Their fees are INSANELY expensive compared to virtually any other PEO. Their processing platform is not keeping up with the times and is super outdated. Their reports are minimal at best and, again, many are blocked and you need a support ticket. Their fees go up every year, they just fired their CFO last year, and you're going to get hit with random "innovation fees" throughout the year that have no explanation. They control your pay dates and make it nearly IMPOSSIBLE to move payroll processing dates.. for example they'll demand payroll be due on the final day of a pay period, despite having hourly employees who have barely started the day, and it's due by 10am. Any request to change that payroll processing date (because, you know, that's kind of illegal), is met with... "oh, sorry, the team says a week isn't enough advance notice". And no matter how many times you remind them HEY, we have HOURLY EMPLOYEES, we need payroll to be processed AFTER the pay period ENDS, they will continue to schedule and demand it that way... but only sometimes!!!... and it's not relevant to any holidays or weekends etc. It's just random. Sooo many road blocks, a VERY outdated processing system, very unfriendly user interface, they gatekeep nearly every permission in the entire system, and you don't have full access to your own company or employee data. The staff will pretty much always be passive aggressive or annoyed with your requests, and the layout is horrible. They're like the boss that nobody likes because they micromanage everything and don't give any of their staff a single ounce of autonomy, then get mad when the turnover rate is sky high. 0/10. Do not recommend.

They shared a portal for us to upload docs into. It took us a few weeks to get started uploading those docs but we're still within their purported time-frame in mid-February. We had some access issues that, for myself, they fixed; that was not fixed for my wife and we had to bug them several times in the last week before our scheduled tax prep meeting. They then reached out to me, saying that they can no longer work with us and that they'll delete all the files I uploaded to their vault. When I asked them why, they did not respond.

I greatly appreciated the fact that you could request a consultation through Yelp. I filled out the "First-Time Client Form & Quote" online, answered some questions, and got a quote shortly after submitting it. Just a FYI, minimum preparation fee if $400. But we've messed up doing our own taxes before on Turbo Tax and had to pay a hefty interest fee for our error. For that reason, I have been willing to pay more to make sure that doesn't ever happen again. My husband and I have multiple properties which is why we just don't even try to do taxes on our own anymore. With this quarantine, everything was done online and was quick. We had a meeting online, Sean set up a cloud folder for us to drop our files, and he had our tax return ready within ONE DAY! SUPER FAST! We were able to sign everything off with DocuSign. If you're tech savvy and want someone who is quick, responsive, and thorough, Sean is your guy!
