very good and comes as a generous portion. They give you fresh hot rolls but lately they seem to be taking them out of the oven a bit too soon and come out a little doughy but they are still delicious. This place is usually pretty busy but it doesn't often take very long to get a table if you don't get one right away. read more

Had some health issues today couldn't leave the house my husband brought home some ribs half a rack of ribs rice mashed potatoes and gravy the ribs look gross and the rice and mashed potatoes and gravy were in sample size containers what a rip the ribs look nasty will never eat there sent the ribs and the small small containers back will never order or eat there again what a rip off and a waste read more

Texas Roadhouse blended with a Taxidermist. This is the first restaurant I have visited in a long time where I was completely confused by the interior. Santa Fe is in New Mexico, The franchise started in Baton Rouge, the Cowboy Combo has Texas sausage, and the bar displays local Oklahoma sports teams (ECU, Ok Thunder, OU, OSU). I went to the website and it seems they make a point NOT to be in Texas. The yeast rolls came served with cinnamon butter. There are peanuts to eat and throw on the floor. There are pretty college girls serving steak. As I was getting my check, the waitstaff started yelling someone's birthday. Sound like Texas Roadhouse? The steak and mixed veggies were really good, my sirloin was almost perfectly cooked. The Santa Fe potatoes were not cooked all the way. Total Bill- $19.38. Average for steak and drink. Four stars by Ada standards, two stars by Dallas standards= 3* total Beer snob side note- why no craft beer? Choc and Prairie Artisan Ales are made 40 miles away! Six breweries in OKC and not one represented? 4 variations of bud light? I feel bad for the locals! read more

My dog wouldn't even eat this it tasted so bad the steak was the worst and it took 1 hour to get the food

Mediocre at best. Let's start with the positives: the bread and butter is delicious. It's the same kind of sweet rolls you get at places such as Logan's Roadhouse. Very tasty! The mozzarella sticks were also very good! (And I LOVE my mozz sticks). Now let's get to the point. As a former waitress, the service was disappointing. I wish I knew the name of our server, but she didn't wear a name tag or tell us. She kept forgetting things we asked for, and we didn't ask for a lot (just refills, condiments, stuff like that). I was drinking sweet tea, and she asked multiple times if I was drinking water. I was not. The food didn't come out together for the whole table. The mashed potatoes were cold as soon as the plate was placed in front of me. One member of our party ordered the kid's Mac & cheese. If you look at the photo, it just looks like penne noodles and Alfredo sauce. She's 10 and said "it was bland and tasted nothing like Mac & cheese" and refused to eat it. The picture was taken after we paid and were about to leave. I would say our whole table was extremely polite. We said please and thank you for everything, but we never got a response from our waitress. Nothing to let us know that she heard us. She was very soft spoken, we couldn't hear her, and she seemed really annoyed that she was working. read more

Mashed potatoes were pure salt. Steak was okay. It is very inconsistent. However at this outing the staff (4 waitresses) chose to sit at a table and talk to a customer while playing on their phones and eating food from another restaurant at the customers table. read more

So many problems ... I sat at the bar and they were out of first beer request on tap, then second request was served barely cold. I got the full slab of ribs which seemed impressive and plenty, but turned out to be mostly dry and over cooked. I did like the BBQ sauce though. The sweet potato was the smallest I've seen in a restaurant and it was barely warm - the butter didn't melt. I hadn't been to a Santa Fe Cattle Co place in many years and not much has changed. read more

We ate at this restaurant on a Sunday evening. The waitress we had really went above and beyond and saved our experience. I truly believe the management needs to be checked up on. The restaurant was slammed busy and our poor waitress accidentally dumped a tray of drinks on her. She recovered wonderfully. She had like five tables waiting on her and came to each and explained what happened. Not once did she have a manager help her and we never seen a manager on the floor at all. Ot took us over an out to get our meal and eat. My steak was cook way to raw so the three stars I gave the restaurant was for the waitress alone. This was our go to in ada haven't been here in a few years and it was real different. read more

My family and I came to this nice steakhouse for dinner with high hopes. The appetizers were fantastic. But my dad found a hair in his salad, and he ordered a medium rare sirloin steak that was $20.. it came out still mooing and was not appetizing what so ever. My aunt asked for a manger to talk about the steak, she's been in grocery retail for +30 years. Now the manager came said he would give a discount, she told him it shouldn't even came out the kitchen which is exactly right. Very impressed! I ordered a 16oz steak and loaded mashed potatoes with a salad. When getting my steak medium rare. I cut into the steak and it was raw and cold to the touch. They took it back and cooked it some more. After bringing it back again it was still raw. The waitress then apologized for the situation and offered to have the cooks make a new piece of meat l. After doing so the meat was perfect and the waitress was awesome! What a great way to make the customer happy and go the extra mile to make them happy! read more

Should have read reviews. I'm from Amarillo had to come to Ada twice on business this year.. It's close to hotel, service was good, but both times steaks were either under cooked or over cooked. Last night I'll argue what I got wasn't a sirloin looked more like flat iron or flank.thin it did not have texture of a sirloin..and it was charred.. if I come back I'll drive a bit and save the ease of walking across the street read more

