I was scammed, so I had to close my bank account, and open a new one. Fine, scammer received no $s,…read morebut a bit later, no SS check. Updated my direct deposit, but the SS website gave me an option of starting my DD in July or August. I was waiting for my March check, which should come at the end of April. Tried to bypass, but NO, you must pick one. WTF! There was no way to change this any where on the site or by phone. Couldn't wait for 2-4 weeks for an appointment, so into the abyss of a government bureaucracy I proceeded. Showed up at 9AM (opening time), already a line of 15-20 people waiting at the door. Got in line, and after about a half hour was standing in front a kiosk for check-in. Oh of course my issue was not listed, mine Account Suspended. I chose something, and then because I am disabled, I had 2 choices for my disability, which is balance issues, so I push a 4 wheeler, which was NOT a choice. Blind or deaf, hard of hearing. Her Ladyship, reached over and chose the hard of hearing, because I froze a bit. and off we went to sit at one of the 20 plus chairs. From the numbers on the display board, it looked like it would be a very long wait. 20 minutes later I was called, got a very nice man, and in 10 minutes I was out the door. Big Giant YAY. Place has easy parking. This was the Mountain View office.

Although I was technically in the wrong location based on my home address--which corresponds to the Mountain View office--I explained that the Campbell location is much more convenient for my workplace. The representative at window 12 was incredibly understanding and assisted me with my Medicare application with great patience. I was assigned ticket number D62, and I could not have asked for better service. I wanted to share this feedback to ensure her hard work and professionalism are recognized. Thank you again for the great experience.

What I can't understand is why they call mentally ill people up on the phone and ask them to explain their side of the story. What the heck? They want you to be all nice and cheerful as they're getting ready to yank your disability check. What is wrong with you? Also, if you become the payee for any grown-up and there's any problems they're gonna make you pay back the adult who got the money. you will be responsible to pay it back. And then they'll ask you to explain why you shouldn't have to pay it back. absolutely the most backwards group of people I have ever encountered. The problem with the whole system is the people who call you up and ask you to explain. They get paid to giggle as you try to wiggle yourself out of their jam. Then they deny you, and then the process just goes on and on, and on clogging up the whole system stealing the taxpayers money. They need to stop denying people. they need to grant their disability which they're gonna get in the end anyways and stop wasting money on the process. billions of dollars is being wasted on the process, and the poor judgement of the people left in charge of the judgments. Pancakes sounds good right now.

If you write him on a Monday he won't respond until Friday and vaguely at that. He was so hard to contact. He made the preparation process very difficult and added more stress. When we had a one on one in person, this man showed no interest while presenting the hall. He seemed like he had better things to do. No politeness, no smiling whatsoever, no kindness. Rushed us through the layout options, we emailed him two weeks before the wedding the finalized layout and he didn't respond until the night before the wedding. After telling us he would work with us due to the time he still didn't have the right set up on the day of. My husband fixed it the day of. Terrible customer service on his part. We had a slideshow, requested his assistance and never returned with the wire for the slideshow to play on the projector. You shouldn't be working for a community center if you're not helpful to your community. Rude. Disgustingly distasteful with your communication. The space itself earned the two stars, that guy Matthew ruined my wedding prep. Super annoying. I wouldn't treat people that way.

I'm assuming it's usually not super bad, but we went on Valentine's Day, so that made things a tad more difficult. There's a wide variety of eateries (just know that some of them close for a lunch break) and boba places and sweets places which is nice, as well as a local mom and pop owned market, a book store, gift shops, and the pop up for local independent artists. It's pretty lively on weekends with lots of people walking around, students busking, families hanging out, there's a ping pong table, and it's nice that they close down part of the middle roadway so pedestrians can walk easier and much more willy nilly, as well as opportunities for al fresca dining. Food options that I saw were Japanese, Thai, Korean, Chinese (from many regions), Indian, Mexican, American, Mediterranean, and much more. They got a sizeable Ume Tea here as well and if it weren't so busy, I'd stop by either of the 2 patisseries they had. Also, random, but I liked how they used that one storefront just to highlight what looks like a child's research project on penguins. Super cute!

What impressed me the most was the expression when he read the words I wrote on the canvas. ( The words described how I was inspired by the Santa Clara County Police Department, Cupertino, Sunnyvale, Palo Alto and Mountain View and they are from my heart) I could tell when he was reading it, the impact on him was so in tone with mine. I knew from that moment on that I gave the gift to the RIGHT person whose heart is at the right place. In other words, he loves this country with passion just like me. Later on, by contacting his staff I sensed how much he is respected by his staff in the department too. In this turbulent time we are all facing in our society, we need people like him to help our country even though it is like salmon swimming upstream. I was inspired by him and I know from the bottom of my heart that he is the guiding light in Mountain View Police Department. With his leadership, our police department can head toward the right direction to protect us good citizens in spite of the difficult and challenging tasks the police department have on hand in general today. Therefore, I feel the obligation to let citizens know and hopefully all the good citizens in Santa Clara County will contribute, small and big alike, our effort and prayers to help them along the way. Sincerely, Josephine Ding, residents of Cupertino since 1980's.
