It felt like I was getting the princess treatment between having my hair and makeup done, and getting to choose from the beautiful client lingerie collection. Once it was time for the photoshoot to begin, Mina was great at showing me how to pose, and made sure to fix my hair or pose so she could get the best pictures possible. I settled right in and Monica (Lanett's very talented makeup/hair stylist) started on my hair and makeup immediately. She did a beautiful job. Since this was my first time doing a boudoir photo shoot I felt the usual nerves. Lanett really helped ease my insecurity. From hand to foot placements, she did an awesome job at guiding me through the entire shoot. I honestly do not think anyone else could have done a better job with this. Walking away from the studio I had a huge smile on my face and was so happy with the experience. A few weeks later, I made an appointment for the photo reveal and picked out the pictures I wanted for my album and digitals. This was very exciting and fun! Personally, I have never had a male boudoir photographer and decided to give Mark a try. I recently had surgery and this was my first boudoir shoot after recovery, so this was a special occasion! Booking and completing the online consultation was easy. I had the advantage of already being familiar with boudoir, but for anyone who is hesitant to try for whatever reason, the virtual consult is sure to put your nerves at ease. My first impression of Mark was that he is very professional and respectful. You can tell that his mission is clear and he wants his clients to have full control over what they want out of boudoir. Everything was explained clearly and I was left with zero questions. On the date of the shoot, I was able to find Mark's studio with ease. There is ample parking as it is in a neighborhood, and the unit itself is located in a gated condo community. He came down to greet me. Upon entering the unit, I was greeted by his makeup artist and she got straight to work while Mark went upstairs to give us privacy. Both Mark and the artist made me feel very comfortable and, bonus points -gave me deejay power. The makeup artist was very flexible and didn't ask a slew of questions when I told her that I didn't have any expectations. I don't own a lot of makeup and wearing it is even more rare, so it was a nice change of pace to have someone truly use my face as a canvas. I am super pleased with the results and was able to wear it to dinner that same night! As for the shoot itself, Mark conveyed his instructions well while considering what I wanted from the shoot. At no point did I feel uncomfortable, unsafe, or insecure. He encouraged taking my time and didn't force me to do anything that I didn't want to do or was physically incapable of doing because holy cow -boudoir is a workout. Anyway, it took a little while for photo editing but it was worth the wait! An additional appointment was required for the reveal, and it was very challenging to pick my favorites since Mark did an amazing job. As for payment, Mark was super patient and understanding with me despite a few financual curveballs. Once paid in full, I received my boudoir photos, elegantly displayed in a photo album. The extra goodies (chocolate and a yeti cup) lends a luxurious feel, all packaged in a gift bag. Everything was so well done! I am pleased to report that the entire process from start to finish was effortless, and I highly recommend Dream In Blue Photography!

Tried to return shoes purchased two days earlier and the cashier, Emilo (I don't think that was really his name, refused to show me his name tag) acted like they had been run over by a semi truck and thrown into a river. They hadn't been worn besides trying them on in the store. He said they were filthy, and I tried pointing out the dirt on the bottom was on ALL the shoes in the store... because the ground... is dirty. He refused to do the return and acted as if giving me the $14 back was going to ruin his life or something. He also said I didn't have the Ross tags. I removed them from the shoes and showed them to him, and he got defensive again and said "well, they've pretty obviously been worn." The size sticker was literally still on them, laces tight and tied, and purchased literally two days ago. So to reiterate, unworn/unused merchandise can't be returned I guess. Clearly dude needed a win, so I just bought the other items I came for, took the shoes back, and left. I feel sad for Emilio, it's a bummer he needed to bully a young woman to feel better about himself today. Someone should give that guy a hug, or maybe some therapy. Security guard was nice though! Acted like a normal human being and such. Besides the dirt being on the bottom of the shoes in the store (oh my god.... how abnormal and disgusting!) store is fine. I went ahead and added pictures of the bottom of some shoes... try to guess which ones I was attempting to return. Winner gets to give Emilio a hug and tell him he's doing a good job.

She had raved about her experience then and I was excited to take my own dress here. Even with Covid, they were very sweet and accommodating, gave me excellent advice regarding how we should take a few things in (the top front/back of my dress was ALL illusion paneling and I wanted to be able to lift my arms) and they really knocked it out of the park. They took excellent care of me and my dress was PERFECT. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised at the pricing as well. I was prepared to pay a solid $1k more than I was charged due to the delicate nature of my dress. You're in the best hands here. You and your dress will be thrilled with the results!