A group of us stopped in while visiting. We had 11 people. After almost about 30 minutes of waiting we were escorted to a 4 top table. We were told to wait longer. After 25 minutes I asked how long the wait would be. I have two young children who were hungry and ready to eat. I was told that we could already be seated if we would sit at different tables. Which we were offered. So it was our fault that we were not seated. She was so rude and It escalated to a big fuss. The manager walked up to us and threw up his hands and said he wasn't going to deal with this. My whole problem was how rude they were and after our party being the only one left waiting. I was told they only had one table for large groups and it was in use. There was one nice manager. Sadly I cannot remember his name. But Ernesto Campos was the rudest person to walk up last and refused to give me a corporate number and told me to look it up. We left and had no problem at another restaurant that simply pushed tables together to accommodate us. When in Ada, Beware of this restaurant. If you are used to quality don't go here. read more

Took my family in for lunch, the young man serving us was not very happy working, he was not attentive, I am still waiting for refills on our drinks. My daughters fries were forgotten, I ordered a bowl of chili and got a cup, my club sandwich was only half a sandwich, my wife's baked sweet potato was Luke warm at best. The service lacked any real care. Not impressed. read more

I don't do many reviews, this one is worth my time to post. We went there last night with 8 people to celebrate with family and were VERY disappointed. The service was slow, all our food was cold wen it got out to us, and they messed up almost half of the orders. One person ordered the Santa Fe chicken salad, an she got a plate with a chicken breast on it. Yep, that's it! A piece of chicken! 3 people ordered the Santa Fe tilapia, which has a nice sauce on it. Two of them got blackened catfish. Then the waiter had the gall to argue with us that they don't serve catfish that way! Two of us ordered coleslaw as sides and were told 10 minutes AFTER all the food was brought out that they no longer has any coleslaw and would have to order another side. Needless to say, this is off my list for next visit. read more

Three nights in a row.....the food was late, the food was not prepared right, the presentation was bad. I spoke with the floor manager on the last visit. He said, "We are doing pretty well". It is a new restaurant in a growing town, of course it's doing, 'pretty well'. He was defensive and somewhat confrontational. The food tasted fine, but every thing else was wrong. While I waited 35 minutes for a fiesta salad on a Thursday night, I noticed the manager hugged up to many young girls in the establishment. I will return, simply out of convenience. However, he needs to correct his management or leave. read more

Good food good service. Friendly people. Restroom were clean as well as the cafe itself.

Two words: Redneck Tea! A Redneck Tea (alcoholic drink) is basically a Long Island with Everclear instead of Vodka, and one other ingredient besides a tap of Coke. It's served in a mason jar, and it's about $8... so it's amazingly efficient in getting you tossed. We each drank 3 of these last Saturday, and I haven't gotten a start to my night like that for a long time. I ordered the "Death Burger" and it kicked @ss. Prices were great, service was excellent, and atmosphere was overall perfect. read more

I ordered take out dinner from here last night and to say it was a disappointment is a HUGE understatement. When I pay almost $100 for dinner I expect better. I ordered the 9oz sirloin and grilled shrimp with onion rings and steamed broccoli. I ordered my steak medium and it was pretty much well done. The onion rings (there were only 5) were packaged on top of my steak which made them soggy from the condensation off of the steak. My husband and step daughter order the chicken fried steak and both steaks were almost burnt and dry. The gravy they received tasted like it had a whole container of garlic poured in it. The food was just disgusting! I was told when I called the order in that it would be ready in 30 minutes but when I arrived to pick up my order I still had to wait at least 20 more minutes. I stood at the take out window for 10 minutes before the girl even acknowledged me while she fumbled with a stapler!! I am extremely upset and disappointed with the food. I will not be returning to this restaurant! read more

Covid had nothing to do with the sorry food I received. The New York strip steak was cooked perfect to medium but the problem was that it was tough, grainy and cold. The baked potato was cold! The asparagus was burnt and floppy. Never will I ever go back. read more

We were seated promptly, but in the summer in Oklahoma, and the whole place was HOT! Our waiter took good care of us, but our food came out luke warm from the kitchen. The steak was delicious, but I sent my baked sweet potato back twice, because it was barely warm and the butter wasn't even melting, and FINALLY got a hot potato on the third try....we basically ate in stages, and our waiter apologized, but nothing from a manager apologizing for the poor service of delivering a whole hot plate! read more

I and my boyfriend came to SantaFe 4 times already. Pretty good experiences!!! I live in other state , just come to this town to see my bf. So he suggested me this is the best restaurant in town, so I can try steak and drinks. I love the decorating and love food and cocktails there also. The 4th time we came, I forgot my id so Bartender didn't let me drink alcohol but lucky my bf's house is very close to there so he can come home and take it over LoL. I wish bartender can remember my face so next time when I come again I can try all of cocktail you have :-D of course me and my bf family love this restaurant. We will comeback for dinner some time.
