You can get a good deal with government auctions, but they are a lot of work. It took two rounds with the demanding auction company which made for two rounds with Jessie at SCLG, but she did not give up. I would certainly use SCLG again. read more

My experience recently working with Victor Romero at Santa Cruz Lending Group was really nothing short of excellent. As a first time home buyer, I did not know much about the lending and escrow process on the onset. I was initially pre-approved for a home loan with a non-local lender, but once I found my trusted real estate agent, he strongly suggested that I consider working with Victor on my home loan. I could not have gotten better advice. In every interaction I had with Victor he was thorough, professional, and took the time to make sure that any and all of my concerns or questions were fully addressed. My FHA loan was done in conjunction with a County assistance program, which can be very tricky to navigate, but Victor worked tenaciously with the County to see the process through to completion. Victor provided me with multiple mortgage options, and was able to develop a home loan that I could both understand and also afford. Victor worked tirelessly throughout the process, including many conversations with not only myself and my agent, but also with the selling agent of the home I bought, to both ensure that my offer would be accepted and also provide regular updates during escrow.
