We have been to their other location on Steeles and liked their simple food and decided to try this location as we were close by. The signs outside do not mention "Sanjhi Rasoi" in English, we don't read Punjabi but guessed the name.
The interior is plain, looks like it has been taken over from another restaurant that may have closed. The service is very good. All the girls that attended to us were cheerful and were willing to make adjustments to make the dishes vegan friendly.
The food is very simply made, with minimal spices. The Channa Masala was good, not too spicy and also far less greasy than other restaurants. The Parathas were great. We made them with no butter to make them vegan. Fairly good size and filled OK with Gobi (Cauliflower) and Mooli (radish), our two different types. read more
